Damn man... The American media is so corrupt that I have to look to the Russians for news that's closer to the truth? What's the world coming to?

On the one hand America is supposed to be fighting terrorists, and I have to get fingered whenever I travel by air, and on the other hand Washington is spending my hard earned tax money on supporting moderate terrorists linked to Isis and al Qaeda?

The American foreign policy doesn't even make sense. America is supporting foreign anti Assad government rebel mercenaries in Syria who are linked to terrorism while they claim to fight Isis who is also fighting Assad...

What do they think will happen if Assad falls? Another Libya or post war Iraq? Do we really need to do this same song and dance again? Do they really just sit there in the pentagon all day and think of how can America fuck shit up even more than it already has? Why are we even over there?

Crime, and now punishment: So far the Russians are succeeding on all counts. The situation in Syria has stabilized, the Syrian army is on the offensive, and negotiations are underway. Is this why Turkey shot down the Russian jet over Syrian airspace?

Turks shot the Russians cause the Russians were interfering with the stolen oil trade.

In the wake of Turkey’s intentional downing of a Russian jet over Syrian airspace it appears the wrong lessons are being learned. Instead of greater cooperation to fight terrorism, we see the US doubling down on its failed policy. Events are spinning out of control as Syria turns into a battleground for military forces locked on a mutual collision course.

The plot dangerously thickens – with the UK voting to officially join the Syrian conflict, the battlefield and airspace are now precariously crowded. And since the U.S. and its allies are unwilling to cooperate with the Syrian-led coalition, do one and all sides risk miscalculation? Maybe this is what Washington wants…

The Syrian Civil War is a place of cruel realities and western illusions. The only moderate force on the ground is the Syrian Arab Army – fighting for Syria’s sovereign survival. This is unacceptable to the Washington Consensus. For the sake of false pride, is Washington willing to destroy everything in its path?..

Recent claims that the US bombed a Syrian military installation may be a telling example of how Washington and its allies intend to escalate their war on the Syrian regime and NOT against terrorists. It would appear Assad remains target number one.

Differing agendas and competing visions – this is how the Syrian Civil War is being fought today. Washington and its allies continue to pursue a policy focused on desired political outcomes. On the other hand, Russia and its allies target and destroy terrorists. Is working at cross-purposes what keeps this war going?

With two widely differing coalitions and one very complex Civil War, it would appear there is little room for compromise in Syria today. While Russia has called for a united front to fight terrorism in the country, Washington and its allies have very different and often contradictory plans.

After years of bickering and bellicose language, it would appear the major powers might be able to come to an understanding on how to end the Syrian Civil War. Well, that’s according to John Kerry. Moscow is not as convinced as the US Secretary of State. The question remains: can Washington change its thinking about the conflict?

We are warned that Christianity will disappear from Iraq and Syria – places where Christians have lived since the religion began – within one or two generations. Why is the West largely indifferent to the fate of Christians in the Middle East? The forced toppling of secular regimes in the region has been a catastrophe for the followers of Christ.
