So are you bringing in faucets to a scrap yard and getting Bitcoin money for the brass SA?
See my thread titled "Converting free bitcoin into physical silver (no frns needed)" that is located in the digital currencies forum of GIM2. The faucets that I am referring to are the bitcoin faucets that you can get free bitcoin from. I use that free bitcoin to buy physical silver from Provident Metals since they accept bitcoin as payment.
Went through the process the other day of being registered as a veteran at Provident. Not too tough, so this afternoon I made a purchase, very easy.
The only issue is that you must make your order during business hours, my past orders I think have always been late at night or early in the morning or on the weekend. But the savings should be worth it.
Having to talk to a live body to get the VA discount is my only issue with Provident also Kentucky, other than that it's 5 starts especially since I can echeck now also. I've been sticking with the prospectors lately. Attractive design, popular with the rank and file, 60 cents or so over spot and the buy back spread is the same as the ASE's but $2 cheaper.
I'm glad the VA discount is working out for you guys. Shameful that other dealers haven't jumped on board with it to be quite honest.
I tried the echeck thing also for the first time. I have always mailed a check, so hope it works well. I picked up a prospector to have a look at one. Also broke down and bought one of those privy Maples with the tank on it, early birthday shopping for my son the Tanker. I'm collecting the 2 oz Pirate series, so got the new one "walking the plank" lol.
Tell the truth, louky, surprised they are offering it. The pm business seems to be pretty tough on the margins. If someone here hadn't mentioned it a while ago, I wouldn't know about it. In fact, I didn't follow through to sign up until when Mr. Paradice did it and posted about it, thought I'd give it a shot.
I will say I have always liked purchasing everywhere without human interaction, in fact I got kind of a phobia about it. But the people I talked with a Provident, both the lady who helped me sign up and the first lady who took my order were super polite and all business, no upselll etc. Great experience so far.
I'm the one who discovered and shared that little nugget
Nice hidden gem, from the depths of reddit
Kind of strange their CEO Joe would divulge it there of all places
Still don't find it mentioned on their site now, a year later from when he posted. Though he did mention stolen valor originally as the reason they don't advertise it.
Joe's cousin is a SEAL, so yeah, it's just them paying back out of respect. No funny business.
Another pro tip on VA discount. The easiest way is to load your cart on their website. Then you call them after. From there they can simply view your cart to place the order.
Thank you louky, I couldn't remember who informed me. When Mr. Paradise brought it up again I thought I'd take a shot.
It's not on the site as far as I know, and yes, the rules seem to be very stringent, and I don't blame them.
That is the exact procedure I followed. My cart emptied before my eyes as she processed the order.
sold my first order to provident last week and everything went through without a hitch, they were the best pricing around and they wired the money the day after tgey received the goods
Purchased Paypal, order of container with containers in it, from China last weekend.
Arrived on tuesday like lightning.
Came with 2 lollipops, fridge magnet, and advertising as well.
I do not touch corn syrup candy, or anything with such poison, fridge is blank as should be, and no way
am I going to be influenced to buy specialty rounds, like 90's baseball cards they are... far to many.
Nice effort, wasted upon me personally.
Also adds to business's cost which traditionally is placed upon... yep you guessed it.
Remark value only, not bitchn.
Will request no add-ons next purchase.
I don't mind the free t-shirt they send with my orders.
Had my first problem order with Provident ever after multiple successful orders. Received a pretty ratty new coin. They made me jump through a lot more hoops than I would have liked considering the business I've thrown their way. Did finally get a label to return it though.
Also have yet to receive a free t-shirt despite some pretty big orders.
The Omaha steak I got last time was excellent.
Man you guys get all the good stuff!
"You Bastard !" - South Park, ha!
I do not wear any logo clothes, or I pick the stitched embroidery from top Q garments, F - 'em.
Secondly, awareness is increasing in my locality in regards to metals and just like no logo...
I'd say you loco with target on back, or front, or both.
None the less sweet bonus, if it is 100% cotton long sleeved for solar UVA/UVB protection SPF8.
Gotta live long enough for these metals to catch up to inflation, right?
1) Wear it as a night shirt or
2) use it to pick up gold digger chicks.
I use give away t shirts as shop rags.
Got my replacement coin in the mail. It was in good shape. They were nice enough to put it in a capsule but of course I wanted to inspect the coin so capsule was scratched up prying it open and is now in the trash. Would have preferred they throw the capsule in the box without loading the coin.
The premium on the prospectors bumped up 10 cents. :-(
Ordered for giftmas Kooks since the Krugs have failed.
Arrived quickly, well packed, and ready for wrapping.
They were selling them for lowest or close to lowest price.
I dare say I like the look of the Koalas better this year '17 as a horizon is in the background.
Kooks are on a "Fennccce innnn SssPaaaccce" - set to "Pigs in Space" - Muppets
How is selling to Provident? Looking for a replacement for Bullion Direct's Nucleo, which is where I had been making all may sales.
eBay just got too expensive, but still an option. Premiums are good but then costs are about 10%.
Only bought...never sold to them. Buys were good though. I would not be afraid to sell to them if I needed.
Order done in a week literally, and I live across the country.
Mailed in USPS money order payment on saturday 7th.
Order received to PO Box saturday morning the 14th
Double box packaging thank god, as there was puncture hole in outer box.
All of order was A+
Yeah, my kangaroos were shipped double box, plus a large hard plastic case. It was heavy enough I thought they might have accidentally shipped some silver.
Ordered on the 3rd... label printed on the 9th late afternoon, which probably means it will leave tomorrow the 10th. Provident has been good in the past but 7 days to ship is unacceptable in my opinion. They must be having some high volume right now.
JM clears bitcoin payments immediately and it is shipped out the same day. Get your act together Provident!
In the past couple months I've dumped off around $30k worth of stuff to them, every order was logged as soon as they received it and payout has usually been same day as they receive but the last few orders they used their specified 1-3 day payout and paid me on the 2nd or 3rd day
Separate names with a comma.
