MOST DANGEROUS Russian Military Mercenary Troops
    ArmedForcesUpdate

    Published on Jan 31, 2017
A great video of Russian Military mercenary operating around the world. Spetsnaz (Russian: спецназ; IPA: [spʲɪt͡sˈnas]) abbreviation for Войска специального назначения, tr. Voyska spetsialnogo naznacheniya, pronounced [vɐjsˈka spʲɪt͡sɨˈalʲnəvə nəznɐˈt͡ɕenʲɪjə] (English: Special Purpose Forces) is an umbrella term for special forces in Russian. Historically, the term referred to special military units controlled by the military intelligence service GRU (Spetsnaz GRU). It also describes special purpose units, or task forces of other ministries (such as the Ministry of Emergency Situations' special rescue unit)[1] in post-Soviet countries.

    Etymology
The Russian acronyms SPETSNAZ (spetsialnogo naznacheniya) and OSNAZ (osobogo naznacheniya), both meaning "special purpose", are general terms used for a variety of special operations forces (or regular forces assigned to special tasks). They are syllabic abbreviations typical of early Soviet-era Russian, although many Cheka and Internal Troops units (such as OMSDON) used osobogo naznacheniya in their full names.
Spetsnaz later referred to special purpose or special operations forces, and the word's widespread use is a relatively recent, post-perestroika development in Russian language. The Soviet public used to know very little about their country's special forces until many state secrets were disclosed under the glasnost ("openness") policy of Mikhail Gorbachev during the late 1980s. Since then, stories about spetsnaz and their supposedly incredible prowess, from the serious to the highly questionable, have captivated the imagination of patriotic Russians, particularly in the background of the decay in military and security forces during perestroika and the post-Soviet era. A number of books about the Soviet military intelligence special forces, such as 1987's Spetsnaz: The Story Behind the Soviet SAS by defected GRU agent Viktor Suvorov, helped introduce the term to the Western public as well.
In post-Soviet Russia "spetsnaz" became a colloquial term as special operations (spetsoperatsiya), from police raids to military operations in internal conflicts, grew more common. Coverage of these operations, and the celebrity status of special operations forces in state-controlled media, encouraged the public to identify many of these forces by name: SOBR, Alpha, Vityaz, and so forth. The term spetsnaz has also continued to be used in several other post-Soviet states such as Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan for their own special operations forces. In Russia, foreign special operations forces are also known as "spetsnaz" (for example, United States special operations forces would be called "amerikanskiy spetsnaz").

    Timeline
The concept of using special tactics and strategies was originally proposed by Russian military theorist Mikhail Svechnykov (executed during the Great Purge in 1938), who envisaged the development of unconventional warfare capabilities to overcome disadvantages faced by conventional forces in the field. Its implementation was begun by the "grandfather of the spetsnaz", Ilya Starinov.[citation needed]
During World War II, the Red Army reconnaissance and sabotage detachments were formed under the supervision of the Second Department of the General Staff of the Soviet Armed Forces. These forces were subordinate to front commanders.[2] The infamous NKVD internal security and espionage agency also had their own special purpose (osnaz) detachments, including many saboteur teams who were airdropped into enemy-occupied territories to work with (and often take over and lead) the Soviet Partisans.
In 1950, Georgy Zhukov advocated the creation of 46 military spetsnaz companies, each consisting of 120 servicemen. This was the first use of "spetsnaz" to denote a separate military branch since World War II. These companies were later expanded to battalions and then to brigades. However, some separate companies (orSpN) and detachments (ooSpN) existed with brigades until the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
The spetsnaz included fourteen army brigades, two naval brigades and a number of separate detachments and companies, operating under the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) and collectively known as Spetsnaz GRU. These units and formations existed in the highest-possible secrecy, and were disguised as Soviet paratroopers (Army spetsnaz) or naval infantrymen (Naval spetsnaz) by their uniforms and insignia.
Twenty-four years after the birth of Spetsnaz, the first counter-terrorist unit was established by KGB head Yuri Andropov. From the late 1970s through the 1980s, a number of special-purpose units were created in the KGB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD).

SOVIET RED ARMY KALASHNIKOV RIFLE & MACHINE GUN AK-47 TRAINING & INDOCTRINATION FILM 88974
    PeriscopeFilm

    Published on Jan 23, 2017
This Soviet film, made for the indoctrination of Red Army infantry troops, highlights many aspects of marksmanship including the use of the standard issue Kalashnikov rifle AK-47, small arms, and the Kalashnikov machine gun.

Narration: We’ve been doing marksmanship training for many days now. It is difficult. But as Suvorov said, “What is difficult in training will become easy in a battle.” (01.00) The Kalashnikov assault rifle is the powerful and reliable service rifle of the Soviet military. The Kalashnikov works smoothly in any conditions: under the pouring rain, in cold temperatures, in dust. (03.12) Operational characteristics of the rifle: the maximum bullet range is 3,000 m; the casualty producing effect is preserved for up to 1,500 m; the aiming range is 1,000m; the maximum effective range is 400m; a bullet pierces through a brick wall of up to 15 cm; the rate of fire is up to 600 shots a minute; the effective rate of burst fire is up to 100 shots a minute; the effective rate of fire at single-shot fire is up to 40 shots a minute. (03.58) The main parts of the rifle are the barrel with a receiver, a sight, and a stock. (04.20) Other parts are a receiver cover, a breechblock carrier with a breech plug, a breechblock, a recoil spring, a forearm with gas tube assembly, a trigger and firing mechanism, a foregrip, a magazine, a bayonet knife. (04.46) During the battle, a soldier must know the firing techniques. Here are a few of them: firing from a prone position (06.05), from a kneeling position (07.15), from a standing position (07.35). I remember it from school. ‘You’re closing the wrong eye! Don’t breathe when you’re pulling the trigger!’ (09.37) The Kalashnikov hand-held machine gun is the most powerful squad automatic weapon. (12.26) Most of its parts are shared with the modernized variant of the AK-47 rifle. . There are three stages of fire: getting into the position, firing, and ceasing fire. This is the instruction for firing from a prone position. (14.32) Firing it on the move is easy thanks to the simplicity, mobility, and the light weight of the weapon. The next step was learning to find the right spot for firing, keeping watch, choosing an aim. The spot should conceal the soldier from the enemy and be suitable for applying firing techniques. (16.01) Keep an eye on the field, inspect the objects from right to left, first the closer objects than the further ones. It is important to search for targets and shoot quickly. First shoot the most dangerous and important target, then the one that is the closest to you and is the most vulnerable. A moving target should be shot considering the prediction interval, just like while firing at airspace targets. (18.06) Night firing is an ordeal. It is important to sight quickly and lock the target. (18.49) The guys did well, even though it took time to learn. (19.35) Grenades can be of different types, depending on the fragment distribution range. (20.28) Here is the structure of RGD-5, RG-42, and F-1. There are a few positions for throwing a grenade: from a standing position, from a kneeling position, from a prone position. While throwing a grenade, it is important that the rifle is in the position that would provide the ability to grab it and fire immediately. (23.40) A hollow charge grenade RKG-3 is used to fight tanks and other armored targets. Its weight is 1,070 gr, its throwing range is 15-20 m. (24.22) Let’s see how such a grenade should be thrown according to the rules. (25.15). When one is targeting a moving tank, it is necessary to aim a few meters in front of it. (26.15) Not running away, not being afraid means surviving, it means winning against a tank. (26.46) It is not easy to handle small arms, but as Suvorov said, “What is difficult in training will become easy in a battle.” Good luck with your infantry training, comrades.

Putin's Response In 2017 To NATO Invasion In Eastern Europe.
    Odo Puiu info

    Published on Feb 19, 2017
Odo Puiu Info invites you to watch ….
Putin's Response In 2017 To NATO Invasion In Eastern Europe.

The Kremlin will have to respond to NATO's muscle flexing in Eastern Europe and the Baltics because Moscow sees it as a threat, Dr. Martin McCauley, Senior Lecturer at the University of London, told Radio Sputnik, commenting on the Pentagon's latest deployment to the region.

On January 6, 87 Abrams M1A1 tanks, 20 Paladin artillery vehicles and 136 Bradley fighting vehicles arrived in the German port of Bremerhaven. The United States also plans to deploy 50 Black Hawk, 10 CH-47 Chinook and 24 Apache helicopters, as well as 2,200 personnel. The newly-arrived military equipment will be distributed across Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania for training, exercises and maintenance.
"From the point of view of the risk of war [this step] increases it because NATO deploying more troops to the Baltic states and Poland will be seen as a threat by Vladimir Putin and he will respond in kind. He has to respond in kind," the analyst said. "I would expect Russia to in fact take measures to put even more troops near the borders with the Baltic states and perhaps more missiles in the Kaliningrad Region. It's a tit for tat," he explained.

McCauley noted that this was a vicious circle, with both sides forced to increase their military presence in the region so as not to appear weak. NATO has beefed up its military presence in Europe, particularly close to Russia's borders since mid-2014.
McCauley urged Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump to come together and "wind down" these tensions.

"The key thing between Putin and Trump is trust. There is no trust at present between Obama and Putin. They don't respect one another. So therefore the key thing is to develop trust," he said.

NATO Operation Atlantic Resolve–Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania And Romania. Rotate Nine Months.

    Published on Feb 19, 2017
Odo Puiu Info invites you to watch ….
NATO Operation Atlantic Resolve – Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Romania. Rotate Every Nine Months.

Operation Atlantic Resolve are ongoing efforts in response to Russia's actions in Ukraine, mainly the War in Donbass.
It is funded under the European Reassurance Initiative.
All U.S. efforts in support of NATO fall under the umbrella of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
The U.S. took several immediate steps to demonstrate solidarity with NATO, such as augmenting the air, ground and naval presence in the region, and enhancing previously scheduled exercises.
The U.S. is taking measures to enhance NATO military plans and defense capabilities and remains committed to maintaining a persistent presence in Eastern Europe.

    WHAT IS ATLANTIC RESOLVE ?

Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to collective security through a series of actions designed to reassure NATO allies and partners of America's dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region in light of the Russian intervention in Ukraine.

Since April 2014, Army Europe has led land forces efforts on behalf of the U.S. military, by conducting continuous, enhanced multinational training and security cooperation activities with allies and partners in eastern Europe.

These multinational training and security cooperation activities are taking place in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary. These training events improve interoperability, strengthen relationships and trust among allied armies, contribute to regional stability, and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.

Atlantic Resolve demonstrates the U.S. commitment to the security of NATO allies on air, land and at sea. To ensure its own security, NATO must have strong, committed and capable allies, which is why the United States has fought, exercised and trained with our European allies for the past 70 years. The U.S.-European strategic partnership is built on a foundation of shared values, experiences and commitment to a Europe that is stable and prosperous.

Worlds MOST ADVANCED US Military Rail gun in FINAL TESTING
    ArmedForcesUpdate

    Published on Mar 17, 2017
The US military Rail Gun program is expected to start sea trials in 2016 the worst nightmare of the Russian military may be deployed in the near future. A railgun is an electrically powered electromagnetic projectile launcher based on similar principles to the homopolar motor. A railgun comprises a pair of parallel conducting rails, along which a sliding armature is accelerated by the electromagnetic effects of a current that flows down one rail, into the armature and then back along the other rail.[2]

Railguns are being researched as a weapon with a projectile that would use neither explosives nor propellant, but rather rely on electromagnetic forces to achieve a very high kinetic energy. While current kinetic energy penetrators such as an armour-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot can achieve a muzzle velocity on the order of Mach 5, railguns can potentially exceed Mach 10, and thus far exceed conventionally delivered munitions in range and destructive force, with the absence of explosives to store and handle as an additional advantage. Railguns have long existed as experimental technology but the mass, size and cost of the required power supplies have prevented railguns from becoming practical military weapons. However, in recent years, significant efforts have been made towards their development as feasible military technology. For example, in the late 2000s, the U.S. Navy tested a railgun that accelerates a 3.2 kg (7 pound) projectile to hypersonic velocities of approximately 2.4 kilometres per second (8,600 km/h), about Mach 7.[3] They gave the project the Latin motto "Velocitas Eradico", Latin for "I, [who am] speed, eradicate" (in the vernacular usage, "Speed Kills".)

In addition to military applications, NASA has proposed to use a railgun from a high-altitude aircraft to fire a small payload into orbit;[4] however, the extreme g-forces involved would necessarily restrict the usage to only the sturdiest of payloads.

    Basics
In its simplest (and most commonly used) form, the railgun differs from a traditional electric motor [5] in that no use is made of additional field windings (or permanent magnets). This basic configuration is formed by a single loop of current and thus requires high currents (e.g. of order 106 ampere) to produce sufficient accelerations (and muzzle velocities). A relatively common variant of this configuration is the augmented railgun in which the driving current is channelled through additional pairs of parallel conductors, arranged to increase ("augment") the magnetic field experienced by the moving armature.[6] These arrangements reduce the current required for a given acceleration. In electric motor terminology, augmented railguns are usually series-wound configurations.

The armature may be an integral part of the projectile, but it may also be configured to accelerate a separate, electrically isolated or non-conducting projectile. Solid, metallic sliding conductors are often the preferred form of railgun armature but "plasma" or "hybrid" armatures can also be used.[7] A plasma armature is formed by an arc of ionised gas that is used to push a solid, non-conducting payload in a similar manner to the propellant gas pressure in a conventional gun. A hybrid armature uses a pair of "plasma" contacts to interface a metallic armature to the gun rails. Solid armatures may also "transition" into hybrid armatures, typically after a particular velocity threshold is exceeded.

A railgun requires a pulsed, direct current power supply.[8] For potential military applications, railguns are usually of interest because they can achieve much greater muzzle velocities than guns powered by conventional chemical propellants. Increased muzzle velocities can convey the benefits of increased firing ranges while, in terms of target effects, increased terminal velocities can allow the use of kinetic energy rounds as replacements for explosive shells. Therefore, typical military railgun designs aim for muzzle velocities in the range of 2000–3500 m/s with muzzle energies of 5–50 MJ. For comparison, 50MJ is equivalent to the kinetic energy of a school bus weighing 5 metric tons, travelling at 509 km/h (316 mph).[9] For single loop railguns, these mission requirements require launch currents of a few million amperes, so a typical railgun power supply might be designed to deliver a launch current of 5 MA for a few milliseconds. As the magnetic field strengths required for such launches will typically be approximately 10 tesla, most contemporary railgun designs are effectively "air-cored", i.e. they do not use ferromagnetic materials such as iron to enhance the magnetic flux.

It may be noted that railgun velocities generally fall within the range of those achievable by two-stage light-gas guns; however, the latter are generally only considered to be suitable for laboratory use while railguns are judged to offer some potential prospects for development as military weapons.
