This is not going to be easy, the biggest potential participants are not in the mood of playing. Only Russia has stepped in but Putin hasn't really done that much and the other smaller players have run into some barriers themselves. Iran only does things by proxy in Yemen and in Iraq. Turkey is slow to move on much at all, even next door in Syria. Syria itself is in no position but to continue with its own civil war. Israel has remained on the sidelines for the most part, other than the Palestine "problem" which is really old hat by now - boring.

It seems to be hard to get beyond a certain threshold. The checklist was going well until just recently or maybe we shouldn't be worried. Maybe the MIC has things going as planned, maybe this is just the halftime show.

The American election process has qualified as a good show. Yes indeed, it must be the "halftime" break in the game, take a look:

    The "Checklist":

Create Fear Inside a Superpower - CHECK
We had a good event in 2001, FF or not, it worked. That along with the MSM telling us how there could be a terrorist in the back of every first grade classroom and how guns are a problem (regardless of Michael Moore having to come clean and create a movie admission that guns are actually not the problem, fear and the media is).

Designate an Unbeatable Enemy - CHECK
We have our war on a tactic now, not actually a war declared against anything or anyone in particular, just a war on a concept, war on some idea that just about anyone might ponder, enemy or not. America is determined to defeat something which can never be defeated, unless the world were to become a global police state. Congress, the President and even the majority of the world's population has bought into the idea that our common enemy is a terrorist, or rather the terrorists, or rather anyone that acts in a terror fashion, or well any person that thinks about terror or provides material support in the aid of horror, or rather, I mean terror. "Terror" in turns out, just like "fear," is quite the formidable foe.

Upset the Established Order of Things - CHECK
Bush spent 6 years knocking off regimes and fomenting revolt in at least a dozen countries, most of them in the best hot spot, the Middle East. At one time, these places were fairly stable and functioning societies but now that the hornets nest has been hit with a stick, over and over, these places have dissolved into widespread chaos and crime with armed factions rampaging through along with frequent bombings from above by various more powerful participants. Lawless regimes and basically just lawlessness has come to nearly half of the Middle Eastern region and with every passing crime and war inspired faction, things simply get worse there.

You Break It, You Run Away - CHECK
Of course Bush was told in his 2nd term, that he would need to finish the job he started in his first term. But "you break it, you own it" doesn't apply to superpowers. Did we really own anything in Nam? Superpowers create havoc and run away. "King of the Hill" is the game America plays and we play it from a distance. Most Americans don't know what the NSA, CIA, MIC, DoD and the others are doing and don't care - just don't show us on our TV and don't tell us if there's a little collateral damage. A few million or even tens of millions of deaths in far away places is not our problem - the rest of the world will need to step up to the plate.

Fund Some Proxies to Help Out - CHECK
Bush did his part, it is now up to Obama. At first it looked like an "oh bummer" moment, but over the course of Obama's 2nd term, things have started moving. It was slow going at first as some troops were withdrawn and America simply watched the Middle East implode and become a ravaging mess of power vacuum states. But Obama has now sold 3 times as much heavy arms into the Middle East as did Bush. Select states, with the help of American secret police have been given free reign to pillage and create as much turmoil and death as they want to. Pent up anger has been released on many sides and funding to all sides continues to increase. Switching our support back and forth between several different contending criminal groups, we have created a great regional war. "Let loose the dogs" has worked out well for this current American administration and America and the world is without a doubt now in more fear of terror than at anytime in its history.

Suffering as Acceptable Progress - CHECK
Poverty, pain and collateral damage has been the result of turning the Middle East and parts of Africa into war zones. This is considered progress. Refugees, women and children, most just peaceful, unarmed civilians without even the knowledge or desire to use terror, have been displaced, murdered, impoverished and recruited into slavery and mercenary service. Many millions have fled for their lives, on foot or by whatever means at their disposal. Hungry and with their backs to the wall, their livelihoods destroyed, some have turned to crime and lashed out which has created a backlash against them. This backlash and the fact that any close by or distant peaceful region has been overwhelmed by the numbers of those fleeing has created an atmosphere of hate and fear toward them. The victims of war have become accepted as fair game, they are either the spoils or its chalked up as simply "bad luck for them."

Bring in the Big Players - First Half Clock Ran Out
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been willing to step up and into the game but not as much as the powers behind war had hoped. China and European powers haven't really addressed the war directly yet. They appear to be waiting for a better entry point or maybe they simply want to deal with the symptoms and don't want to follow America's lead. I'm sure there's a number of proxy groups being funded by these other large players and they continue to sell military equipment and heavy arms into the war regions and other places, but for the most part America alone has been left to keep the war running. Recent terror actions in Europe have not spurred any nation to mobilize in a big way yet. The clock must have ran out on Obama, this must be halftime.

Halftime has gotten to be a bit boring. Millions of victims, like any other mass murder or global plague, will run its course and become a non-event given enough time. The MIC could be a bit worried. How are we as Americans, the bravest, the most war hungry and the most detached nation, the only remaining superpower, going to continue with our global fight against the terror tactic when other big players are so slow to play?

Certainly we've gotten Putin a bit upset and Europe has way more problems than before, but to continue into the 2nd half of this game we're going to need to upset a lot more nations. Will Trump, Cruz, Sanders or Clinton make for a better general than did Obama? Can these potential "leaders of the free world" piss off more of the big nations around the globe? I've stocked up on beer and have my TV tuned to FOX News. As long as they don't show any American body bags it's all cool by me. Elections coming soon. Halftime show over this year. Are you ready to rumble?

"Who can make war with the beast?"

The way I see it is a bit different than your views.... Collective GUILT is a most powerful tool to retain the masses to political & economic subjugation....

The refugees, legal & illegal immigrants from MENA are the perfect targets for pogroms & genocides... Much the same as occurred in pre WWII Europe by those escaping the brutality & confiscations of the Bolshevics.

The so called immigrants from Russia included many whom were not Jewish, and they too were imprisoned as illegals in the German labor camps. They too suffered the same as the Jews.

Point being that TPTB rammed the sufferings and genocide of the illegal immigrants down Germanies collective throats, subsequently creating a national psychological guilt complex resulting in a fairly tamed and easily controlled populace....

As I look at the Vaticans creation, the EU, many of the EU's members are speaking out about an exit from the EU treaty... How can the EU supporters contain and prevent the organization from being torn asunder, to prevent a collapse of the organization?

First they require cohesion to prevent members from seeking independence. The Muslim refugees & immigrants will cause plenty of social & political problems requiring a unified EU to manage the great difficulties. And of course it is orders directly from Brussels commanding the importations of these immigrants.... I suspect, like WWII, once the socioeconomic problems can no longer be contained there will result in pogroms & genocides against the MENA immigrants.... It looks to me like its all being set up with the importation of terrorists, terrorist sympathizers and actual acts of terrorism.... The war drums of hatred against the Muslims are beginning to beat loudly in Europe.

The same game is being played in the U.S. with Negros, gays, transsexuals, etc...

Past history reveals that this & these scenarios have been created & deployed innumerable times thru antiquity to retain social & political powers over the masses...

This time will not be different either.

IMO, the vast difference is the use of social media and instantaneous communications, but other than that, I believe you are correct in terms of the hatred being artificially fomented against those unlike us (who is us)?

And, how could I fail to respond when you loosely quote revelation 13?

The last 5 sentences are sarcasm.

.... Did we get some wars started in the Middle East or not? Is fear of terror greater today than it was prior to 2003? Is a war on terror a war on a tactic or is it a war against a particular definable, defeatable enemy?

There are 28 nations in the NATO Alliance.... Who is gonna make war with NATO??? There are no alliances at this time that can even possibly challenge the alliance... Thats why terrorism was invented and is being hoisted as the invisible enemy right along side it is the other enemy: climate change.

They're all models that are now becoming obsolete! There will be no WWIII modeled after WWI &WII, at least not yet. JMO

That is a very interesting point. But WWIII is a process, you even mention the difficulty of getting to it under a single superpower model. We're just now at halftime, so the process can take years and already has. But currently, it seems the forum members do not agree on the past account of history. Seems something is wrong with my cataloging of history since 2003, in the OP.

The ignorance of the masses is the biggest issue. As knowledge grows, solutions appear, as Aurumag alluded to.

So it seems at least one member agrees with the account of history since 2003. It seems that the MICC is winning the game here at halftime. A war on terror can co-exist with a global war. Why should that not be possible?

    Remember this?

Arrested oil tycoon passed shares to banker

    http://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2003/nov/2/20031102-111400-3720r/

So far its a bankers war using corporatist monopolism.... its a move to eliminate financial risk by seizing & controlling markets & the pricing mechanisms.

    This is ur half-time show!

The system either expands or it will contract, and if it contracts to great, then there must be a reorganization, and if there is no reorganization there is an irreversal effect and the civilization & its institutions implode. Western Civilization has reorganized four previous times.. each time throwing down the elite vested special interests and reorganizing.... A reorganization today would strip the bankers & financial interests of their proxy .govs and special protections they now enjoy under the fraud of central planning.

I think you give me too much credit in my Internet capabilities, I went to the site and read the few lines about the Russian oligarchs and such while dealing with the non-stop ads and pictures loading but did not get the connection really. The bankers are a huge part of any war effort. Were they stealing oil wealth from Russia to try and piss them off?

As to the half time show "reorg section", thanks, I liked it, have read your posts of similar things before and yes, makes total sense.

I do think the subject matter in the OP is most worthy of discussion.... The survival of western civ as we know it & have known it is reliant upon expansion... expansion meaning the military, political & economic control of outside civilizations and the price system.

The west is quickley approaching the apex where it as a civilization like inflation must expand or suffer great contractions resulting in loss of control & authority.

The military intrusions into MENA are evidence of the attempted expansion. The USSR collapsed as predicted by its failure to spread its social & political ideology & economic organization into other states whereby it could create new political & military alliances and economic treaties. The Russian led universal empire was fully contained by low level & assymetrical warfare on all fronts, political, economic, financial & militarily by the western universal empire (USA) and its economic & political alliances.

I think the only way a major WW breaks out is if the west fails to expand, as then it would be forced to take a defensive rather than offensive position in geopolitics. The Brits faced the same dillema when they were forced to liquidate their empire, as Germany began creating political, economic & military alliances with Britains former vassal states & colonies. Britain was contracting as Germany was attempting to expand resulting in two WW's....

The NATO alliance IMO must be terribly weakened (militarilly, politically & economically) before any outside civilization(s) are capable of challenging the right of the west to rule by might.

Indeed its a process, and a long one. As for Islamic civilization, they have been under attack & exploitation by the west for several centuries.... today they are under full attack by the west. A move to transform MENA into a new society and culture has begin. The Mullahs and independent Islamic PTB are putting up what amounts to minor resistance to the further major overturning of their civilization by the west.

Needless to say they will fail... there is no doubt that the western powers possess the intelligence of who, what, when & where military arms shipments are being transported to & fro in international trade to the belligerents (so called terrorists, defenders of Islam & their homelands) of MENA. Arms & oil continue to flow out of the region.

Evidently the flows of arms & munitions are sanctioned or allowed to flow into the region by the western powers. For what reasons it is unknown at this time, however I suspect they are allowing the flows to kill off as many violent objectors & protectors as they can before installing the western schemes to overturn MENA.
    y
I tend to think that the west will almost be guaranteed another 50 - 70 years of supremacy rule once they achieve total domination of MENA. Total domination however requires owning their hearts & minds and also the collective acceptance of western domination. This plan is now underway... MENA is being torn to pieces and will be rebuilt with the Japan model....

    JMO

    Please forgive my sesquipedalian rant.

No apology accepted because it was a pleasure to read your post. It was not a rant but a concise well thought through analysis and hundreds of times better than the Washington Times article which was lacking depth and filled with pictures and ads.

It's been a pleasure to read members' intelligent opinions on these matters compared to the utter garbage provided by MSM and alternative media sources which appear to be more interested in click counts, revenue and fostering stealth agendas than providing any substantial hard-hitting information. I believe the first amendment has failed our nation, it still exists but it doesn't seem to be providing information to the public in the way that the founders thought it would and the way it did in times past. I think the founders would have somehow changed something in there to level the playing field regarding information had they known how much more powerful modern media would become compared to the lone speaker found at some obscure street corner or on an Internet forum or chat area.

I still believe we can get to a world war while the west continues with years of supremacy and I still believe that is the goal of the MIC in accordance with TPTB wishes. But I'm not sure if this means there will be actual fighting inside China, Russia or America. I believe TPTB have decided to cull the population of the world prior to what they see as a point of no-return regarding climate change. While I do not believe the heat waves we have seen pose such a critical problem as to warrant such reaction - I do believe that higher up elements in the MIC and PTB have been led to believe in this themselves. Thus the need to ratchet up the wars significantly, at least 10 times larger than what we see today.

It is my opinion that various economic "gangs" are organizing not to make war, but rather to receive seats at the table, kinda like in the movie of the Godfather....

Hence assymetrical covert economic & warfare proxies are employed & deployed as use of leverage to gain a seat as the imbalanced global economy attempts to move back into a natural equalibrium.... The current global trade system is unsustainable & unstable, hence a new global trade system is under negotiation & construction.

The BIS CB System IMO are using whatever monetary supports are required to prevent the current trade system from collapsing as the new system is negotiated & installed.

Russia, Iran, Venezuela and several other low level key players are under pressure to capitulate to the new system & rules. The only way WWIII breaks out is if these players refuse to reorganize & play the new game. Keeping in mind that western institutional investors & big oil possess investment holdings & debt in almost every major economic & political jurisdiction on the planet.... A failure of these body politics to join the new construct would result in major financial & economic control losses over the price system and the flows of goods by the western corporatist powers.

Take for instance Putins Russian use of "limited" military power in Syria.... Cui bono? Was it war or a negotiation? Same can be said of Iran...

NATO is like a coiled serpent ready to strike surrounding MENA & the "Stans" controlling the POO. Considering the BIS CB induced reflationary policies since 2008/09 the fair value of POO should be north of $60 bbl.... yet it is much lower than its fair price. In fact it is so low on the world market that many producers are losing their national savings & assets, a.k.a. any financial or economic powers they have previously created or saved. IOW the belligerants that are in opposition to the NWO global trade reorganization are being economically & financially squeezed into capitulation by the west. A nation that is starving or loses its modern conveniences will usually replace its domestic political leadership with one that will provide!

These are some of the benefits of controlling the price system... The past political problems in the Ukraine & Greece, etc. were attacks on the Russian oligarchs & elites, placing their assets in jeopardy which placed great political pressure on Putin & his administration of Russian geopolitical affairs. This IMO is real reason behind the THREAT of "bail-ins," namely a scheme to threaten to or to actually confiscate foreign assets held by foreign citizens & institutions alike under color of law of the belligerent political units....

The article on the arrested oil tycoon was referenced as a reminder that western banking & economic interests hold a great interest in controlling Russian oil output. As they, like Iran & Venezuela, etc. represent wild cards to the control of the POO price system.... Putin like Chavez & Iran nationalized their nations oil & energy companies effectively freezing outside interference from western central controls. This is of course unacceptable to western controllers & their scheme to reorganize global trade in their vision.

China was allowed to expand untethered from all economic & financial reality... it appears with their recent voluntary acceptance & entrance into the IMF which includes many perks & access to various other institutions combined with their outstanding foreign held debt that they MUST by necessity be on board with the reorganization of the global trade system....

So this begs the question: "Who is so organized that they can make an organized military advancement employing direct warfare against the western alliance"??? There are none that I can see at this time. However, geopolitics being what it is today, direct warfare has been replaced with proxies under the disguise of religious zealots, terrorists & drug runners, mercenaries etc... all providing plausable deniability for the covert state sanctioned low intensity warfare.... Which of course are just another form of deniable negotiations and the flexing of geopolitical muscles.

Revisiting the statement concerning the importation of arms & munition flows into MENA, one must question why the belligerents & opposition did not & have not supplied the so called loosely organized Muslim terrorist of Al Q & ISIS, ISIL, etc. with advanced weaponry such as hand held ground to air missles, a.k.a. versions of the stinger missle system??? After all the U.S./NATO powers covertly supplied stinger missle systems to the indigenous Afghanistan Muj "freedom fighters" denying air power & superiority to oust the Russian/USSR air & ground forces in the eighties...

Why are these armaments of personal air & ground missle defense systems absent in MENA today??? Why is NATO allowed complete dominance of the air in MENA barring a few helicopter shoot downs via RPG's? Could it be that the opposition & belligerents were given full warning that the introduction of such weapon systems into the MENA theater would result in direct military confrontation???

For the above and many other reasons, IMO WWIII is not on the horizon any time soon.... The Brics are the closest geopolitical organization to challenge the superiority of the west... and for all intents & purposes they lack military alliance organization & preparation to even entertain such a challenge....

Please feel free to challenge or discuss any or all of the points I have introduced... I look forward to a rational discussion of this subject matter...

Heres some real BS from ZH & SHTF.

Is This The End Of The U.S Dollar? Geopolitical Moves "Obliterate U.S Petrodollar Hegemony"

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-...ical-moves-obliterate-us-petrodollar-hegemony

Havent these foolz ever heard of "giving up control to gain even greater control?"

I'm now of the opinion that sites like the aformention are nothing but controlled opposition & controlled info sites.... They are continuously regurgitating pure nonsense to their readerships mixed with half-truths & misrepresentations....

Yea sure, the $ gonna go down and get obliterated w/o any support from TPTB and economic blocs that are reliant upon it, $ denominated credit, $ denominated payment systems and the flow system.

Sorry folks, dollar hegemony is growing, not collapsing!

What absolute ignorant "horseshit" .... cause bullshit isnt even this deep!

I read the post and agree with nearly all of it. However, I do not come to the same conclusion about WWIII. Maybe we each have different definitions of WWIII. It seems you are making the assumption that for a war to qualify as a world war that it will require direct confrontation between 2 or more of the topmost powers and the only remaining superpower. If I am wrong about this assumption then please clarify.

But the problem may be that I am defining a world war as simply a really big war that includes at least as much territory under conflict as did WWII. I've loosely defined a "really big war" above in my OP as something about 10 times bigger than the wars we see today. But I think I'm wrong about that and it probably will need to be bigger than just 10x.

I am also including a breakdown of civilized society in numerous regions as enough to qualify as input into this escalation toward WWIII. What I mean by that would be many more Venezuelas but even worse. A serious economic/financial shock could cause this. For example, what if fiat money were to be completely rejected globally at some point in the future? Smaller nations wouldn't be able to mine enough gold to meet their energy and subsistence needs without credit. Larger powers might refuse to extend credit and we could see, not exactly war in all of those regions, but definitely enough crime and localized and regional conflicts, as nations attempt to survive under some semblance of autonomy, to qualify as part of a "WWIII" the way I loosely define it.

So we may be debating the issue without clear definitions. This is my fault as I wrote the OP and used the term WWIII and even put it into the title of the thread. Probably too late to change that to "Global SHTF." Lots of wars, lots of conflicts, society under duress in at least half the nations of the world is what I envision. I believe this is the ultimate goal which TPTB have in store for us because I believe they really do want to get back to the population numbers posted on that stone in Georgia.

Please let me know if that clears things up some regarding my definition of and goals for a WWIII.

Once we can agree more as to a definition of what I have called (possibly mistakenly) "WWIII" then I can begin the outline of how we get there with more details of how I think it will look as we do.

IMO low intensity & assymetrical warfare thru proxies do not qualify as World War.... however it could or even may lead to it.

In my definition of world war there are alliances fighting for domination and/or freedom/independence from social, political, economic and/or financial domination by and thru an alliance.

A true world war mobilizes the civilized world into two maybe even three sides of the conflict.... It is an all out conflict, winner takes all that spares no civilization from the conflict.

One measure of world war would be organizing global commodities between the two or three alliances/belligerents into war time activities, suspending normal economic activities. Almost all economic activity is diverted into the war effort by the participants to foment absolute destruction of the adversaries.

WWI & WWII are considered world wars as the European conflict between Britain & Germany dragged the Orthodox (Russia), Asian (China, Japan, Phillipines, etc.) and Islamic civilizations into the theaters of battle. IOW it became greater than merely a war between European political & economic powers....

Thats my understanding of the definition of world war.

Reads more like a long decline of an empire or civilization than a world war FM?

I see your point and BB also. But if that complete breakdown happens when you have giant military powers still in existence, doesn't that allow for both to evolve together? In today's world, a sudden global SHTF event could easily leave huge armies at someone's disposal. If there are 4 or 5 sides, in say a game of Risk, stalemates in certain regions might form following a grab bag style WW. The top players sometimes opposing other top players usually through proxies.

Maybe we start losing some provinces to other powers in the future but that seems far away heck China hasn't even tried to take Taiwan back, let's wait until that weak link fails before worrying about a WW3 IMHO. The muzzie mennace? They don't have a single ship or plane.

NATO created an agreement with Russia upon the collapse of the USSR that it would not surround Russia... Russia is learning the same lessons that the North America indigenous indians learned... treaties dont mean anything.

NATO to put 16,000 troops on borders of Poland, Baltic states with Russia

Why would NATO station a small contingency of troops on Russias border.... It cannot be for making war, thus it must be to regulate & control imports & exports moving into & out of Russia by land....

Russia possesses very few warm weather ports... If land transportation of imports and exports are terminated or severely curtailed, Russia will be forced to use oceanic transportation to import & export... and lacking warm weather ports, their geography will severely sanction the volumes of trade & commerce that may be conducted by them.... Over time the loss of imports & exports will socially & politically destabilize the country, creating the opportunity for the western alliance to install a regime that will work with & obey the western powers....

Indeed, it looks like both Russia & Iran are on the same path as Venezuela... collapse & then a new political regime.

Putins no chess master, he's in check from several different directions, check-mate is in his future, whether its one month, one year or 5+ years... !!!

You mean the "New 'Holy Roman Empire' World Order?" The ORDER that reinstates the displaced European Royals back onto the World Stage and global politics? Is this the ORDER operated by the Zionist backed by the Jesuits??? The ORDER that seeks total world domination thru economic, financial & military operations across the globe???
