This is what you get with Bitcoin.

    Funny money printing dictatorship.

Started a thread over there that was picking up some steam called "Silver to outpace Bitcoin: Soon".

    Must be Euro-based message board.
I think what I read would "float" on if it was "AMERIKAN"

Cannuck boards are overly sensitive too. The reason I left KRAPCO long ago.

I feel sorry for those that believe in bitcoin.
    US has over 7000 nukes.
    Russia has over 7000 nukes.
    That's an EMP times 14,000.
One tiny EMP over US, no more internet and ergo, no bitcoin.
No internet will be an inconvenience for those holding PMs, but at least, we are holding.

Yeah, if I don't physically possess my wealth then I really don't have it. Bitcoin is just like FRNs....a promise to deliver which can become worthless at any time. Gold and silver losing all its value seems highly unlikely and even it it were you can still hold it and admire the shine

It has a role, some are too close minded to see it.

Say for example you are fleeing your war torn country and you want to get past checkpoints and not be robbed by corrupt soldiers who will take your gold if they find it, and your now worthless cash. Remember you gotta physically carry your gold.

Cash has a role, so do PMs and digital currency.

Gold is forever, cash for convince, and digital for well, being digital and fluid.

Fair point but I don't ever see myself fleeing America. I do see myself dying for America but that's a different discussion. That being said your point is indeed well taken for people who find themselves in a situation you described

The US government at one point had taken gold from the public; I don't foresee it happening again but who knows.

The US government didn't actually confiscate gold, they made it 'illegal' to own. Illegal only works if you get caught. While many people turned their gold in to the government, many more didn't. Thankfully there's plenty of pre 1933 gold coins still out there to invest in.

Bitcoin's big allure is about moving your money around the world easily. Don't know about the rest of you slaves, but, I don't move my money around the world, nor am I "fleeing". If this shit show goes the way it seems, there will be no fleeing and the net will be shut down. Spare me the anonymous crap and unregulated/untouchable dream of the mighty coin. If you were all so sure of yourselves you wouldn't be on this forum talking shit, you'd be rich in bitcoin wealth or whatnot. Its just a path to take you down the cashless society row and confiscate the remainder of your wealth......

Yes, it's ironic how some consider bitcoin as a means of getting out of the "system," given that the "system" must remain very much up and running in order to use bitcoin. If even parts thereof shut down, bitcoin usage may become impractical or impossible. A bag of war nickels will then go a lot further than a satchel of satoshis.

Here is a great example of "getting out of the system":

Lets meet todays (26-Dec-2016) Bitcoin exchange with the highest volume and learn a little about it.

Todays work @ $18,386,300 representing about 15% of the trading volume for the day.

    Bitmex
    https://www.bitmex.com/app/aboutUs

Someone please tell me how that is "anti system"?

They are also very good at editing threads over there as well.

    Hilarious really.

Even with the permaban they still left some of my threads intact.

    Not the silver thread though.

    Perhaps to "antibiotic" for them.

There is no reason to discuss the business of Bitcointalk.org on the Goldismoney2 forum since members here are free to sign up there as well but for the record, you deleted most of your own posts.

Thats right anyone can look at my post history over there and see that I replaced alot of what I said in the past with a "." or deleted it.

But that is a forum right or it wouldn't have been an option.

But as a user what I could not do was delete a whole thread off the forum like "Silver is about to outpace Bitcoin: Soon".

Mods handled that one on their own.

Mods also deleted tons of my comments in my own threads as well as others.

I guess mods deleting stuff they don't like is ok right?

But unless you had access to my account you wouldn't know that.

Every time my content was deleted I just smiled and moved along.

Here is an example of a deleted post considered "off topic" that a mod deleted for me.

There were tons of others but your right we don't need to talk about that here do we?
