People don't often associate Japan with life on a sail boat but the country is rich with incredible places to explore via the great ocean. Daniel Springett and his family of 5 (plus a dog) have been traveling the world on their stunning 55ft James Warram designed Catamaran but for the last couple of years have called the Inland Sea of Japan home.

Superyachts & Atlantic Paddler - Ep. 47 RAN Sailing
    RAN Sailing

    Published on Apr 27, 2017
RAN and we sail to Antigua and lay anchor in Freeman Bay, English Harbour. This is the place to go to if you want to see a lot of superyachts! We couldn't help ourselves to daydream about which boat we would like to have. So many beautiful yachts! But English Harbour is not only a place for superyachts, it's also a world heritage site with Nelson's dockyard. Beside from walking around in the historical dockyard, we watch the SUP-paddler Chris Bertish make landfall after 93 days at sea crossing the Atlantic!

We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built aluminium Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.

WoW 35th Americas Cup Report #8 May 11 17 CAPSIZE #2 for ORACLE, ETNZ, bikes, helmets more
    Geoff Waller

    Published on May 11, 2017
In this WoW #8 Americas Cup Report Emirates Team New Zealand have a "close"near capsize as it looks like they had a late drop of the starboard foil and they tacked before it had time to settle in and they nearly snapped it as when they tacked it bent in all directions. That was close.
On the other hand the defender Oracle Team USA had their secong capsize as they were just going along and tacked. They just slowly dropped their hull in and rolled ove 90%. Very gentle but it must be worrying to Larry. We have the actual fall over footage and the on-board cameras.
Tyson Lamond of the SoftBank Team Japan, ETNZ putting the best on their bikes, we look at the design of the ETNZ helmets and training on the Great Sound.

He's one busy pilot as he still has to sail and beat his opposition.
On ETNZ it's all about Pedal Power" and we look at the training of the "Biker/Sailors", the new PAC 52's have their first races, MC 38 Winter Regatta Act #1 Pittwater, WoW VOR Report building Boat #8, a foiling Laser in the UK and the defender of the Americas Cup does it again, I lies down not hurting anybody. Can they fix the obvious problem in time to stay upright and get round the course?
We'll see soon as the Louis Vuitton series is only days away from starting.
Another huge week around the globe in the sport of Sailing and it's all here in www.boatson.tv "World on Water" Global Sailing News Show.

Do you love airplanes or are you afraid of flying? Then you'll either love or hate St. Barth's airport. We arrive in the former Swedish island during the sailing competition the Bucket Regatta where the iconic J-class participate. And of course some of coolest superyachts in the world! St. Barths is also the island where Johan used to work as a cabinet maker 17 years ago and the story about how he ended up there is so cool and funny!

WoW 35th Americas Cup Report #9 May 18 17 Crashes, Dunking, Boss, Drones, Pedals, Grinders more

In this WoW 35th Americas Cup Report Emirates Team New Zealand are the focus as they nose dive, get hit by a struggling Land rover BAR boat (Ben says a light tap) a week out from the Louis Vuitton Challenge Series which also features the DEFENDER? How did that get voted for? Who ran that meeting? and more from the course as ETNZ Skipper Glenn Ashby (AUS) takes a dive of the back of the boat, Artemis Racing is looking good and Kiwi Defender leader Sir russell Coutts gives his "take" on the latest and generally all is tickety-boo for the event.
I can't wait but I'm sure the shore teams are nervous.
