You beat me to it. I took advantage of that one. An ASE for under 20 bucks is still a great deal IMHO

Sorry for my ignorance, but why are the 2016 ASE priced under the 2017s? Based on my limited experience, I would have expected the opposite.

Got shipped a fake 1/4 Gold Eagle from someone on Ebay. Any chance I'll be able to get my money back? Any suggestions on how to approach this? I've been buying off Ebay for almost a decade and I've never had this issue.

Please start a thread on that Tyler,

certainly some have been thru it before, as other threads have popped up such as yours.

    what a drag

years ago I used to pick up some stuff off there, and now only stick to high rep dealers for that exact reason. Too many people were getting screwed by phonies.

Oops, I meant to post this on the Ebay deals thread as I figured some on that thread may have experience. Can I post my request there or just start a new thread?

Beats me, could be excess inventory. Perhaps one of the really smart bullion people here can answer that question for you. The key for me was the number....under 20 bucks an ounce for silver eagles is a target price for me. The volatility in current events makes me think anything can happen soon and most of it good for metals.

Sweet deal from Provident metals today. I haven't ordered from their outfit in over a year and today upon checking my emails, that changed.

The email was titled "baby come back" and came complete with a one time coupon code for 20 bills off any order over 100.

I wanted to maximize the savings per oz of silver so I placed an order for 5 of the incuse rounds which came to 100.50.

Applied the coupon for a grand tally of 80.50 shipped or 16.10 per oz troy. Going on 5 years stacking and this marks the first time I've ever bought under spot. A nice little nibble at 2.40 under made an already nice b'day a bit better.

    score!

That's a solid deal. I looked around before I bought & 21.67 was the cheapest I found. Throw in another .50 for the capsules & you're over 22.00 per. Btw,why the hell are coin capsules so expensive? There's gotta be less than .02 of plastic in each unit.

There's not even that much. I bet 10 units actually cost a penny ... it's not about that... those capsules are made to hold coins made of gold that cost over $1,200 each. That in mind, they will charge $2 or more each, because that how it works.

Why ones the starter solo for a pontoon boat cost like $210?

    It's a boat. It's a luxury item, a $20,000 toy. Prepare to pay.

Energy, equipment, materials, transport, storage, advertising, facility, packaging, employees, insurance, etc.

The cost of the products material can often be the least expensive per unit.

DYDD. Hard for me to understand how or why they would be doing this. Most any dealer could buy 100 of these at this price and turn around an instantly flip them to another dealer for $1000 profit. I don't mean to be a killjoy, but if something seems too good to be true...
