CzechPoint Sa vz. 61 Skorpion Range Review

Czech it out! It's the new, threaded barrel version of CzechPoint's Sa vz. 61 Skorpion made by Czech Small Arms. This .32 ACP (7.65mm Browning Short) machine pistol is fairly true to the original, but with the addition of a 1/2x28 threaded barrel for use with a suppressor. The silencer here is the Dead Air Wolf-9SD.

They were dumping these a few years ago for $399 with no suppressor or folding stock. There is another video that details how the wire folding stock is pretty useless as it affects accuracy. I don't think this pistol is worth > $500 new.

I never bought one because the .32 ammo isn't cheap. I was looking at a PPS-43 also, but never pulled the trigger even though they were similarly priced in Mak or slightly more in 9mm.

There is also a modern Scorpion around $800 that is very nice. Again, I would only consider it in 9mm with an arm brace or SBR.

You can still buy original Skorpion parts kits for < $200.
