I wish this would catch on to College Sports. I am tired of all the Wisconsin Fans jamming up the light rail when they come to pummel the Gophers.

And you don't have to all jam into one car, you can spread your joy over the whole length of the train.

Actually, the Wisconsin fans are cool enough. It's those Nebraska "Corn Huskers" that get carried away.

Makes me laugh when people act like college is better. Same thugs just pre-bloated-contract, but most of them know they're going to get paid so they act accordingly asking the college to bend over and such.

Ah, you're just a Pig Skin Hater goldiel. Far more good kids playing at the college level due to shear numbers.

But I think the NCAA and Colleges ought to allow a significant stipend for ALL Athletes and some for Cheer and Band.
Every other "scholarship" student can Intern and/ or work in their field of learning during the semester and in Summer Break with no problems. Athletes can not.
A basketballer can play one pick-up game will the wrong people. The people give him a shirt to wear while playing and the NCAA considers him a Pro and yanks his scholarship.
Another basketballer had a relative die. The Player asked to go to the funeral, went and came back A.S.A.P. BUT IT WAS FOUND OUT the rental car was not paid for by the family. NCAA Rules Committee wanted him suspended for the year. But a hearing knocked it down to 4 games.

You can find WRONG where ever you look.

As a Pats fan (a fan of their work but not keeping track these days nearly as much) I can appreciate how the Bungles fans feel, having gone through the Pat Sullivan owned days from the 60's onward however; I also cannot imagine the dull ache they must feel from enduring that environment for as long as they have!

Birth Defect has a couple more coming to him too. He cheap shots everybody. Did you see Bell tightrope right past 2 Bungles for a 33-yd TD. Then there was the hit by Vince Williams too.

tough choice -- happy meal or nfl tickets? buffalo boycotters are strong

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...an-nfl-game-this-week-for-under-five-dollars/

LOOK: You can get tickets to an NFL game this week for under five dollars

Just in time for the holidays, you can get NFL tickets at rock-bottom prices

Stubhub has some better seats that you can pick up for the low, low price of just $10. If you want end zone seats that are just six rows away from the field, you can purchase them for just $10.

    indy boycotters strong

    https://www.indystar.com/story/spor...-game-tickets-jaw-droppingly-cheap/928947001/

These remaining Colts game tickets are jaw-droppingly cheap

Four games remain in what many fans surely hope is a forgettable Indianapolis Colts season, and ticket prices have plummeted. Not counting taxes and fees, some seats for three of those four games are listed at $6 on StubHub. On VividSeats, prices for the Colts game in Buffalo on Sunday start at $4 and the season finale against the Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium will set you back just $5.

Similar prices exist on other seller sites, with SeatGeek selling tickets for $7 for the Colts' Thursday night home matchup against the Denver Broncos. Choosing to buy local on Circle City Tickets, you'll only be asked to spend a quarter and three pennies more.

I guess we'll find out as their salary is partly based upon receipts

"In the early days, the NFL's salary cap was based off its gross revenue, which included money earned from national television contracts, ticket sales and merchandise sales. In 2006, the cap included such things as naming rights for stadiums, sales of premium seats and local advertising. As of 2014, the cap includes all streams of revenue. The calculation is based on a complicated formula, which often changes with each collective bargaining agreement between the players and the league. Teams must comply with the cap before the first day of the league year"

You know the two minute warning on what will be left of the NFL will be when all of the various sporting goods resellers start having fire sales on NFL jerseys, etc., at that point start investing in developers who will be gutting and rebuilding all that pricey stadium square footage.

NFL HELL: Multiple Stadiums Plagued By Empty Seats Woes In Week 14 (PHOTOS)
December 10, 2017 by Joshua Caplan 123 Comments
NFL stadium attendance continues to suffer as the backlash from players protesting the National Anthem extends into week 14. Fans from across the league are sharing photos of empty seats at kickoff and well into the first quarter this Sunday.

Prompted by poor attendance, the teams like the Buffalo Bills are selling tickets at rock bottom prices.

DANGER=> NFL Ticket Prices Hit Rock Bottom As National Anthem Protest Backlash Extends Into Week 14
December 10, 2017 by Joshua Caplan 58 Comments
Still reeling from a monster backlash over players protesting the National Anthem, NFL ticket prices are dropping to new, dramatic lows. If you wanted to check out the Indianapolis Colts vs. Buffalo Bills game at New Era Field this Sunday, $2 would do the trick. Yes, you read that correctly. Just two measly dollars.

A ticket costs less than a beer at the Indianapolis Colts vs. Buffalo Bills game this Sunday.

    The Blaze reports:

According to Vivid Seats, a ticket reselling website, tickets for Sunday’s matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts sold for as little as $2. (Yes, you read that right.) Even the stadium’s best seats — in the lower part of the stadium near the 50-yard-line — were selling for just $29. […]

“Meanwhile, Fox Sports was forced to advertise to find “fans” — or even actors — to fill seats for its pre-game broadcast for the L.A. Rams game, something that is ordinarily easy to do,” reported Warner Todd Huston of Breitbart News.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the casting call asked actors to “Come out, bring your spirit, your best NFL gear & join us for NFL on Fox this Sunday!”

Not only are tickets going for cheap at some games, but this Thursday’s television ratings show yet another decline, says The Hollywood Reporter. The overnight score shows a 14 percent drop compared to last season.

Nevermind 10 btc, if things continue the way they're going for the NFL and they continue to worship CQ's "citizen of the year" then a ticket may soon cost < 10k satoshis(currently $1.64).

Just look at all the stupid awards that the agenda driven "press" has steeped on this doorknob.

IMHO, NFL TV ratings are down because of: 1) Online streaming that is not reflected in TV ratings, 2) the younger generations that are more interested in video games and various other forms of entertainment, 3) middle-aged and older patriots that are reacting to the National Anthem thing, and 4) the product increasingly sucks where it takes 3.5 hours to play an actual 1 hour of football due to commercials, penalties, poor play and poor officiating etc..

Real football is meant to be played outdoors on real grass regardless of the weather, not in domes with fake plastic grass and fake rubber dirt...like this game in Buffalo last Sunday:

Always appreciate your perspective, but somewhat disagree. Tons of folks like myself have just given up the sport. We used to enjoy taking a few hours out of our week to get away from the stresses of real life and watch a sport that we played in high school or whatever. Guys like us just dont want the alt-left political protests thrust upon us when we are trying to take a break from all the bullshit. I have plenty of other things I enjoy doing with my time.
