Yup, a bit pricey for the bullion people but low mintage. 1st one in 5 years
Never mind....sold out in 3 minutes
75,000 mintage with NO household limit? It never stood a chance....
Although the max quantity per order appears to really have been 100, as online orders over 100 had the quantities reset to 100 as the ordering process continued.
Yup but phone CC orders are limited at $25,000....and you can phone before 12noon and get the order placed at 1200:01
Silver coins don't do so well in South Florida's humidity. Anything in gem condition should be gold down here.
You would have thought the mint could see this coming. The ASE is immensely popular and this is an instant low pop coin. Even without fanfare and kept under the radar you can bet some of the market big boys took advantage of the fact that there was no household limit. I'll bet that there were several 1000+ orders placed cumulatively by the big boys. The graders are going to profit handsomely as well.
($25,000 - $4.95 )/ $54.95 = 454.8 coins. Can you ship 454 coins for $4.95?
I'm sure almost no phone orders got completed. Besides there's always a wire transfer (no $ limit). But I'm sure you had to set that up ahead of time as you're not completing that in less than 3 minutes.
Website limits an online order to 100 coins max. Dealers have a bulk purchase agreement approved in advance and have a different route to purchase.
