    • He resurrected the 'crooked' Hillary moniker and accused her of directing her husband's tarmac meeting with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch

Oh Lordy – FBI Leaker James Comey Spotted Entering New York Times…
Posted on June 22, 2017 by sundance

Oh Lordy, this is divinely funny…

(Via Daily Mail) Former FBI director James Comey made a quiet visit to The New York Times on Thursday, one of few public outings since he admitted leaking stories to the newspaper about President Trump before the Senate Intelligence Committee on June 8.

Leaker Comey kept his sunglasses on and his gaze forward as he marched through the front entrance of the Times Square office building which houses the publication shortly after 6pm. He was accompanied by his wife Patrice Failor who also wore sunglasses. (read more with additional pictures)

Last two days the radio talking head kept his "reporting and talking points" to his typical fake news, gottcha journalism......
Every caller stood their ground. Radio guy wants daily press briefs from Spicer. Caller's said why so you can bash him, twist words and stories, make fake news.... they were having none of it.
One guy even said the msm press should have their credentials pulled. They do nothing of value.
Same yesterday where he was talking about no tapes, no comey tapes, he lied, no way for a leader to act. Callers said he twisted comey like the little bitch he is. Got comey to admit he was not under investigation.
Within his right to fire him. comey has been carrying killinton water for years. Host had nothing but egg on his face...... looking like Bagdad Bob trying to defend the media and their questions

We are gaining strength every day! Truth is winning.

More than HALF of ex-FBI director James Comey's memos of his conversations with Trump 'contain classified information'
    • Memos written by former FBI chief James Comey in which he recounted details of his conversations with President Donald Trump contain classified information
    • The revelation was made in a report by the The Hill , which cited officials familiar with the documents
    • If the officials are correct, that means there's a chance Comey may have violated federal protocols on the handling of classified information
    • Last year, Comey publicly criticized Hillary Clinton for her handling of classified information during the bureau's investigation into her private email server

Comey Using Clinton Defense – Leaker Says:”No memo was given to me was marked ‘classified'”…
Posted on July 10, 2017 by sundance

You just can’t make this stuff up. Yesterday it was revealed that several of fired FBI Director James Comey memos contained classified information:

[IMG](Via The Hill) More than half of the memos former FBI Director James Comey wrote as personal recollections of his conversations with President Trump about the Russia investigation have been determined to contain classified information, according to interviews with officials familiar with the documents.

This revelation raises the possibility that Comey broke his own agency’s rules and ignored the same security protocol that he publicly criticized Hillary Clinton over in the waning days of the 2016 presidential election. (link)

This latest report is contrary to James Comey’s prior assertion that he specifically wrote the memos about his contact and communication with President Trump to avoid containing classified information.

Today, the recipient of at least one of the leaked memos, Daniel Richman, claims the memo leaked to him by FBI Director Comey, with the specific intention to leak to the New York Times, did not contain markings designating the memo as “classified”:

(Via CNN) The Columbia University Law School professor and confidant of former FBI Director James Comey refuted a charge by President Donald Trump and his advocates in the media Monday: that Comey shared classified information with journalists.

Daniel Richman, with whom Comey shared at least one memo — the contents of which Richman shared with New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt — said President Trump was simply wrong.

“No memo was given to me that was marked ‘classified,'” Daniel Richman told CNN. “No memo was passed on to the Times.” Richman did share the contents of one memo, he said, but “the substance of the memo passed on to the Times was not marked classified and to my knowledge remains unclassified.” (link)

This Comey defense strategy is the same pattern used in the initial claims by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton when she attempted to defend herself against accusations the content of her unsecured email set-up did not contain documents marked “classified”. A defense later proven to be entirely false by…. wait for it… yup, James Comey.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

Obama's Justice Department gave Russian lawyer special permission to enter the US without a visa months before her meeting with Donald Trump Jr
    • Natalia Veselnitskaya is the lawyer at the center of the latest revelations about possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign
    • In late 2015, she was granted special permission by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch to enter the United States even though she didn't have a visa
    • In June 2016, she met at Trump Tower with Donald Trump Jr, campaign chair Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner
    • The meeting was arranged with the apparent promise that she would provide dirt on Hillary Clinton, Trump's opponent in the race
    • Six months before the meeting, Veselnitskaya was strip-searched and detained at London's Heathrow Airport
    • She was on her way to the United States to represent a Russian businessman who was on trial

Russian oligarch hired lawyer who met Donald Trump Jr and also paid the shadowy research company behind dirty dossier - then settled $230million money laundering case for just $6million
    • Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya's meeting with the Trump campaign last June was part of a larger, multi-pronged lobbying campaign in Washington
    • Veselnitskaya's boss Denis Katsyv spearheaded the lobbying campaign against the U.S. 'Magnitsky Act' that has hurt his financial interests
    • The operation included an effort to influence the Trump campaign's Russia policy, as well as targeted meetings with members of congress
    • At the time Katsyv was charged with $230million in money-laundering offenses
    • But days before the case was due to come to trial in New York in May of this year, it was settled for just $6million

Why Did Loretta Lynch Grant Trump Jr's Russian Lawyer A Special Visa To Enter America?

    by Tyler Durden
    Jul 13, 2017 6:30 AM

With everyone now rummaging through every document, intercept, and memo for something, anything tying Trump to Russia, The Hill's John Solomon and Jonathan Easley have unearthed details that show the Russian lawyer who penetrated Donald Trump’s inner circle was initially cleared into the United States by Loretta Lynch's Justice Department under "extraordinary circumstances" after she had initially been turned down.

Simply put, as The Hill notes, this revelation means it was the Obama Justice Department that enabled the newest and most intriguing figure in the Russia-Trump investigation to enter the country without a visa.

The Moscow lawyer had been turned down for a visa to enter the U.S. lawfully but then was granted special immigration parole by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch for the limited purpose of helping a company owned by Russian businessman Denis Katsyv, her client, defend itself against a Justice Department asset forfeiture case in federal court in New York City.

During a court hearing in early January 2016 as Veselnitskaya’s permission to stay in the country was about to expire, federal prosecutors described how rare the grant of parole immigration was as Veselnitskaya pleaded for more time to remain in the United States.

“In October the government bypassed the normal visa process and gave a type of extraordinary permission to enter the country called immigration parole,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Monteleoni explained to the judge during a hearing Jan. 6, 2016.

“That's a discretionary act that the statute allows the Attorney General to do in extraordinary circumstances. In this case, we did that so that Mr. Katsyv could testify. And we made the further accommodation of allowing his Russian lawyer into the country to assist,” he added.

The prosecutor said Justice was willing to allow the Russian lawyer to enter the United States again as the trial in the case approached so she could help prepare and attend the proceedings.

But just five days after meeting in June 2016 at Trump Tower with Donald Trump Jr., presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner and then Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, it seems the Justice Department had lost track of her... (as The Hill details)

Moscow attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya showed up in Washington in the front row of a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Russia policy, video footage of the hearing shows.

She also helped arrange an event at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. where pro-Russian supporters showed a movie that challenged the underpinnings of the U.S. human rights law known as the Magnitysky Act, which Russian leader Vladimir Putin has reviled and tried to reverse. About 80 people, including congressional staffers and State Department employees attended the viewing at the Newseum.

At least five congressional staffers and State Department officials attended that movie showing, according to a Foreign Agent Registration Act complaint filed with the Justice Department about Veselnitskaya’s efforts.

And Veselnitskaya also attended a dinner with the chairman of the House subcommittee overseeing Russia policy, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) and roughly 20 other guests at a dinner club frequented by Republicans.

All of which was a far cry from the narrow reason the U.S. government initially gave for allowing Veselnitskaya into the U.S. in late 2015, according to federal court records.

“There’s zero doubt that she and her U.S. colleagues were lobbying to repeal Magnitsky or at least ensure his name was removed from the global law Congress was considering,” said U.S. businessman William Browder, who was the main proponent for the Magnitsky Act and who filed a FARA complaint against Veselnitskaya, Dellums and other U.S. officials claiming they should have registered as foreign agent lobbyists because of the work.

Furthermore, as The Hill notes, the U.S. Attorney’s office in New York confirmed Wednesday to The Hill that it let Veselnitskaya into the country on a grant of immigration parole from October 2015 to early January 2016.

Justice Department and State Department officials could not immediately explain how the Russian lawyer was still in the country in June for the meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and the events in Washington D.C.

Maybe Washington is a "sanctuary for Russian operatives" City?

We look forward to the hearing where Lynch has to explain how she gave this "russian operative" special access to America, then lost track of her, only to discover her again via NSA intercepts, trying to pitch Magnitsky Act repeal to Trump Jr.

    The story behind the story
Why a Russian lawyer wanted to meet with Trump
    • By Anne Applebaum
I don't want to exaggerate: There is a lot we still don't know. Also, I still believe that the most shocking, disqualifying aspects of the Trump-Russia relationship -- President Trump's hero worship of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his admiration for Russian dictatorship -- are the ones that are already public. Nevertheless, the entry of Natalia Veselnitskaya into the Trump-Russia story is dramatic. This is not just because of what her role tells us about Trump and his entourage, but because of what it tells us about the possible motives of interested Russians.

To explain why, you need a few paragraphs of background. Veselnitskaya is a lawyer who has worked for many years to overturn the Magnitsky Act, a piece of U.S. legislation named after a very different Russian lawyer. Sergei Magnitsky was working for an American investor, Bill Browder, when he accidentally stumbled upon an incredible, almost unbelievable scam: Russian tax officials and police were secretly changing the ownership of companies, hijacking their names and bank accounts, and then using them to claim fake tax rebates and other payments. In effect, they were stealing vast sums of money from the Russian state.

Magnitsky learned too much about the scam, and in 2008 he was arrested. In jail he was reportedly deprived of medical care and beaten -- until he died. In the wake of Magnitsky's death, Browder launched an extraordinary crusade against the officials who had been involved in the original scam as well as Magnitsky's death. In 2012 he convinced Congress to pass the Magnitsky Act, a U.S. law that has now forbade 44 people, including bureaucrats and tax officials associated with Magnitsky's death, from entering the United States or doing business with U.S. banks.

The Magnitsky Act bothered the Russian leadership -- in fact, it really, really bothered them, far more than it should have. In part that may have been because it focused attention on the real source of so much Russian wealth: theft from the state. In part it may have been because the powerful officials involved, like all powerful officials in Russia, care a lot about being able to travel freely to the West in order to buy property, to go skiing, to hide their money.

It also set a precedent. Suddenly there was a way to target all of those gray bureaucrats, the men behind the scenes who give the orders to loot the state and kill citizens. The Magnitsky Act was the template for the sanctions that the Obama administration placed more broadly on Russian individuals and businesses in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As in the Magnitsky case, those sanctions were also very specific: They did not target Russians in general but rather prevented particular people and companies from interacting with the West, traveling and doing business here. At the time, the U.S. government explained that the sanctioned people and companies were selected for their proximity to Putin.

By contrast, Putin's response to the Magnitsky sanctions was designed to hit ordinary Russians, especially ordinary Russian children: He banned Americans from adopting them. His response to the Ukraine sanctions was similar: He banned Western food products, which led to higher prices for ordinary Russians, too.

Nevertheless, a lot of very rich, very influential Russians remained angry. They deployed Veselnitskaya -- she represented one of the companies accused of laundering the Magnitsky money in the United States - to lobby against the Magnitsky Act, to attack Browder personally, to even make a scandalous film about him and his crusade. Given how far they went and how much money they spent, it's not at all hard to imagine that they would deploy her in a far more audacious project: an offer to help Donald Trump become president, and to ask him to lift sanctions in exchange.

As I've argued before, the primary motive for Russian intervention in the U.S. election, like Russian interventions in politics all across Europe, remains geopolitical: to undermine U.S. leadership in the world, to weaken Western alliances and to damage Western democracy so that it will not seem attractive to Russians. But a small but powerful group of men might have had an additional, personal motive: to help elect a U.S. president who would lift the Magnitsky sanctions as well as the Ukraine sanctions, allowing them the freedom to travel and do business. They would have had a very strong motivation to contact the Trump team, to organize hacking, even to help pay for a social-media campaign.

Right now, both Veselnitskaya and Donald Trump Jr. are denying that they did any such deal, although that is hardly surprising. Both Veselnitskaya and the Kremlin are also denying that they have anything to do with each other, and it is important to note that this is perfectly plausible: Like the American state, the Russian state is not monolithic.

As I've said, much is not proved. But do note this: President Trump really did seek to lift sanctions within days of the inauguration. His team really has sought to block Congress from passing a law reinforcing the sanctions. He and his secretary of state really have issued conflicting accounts of whether sanctions were discussed with Putin in Hamburg. Does he feel he owes somebody a favor? And if so -- why?

Why in the world would Donald Trump Jr. take this meeting?
    • By RUTH MARCUS

Imagine that you are Donald Trump Jr. Your father has just clinched the Republican nomination for president. An acquaintance, someone you know from the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow, calls asking to set up a meeting with a Russian who, he says, has information helpful to the campaign -- i.e., dirt on Hillary Clinton. Do you:

    (a) Worry that this doesn't sound completely kosher and ask for a bit more information -- for example, who is this person?

    (b) Worry that this doesn't sound completely kosher and call the campaign lawyer to figure out how to proceed?

    (c) Invite the unknown Russian to come to Trump Tower and ask then-campaign Chairman Paul Manafort and your brother-in-law, Jared Kushner, to sit in?

The right answers, for anyone who has been around politics and political campaigns, are (a) or (b). Trump Jr.'s answer, we now know -- after his first, incredible-on-its-face explanation that in the midst of a presidential campaign the top brass paused for a meeting "primarily" about adoption of Russian children -- was (c): Come on down!

Why is this the wrong answer? As a practical matter, because you always want to be careful about dealing with political dirt: It can rub off on you. Recall that in the 1988 presidential campaign, two top aides to Michael Dukakis resigned over the leaking of a videotape that helped bring down rival Joe Biden over a cribbed stump speech.

And because you always want to be careful about mixing foreigners and political campaigns. This was, granted, before the WikiLeaked documents surfaced and, along with them, increasingly alarming (that is, increasingly alarming if your last name isn't Trump) reports of Russian involvement in the election.

But still, warning bells should have been ringing. Recall the front-page headlines and months of investigations during the Bill Clinton administration over money from Chinese nationals that ended up in the coffers of the Democratic National Committee. Granted, Trump Jr.'s second statement does not specifically state that he knew in advance that the mystery guest at the meeting -- Natalia Veselnitskaya, a lawyer with close ties to the Kremlin -- would be Russian. But that seems a fair presumption given that Trump Jr.'s relationship with the intermediary stemmed from their dealings in Russia.

And here's why that's not just a political problem but a potential legal one. As Democratic election law expert and former Obama White House counsel Bob Bauer has noted, federal election law prohibits soliciting or accepting "anything of value ... in connection with" an election from a foreign national. Bauer raised this issue in connection with Donald Trump's public solicitation of and cheering for Russian assistance on WikiLeaks and Clinton's emails.

The admission of direct contact on a campaign issue takes that analysis a significant step further. Would damaging information about Clinton be something of value to the Trump campaign? Sounds like it to me.

Trump Jr.'s false and misleading statements on his involvement with Russians add to the argument that this is a man behaving as if he had something to hide. Asked by The New York Times in March whether he had ever discussed "government policies related to Russia," Trump Jr. replied, "a hundred percent no." Then, confronted by the Times about the Veselnitskaya meeting, he first said the participants "primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children," before acknowledging, the next day, that in fact it concerned opposition research on Clinton.

Trump Jr. asserted in a tweet Monday that there was "no inconsistency in statements, meeting ended up being primarily about adoptions. In response to further Q's I simply provided more details." Right, he was just being helpful in omitting that pesky and barely relevant Clinton part. Happy to clarify.

This is a serious and, for the president and those around him, potentially perilous development.

That right there tells you how corrupt the .GOV, JUST-US System, is in the United States.

$6 MILLION is a BULLSH!T "settlement" when $230 MILLION could be connected to the crime. dung:

I would venture some American Elite or Business was facing charges in Russia so a behind the scenes agreement led to a HANDSLAP here and probably over there too. whistle:
