One tip to avoid Craftsman Chainsaw from bogging down
    JOE Z

    Published on Feb 25, 2017
The carburetor on this Craftsman chainsaw was cleaned out last year along with changing the fuel lines & filter. It was running & cutting great until it just started to bog down. The cause, the fuel filter fell off & caused the carburetor to clog again. Just a quick check when fueling would have prevented this.

These videos are for family friends & anyone who may find them entertaining or useful Some are just for fun others are “DIY” The DIYs are how I got er done not necessarily how professionals may go about it Although you may find some methods useful JoeZ in no way is giving instructions on how you should go about getting er done JoeZ assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video JoeZ always recommends checking owners manual and safe practices when working with engines power tools hand tools lifting tools jack stands electrical equipment blunt instruments chemicals lubricants or any other tools or equipment seen or implied in this video Due to factors beyond my control no information contained in this video shall create any express or implied warranty or guarantee of any particular result Any injury, damage or loss that may result from improper use of these tools equipment or the information contained in this video is the sole responsibility of the user and not JoeZ.

    Chainsaw Carburetor Rebuild DIY

    Published on Feb 27, 2017
Get a Husqvarna 372xp Carb rebuild kit here http://amzn.to/2mtsAdI

Today we are working on my Husqvarna 372xp Chainsaw, it's been having some carburetor issues. When it's warm it tends to stall out instead of idle. I don't know the history of this carb so I decided to rebuild it and go from there. The carburetor is a walbro on this Husqvarna 372xp chainsaw a rebuild kit is relativitly cheap and so is a new carb depending on what route you are going. However after the rebuild and some fine tuning the chainsaw has been running great.

Husqvarna 359 vs Stihl 660 chainsaw chain tension
    KimballCody

    Published on Feb 23, 2017
How I set the tension on my chainsaws.

Every chainsaw, bar and chain combination will react differently when setting them up. New chains will stretch, new bars will also break in and old bars will all have their own personality.

These are just a few tips on how I set my chainsaw bars/chains up. The finished product might be too tight for some applications but I've found that I get good service out of them.

Disclaimer: ladies and gents, this is a CHAINSAW, working with, building and fiddling with these can KILL YOU, I am not and will not be responsible for improper technique or accidents even remotely relating to this video, please view for entertainment purposes only.

Look up Hutzl.net for the saw kits themselves

Check out Walt's channel ... AFLEETCOMMAND here on youtube

This is part 4 of the ms660 clone bolt for bolt assembly series

I will eventually have an addendum video which I will encourage you to check out FIRST, before seeing the rest of my 660 vids.

I will update this page as needed.

    Hyway handlebar:
    http://www.hlsproparts.com/Stihl-064-...

This is the first saw in the series. I will take this saw to fully built, as well as others including husqvarna 372 clone, and stihl's ms440 and 360's.

Best way to support my channel is to click on the link above for HL supply when you need aftermarket parts for your saws.

Final thoughts, tips, tricks and notes:

Note the depth of the aftermarket crank seals before you remove them.
Put the gas tank on after the cylinder head is seated.
Don’t forget the av rubber bumper underneath, it goes on with an m4 bolt.
Install the clutch, chain adjuster and cover, bar studs and dogs towards the end of the build.
I happened to be missing m4 screws for the oiler cover. Nice to have an extra assortment of m4 and m5 screws to help.
Check the piston skirt clearance of the crank lobes, as well as the gasket clearance. That narrower oem gasket seen in the oem gasket kit may be for big bore cylinder heads.
Don’t attach the clutch before the pressure test.
After the cylinder is seated, attach the impulse line and leave it attached for the pressure test. No need to remove it and use a different line like I did.
Was I missing a part? Switch shaft support 1122 182 2100? My on/off switch was loosey goosey.

    Parts to buy:
    Top 3:
    Oem gasket kit
M10x1.0 RH tap and M12x1.0 LH tap for pulling the crank through the bearings.
    Oem wristpin, bearing, circlips.
    Other stuff:
    Oem chain tensioner
    Hyway top handle
Muffler with spark screen (if you need this)
    Oem carburetor and impulse line
Oem clutch drum (if the supplied one is out of round)
Husqvarna decomp valve (doesn’t pop quite as easy at the Stihl)
    Bar and chain 3003 mount
    NGK sparkplug BPMR7A

    Goop:
Threebond 1184 and Loctite 518 and Loctite threadlocker red and blue.

WHY ARE WE STILL USING TORCHES / HEAT GUNS TO ASSEMBLE CHAINSAWS??? lets make the right tools, cheaply and easily and have an ideal setup for putting saws together.

Just a quick set of cuts..was out doing a "test & tune" afternoon. There seems to be interest in these so I short cut the process and let this out...more in depth video's comparing the performance are in edit mode right now...And if you like the "Farmer Jones" Farmertec 54mm build, your going to love the FJ 56mm version..

Farmertec 660 "Farmer Jones" build...a little rude and crude but RUNS!
    afleetcommand

    Published on Mar 3, 2017
    Covered:
Using a Wood Stove to get the cases/crank together.
A blow torch to do a muffle mod
A cheesy Tractor Supply Die Grinder to hack the cylinder a bit..:)

ALL thing "Farmer Jones" would do in the shop where the old
    Ford 9N's are fixed...:)

    Basically a simple tools build

The "Boss" on the flywheel side of the crank, on the crank counter balance is too big to clear the case when the crank is centered....this was the first one I've seen like that...hoping its not a trend. Easy fix though, but might want to check before committing to the case assembly.

    CMI Rope Jack: Unboxing/Overview/First Impressions
    Human

    Published on Mar 11, 2017
The CMI RopeJack is a mechanical advantage tool for quickly and easily pre-tensioning static lines, light lifting, and cabling. The RopeJack is small and light enough to be carried aloft by a climber, and the length of the handle on the RopeJack limits excessive loading in order to avoid rope damage. The CMI RopeJack is used to remove slack and stretch for lowering and to lift the tips on light limbs without having to break out the big guns. Simply attach both ascenders to your line and crank away to tighten a static line or climb a rope.
