Have any of you guys found a storage box, that works for PCGS, and/or NGC slabbed 5 ounce ATB's? Didn't see anything on PCGS website. I have a Canadian Mint box for Platinum coins I think, that ain't gonna cut it.

It appears that the Douglass bullion puck is going to be the highest premium puck of the 2017 ATB bullion set based on the prices that I have seen on ebay and on the major online bullion dealers. That is interesting to me because, despite the same 20,000 mintage, the Ozark is IMO a better design than the Douglass puck. I am also saying that without knowing what the George Rogers Clark bullion puck mintage is going to be.

We on the forum might have underestimated the popularity of Frederick Douglass as a historical figure, I reckon.

The same thing goes with last year's Theodore Roosevelt coin, which is seeing a decent premium despite having a fairly high mintage.

Yep. More people are familiar with Frederick Douglass than with Ozark. From my perspective, I am familiar with Frederick Douglass but I was not familiar with nor have I heard of Ozark until this year with the release of the ATB Ozark bullion puck.

That was a good deal last weekend, on the Douglass MS69Dimples. I snagged one, and then someone bought the last 6. Made me second guess the quantity.

FWIW, about 2 weeks ago, I had an opportunity to buy an Ozark bullion puck for $90 but I was too slow to react and missed buying it but I did buy a 2013 Mount Rushmore bullion puck for $100 from a LCS (bought with intentions of reselling on ebay). If I would have bought the Ozark at that time, that would have been a quick and easy flip for me.

I still will plan to bottom fish for certain ATB bullion pucks but I will be quicker this time around.

It's been on the cheap pre sale price for so long my guess is it's a 40,000.

Yeah, I understand that's the cheapest time to buy them generally but this Clark puck seems like it's been on pre sale forever.

Seems like Ellis Island suffered from pre sale price hype coming on the heels of the two 20k issues before it.

Pre sales have really stretched out this year, often starting well over a month before the coin is actually available.

    Clark bullion is currently at

32,400 making it for third place in 2017. Ozarks are priced less at most online places and are a lot less available than the Douglas. A guess is the Douglas being priced a lot higher with same mintage are moving slow.

I suspect you are right. I am sure the little mint elves are busy working at the 2018 issues. The bullion silver eagles come out in the beginning of the year and usually sell in the millions in the first couple of days. Also, a quick look at the release schedule shows that the Mint is pretty heavily front loaded with new products early this upcoming year. I think they are dome minting 2017 stuff. we'll see.

Grab em now before the premium jumps to $5 or $6 over spot ....guaranteed 10% bounce in your invest me, and if these stay under 35000 mintage they'll pay off well once the series ends and the sheep realize they waz paying more for lame old ASE's than these beauty's which have a fraction of the mintage.

I used to buy a couple of ASE rolls every year and gave that up when I started buying a tube of each ATB. The ATB's are a TAD more expensive (x 5) but they have more potential

The grandpa with the ATB collection will be way cooler than the one with the ASE collection.

"Come here kiddies I want show you my tubes of ASE's. Here's my 2007's, here's my 2008's, my 2009's, etc..."

It'll be a snooze fest with the grandkids.

Now pull out the ATB collection and you can show them Yosemite, Gettysburg, Effigy, etc... And you'll be #1 Grandpa.

    Lol.

The ATBs have a variety of designs that SAE's will never match. Of course, this is JMHO.

    Bullion puck stats:

Highest mintage was Gettysburg & Glacier at 126,700

Lowest: Hawaii, Denali, Douglas and Ozark at 20,000

Current prices using APMEX 'cuz it's easy to see them all on one page :

Highest price goes to Acadia ($341), Hawaii ($316) and El Yunque ($229)

Acadia is at 25,400. El Yunque 24,000

BUT..full disclosure...the last Ebay sales of these highest price APMEX ATB'S is a bit different

    Acadia..$257
    Hawaii...$249.89
    El Yunque...$164.50
