Hey all I just wanted to say hello. Looks like this site has a lot to offer. I'm currently enrolled in an accounting program for my associates degree. I got into stacking silver and gold, collecting a little, a few months ago. I think its an excellent way to build my wealth, much better than sitting my money in the bank. Anyone from the area say hello. :cheerful:

Welcome, sounds like you're on the right path. What kind of boat do you have?

I sense sarcasm. You think I'm throwing my money down a hole? Those buying boats are throwing their money away…? I do live near Newfound Lake but just own a kayak :party30:

Nah, boating is a fine hobby! Trouble is, most of us here are rather bad at it: lots of capsizing and outright sinkings. We also have a bad habit of setting sail with lots of metals and other valuables on board.

A kayak is fine for now while your just getting started. But if you ever want to lose a lot of valuables, you're going to need something bigger.

(it's a bit of a running gag around here; you'll find all sorts of references to "tragic boating accidents" and other unfortunate events. :cool1:)

:lol04:.....his post was not sarcasm......you will hear a lot about boats sinking on here.....

and these "ole coots" on here are a wealth of knowledge .......but developing a thick skin is a must cause there is not much politically correct conversation going on around here

Just yesterday they voted down recreational marijuana though

...and I haven't capsized my kayak yet but I also just hopped aboard and in for the long haul
