How2wrench Product Review: LED work light on folding tripod stand
    Shane Conley

    Published on Dec 25, 2016
Illuminator LED Work Light on a tripod stand. I bought mine at a local Bomgaars store for $79.99 on sale. Here is the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/PROTOCOL-Equip...
I love that the light mount can be removed and used as a floor or bench mount. Think about working under your vehicle or hanging from a ceiling.

    Rating I give: 1-10 (1= poor 10= outstanding) stars.
    Quality: 10
    Price Point: 10
    Ease of repair: Unknown
Assembly: 9 (Caution with small handle screws. They want to strip easily.)

Do you have questions or are looking for one on one mentorship on a project? Email me for info @ how2wrench@gmail.com

Feel free to share if you like it or know someone this lesson will benefit.

Ingersoll Rand IQV12 Series R1120 1/4" Ratchet Wrench Review
    WorkshopAddict

    Published on Dec 26, 2016
Price the Ingersoll Rand IQV12 Series R1120 1/4" Ratchet on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2i6wx9d
IR Build Quality - If you are a guy who appreciates top shelf quality, Ingersoll Rand has a line of 12 volt tools designed for the mechanic or automotive enthusiast looking for the best. Just like that 1969 Camaro RS SS that looks so good in the shop but performs on the strip, these 12 volt tools have a polished aluminum housing that shows attention to detail, but when you pull the trigger, you know this tool is all about business. This tool was designed to be in your hand all day, get into tight places and perform like no other tool.

The long term design of this tool shows. The metal housing rather than a plastic housing is just the tip of the iceberg. There is no rubber over mold to peel off in time. The comfort of the tool and grip is not in need of rubber to make it comfortable. The battery connection is tight. The variable speed trigger can easily be controlled, even with thick gloves. The design is genius and the tool was meant to help mechanics get a job done faster with reliability.

    Features

Strong, polished aluminum housing withstands manual ratcheting and resists wear, impact and chemical damage
Feather-touch, variable-speed paddle trigger allows a variety of different grip techniques
Compact and durable motor delivers up to 30 ft-lb of torque — with the ability to handle additional manual torquing
Speeds are variable from 0-260 rpm
All-metal gear train for long life and durability
    Purchase options

    R1120-K1 1/4' Ratchet Kit: Includes (1) R1120 Ratchet, (1) BL1203 12V Lithium-Ion Battery, (1) IQ BC1110 Charger & (1) Shop Bag

R1120 Standard 1/4' Ratchet: Includes the bare tool only. Does not include a battery or a charger

Who Needs a Battery Operated Ratchet?

While Ingersoll Rand designs their tools for mechanics, they serve a full range of people who demand quality. A 1/4" battery operated ratchet really saves time in our shop because all of the new side by sides, snowmobiles, cars, tractors and even excavation equipment have small bolts holding in trim or computers. All of these areas need to be removed before repairing most of them. Since this tool does not have an air hose attached, it is able to get into areas where air ratchets cannot. I have put this unit right inside the dash of our Ford F350 and removed the HVAC items needed. There is no way one could have had a hose connected and have finished that job with a powered ratchet.

These ratchets are a time saver in tight spaces. Trying to sweep a small ratchet, stay on a tiny bolt and not get cut to pieces by sharp stamped metal is nearly impossible in today's vehicles. This tool allows one to get on a fastener and hold the tool in place while the tool spins. no need to move the tool or try to find more room for a ratchet to sweep.

Ingersoll Rand has plenty more 12 volt tools and we have been using them and will bring you a solid review of them over time. We spend a lot of time with each of these tools and Ingersoll Rand stands out as a brand who has spent a lot of time designing the tool before it hits the market.

    Best Torch For The Money!
    Jursaw

    Published on Dec 26, 2016
This is my favorite torch out of many I have tried! I used the matco one which I did not like because you have to turn and push the igniter and others have many cons to them. I said in the video that I used the blazer (blue) torch for 6 months but I checked my purchase date and it has been over a year and still working like new!

If you are interested in vinyl designs, please feel free to contact me at lospatoslocos@live.com for any orders or questions!

Help me out by using these amazon links provided for the tools in the video! These are the same prices as if you were to search for these items yourself but if you use my links, you help me out a bunch!
