Spike Lee should finance and direct his own movie and put Krapernick in it as the star. Watch how he would lose his ass.

Fire chief RESIGNS after calling Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin a 'no good N*****' when his team stayed in the locker room during the national anthem
    • Paul 'Smitty' Smith of Muse, Pennsylvania, was responding to an article about the Steelers staying in the locker room before Sunday's game in Chicago
    • All but one of Pittsburgh's players - offensive tackle and Army veteran Alejandro Villanueva - remained in the tunnel rather than stand for the national anthem
    • Township Board of Supervisors condemned Smith's comments
    • Chief Smith has now resigned, saying: 'My fire department should have never been dragged into this'

    It's the Russians.............

Senator claims Russian 'troll farms' are stoking NFL debate to 'push divisiveness' and make it seem a bigger issue than it actually is
    • President Trump declared Friday that NFL players who refused to stand during the national anthem were 'sons of b***hes' and should be fired
    • Since then, the hashtags #TakeAKnee and #BoycottNFL have been trending
    • Hundreds of sports stars, celebrities and everyday people have been sharing photos of themselves kneeling in solidarity
    • Now Sen. James Lankford, of Oklahoma, has claimed that Russian trolls have been stoking the NFL debate to rile up divisiveness
    • He said they have been sharing the hashtags 'take a knee' and 'boycott NFL' to amplify the issue and spread discord
    • 'They were taking both sides of the argument... to try to raise the noise level of America and make a big issue seem like an even bigger issue,' he said
    • Facebook acknowledged hundreds of fake accounts, probably run from Russia, spent about $100,000 on ads aimed at stoking divisive issues like race relations

Green Bay Packers ask FANS to link arms during the national anthem before Thursday night's game
    • The Packers ask fans to link arms during the national anthem on Thursday night
    • In a statement released to their website they said the whole team, and all coaches will be doing the same
    • The team said they hope doing so will represent a coming together of people who all want equality
    • The statement comes less than a week after Donald Trump called NFL players who kneel during the anthem 'sons of b******'
    • On Sunday more than 200 NFL players protested the anthem in some way

Doesn't standing for the National Anthem, like everyone has been doing, accomplish that? They are trying to put the focus/ pressure on the fans now. Big mistake if you ask me.

Heard but NOT seen: Why are NFL fans not being seen on TV booing players' national anthem protests?
    • Fans could be heard booing at various NFL games, but television broadcasts mostly relegated those spectators to the background if they showed them at all
    • One 'behind-the-scenes TV staffer' claimed camera operators were instructed to not shoot any jeering spectators during Week 3
    • NFL spokesman calls accusation 'fake news,' adding that the league 'did not have conversations with the networks about how to cover the anthems'
    • CBS spokesman said there was 'no directive given to not show the fans'
    • President Donald Trump claimed the boos directed at the protesting Dallas Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones were the 'loudest' he had ever heard

    • Lewis had criticized former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, who started started the protests in 2016 to raise awareness of police violence against minorities

Packers and Bears ALL stand for anthem and link arms in 'show of love and unity' after asking fans to join in - but divided crowd responds with American flags and anti-NFL protest signs
    • The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears linked arms in their separate teams at Thursday night's game
    • The Packers had asked fans earlier in the day to do the same as a 'unified show of freedom and equality'
    • Some football fans joined in and linked arms in the stands as the National Anthem was sung
    • Others resisted and placed their hands on their hearts, the traditional gesture, while others held flags
    • Many held signs complaining about the protests which have spread across the NFL in the last week
    • None of the players took a knee during the National Anthem which has become a symbol of protest against President Trump

Not sure how many people left who care about the NFL. I'll bet people will find other things to do on Sundays than watch 2 hours and 45 minutes of truck commercials and 11 minutes of moving the ball up and down the field. Sorry guys(NFL), you're simply not as critical to the average American than you thought.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers donated tickets to local police amidst growing controversy over player protests during the national anthem
    • Rodgers typically hides tickets for fans to find in and around the Green Bay area
    • The Packers invited fans to stand on Thursday and lock arms as a show of unity
    • Most fans did not lock arms, instead choosing to put a hand over their heart
    • Wisconsin congressman Sean Duffy: '[The Packers] will get us to stand outside in 10 degree weather, but they won't get us to disrespect our flag'
    • Players began demonstrating in 2016 after then-49ers QB Colin Kaepernick knelt during a preseason game to protest police brutality against minorities

Protest and pay! NBA sends memo to all 30 teams warning players they MUST stand for national anthem or face discipline - but says they may give a pregame 'message of unity' if they wish
    • The National Basketball Association sent a memo late Friday to all 30 teams
    • The league told players to stand for the national anthem 'with no exceptions'
    • Memo suggests teams make an effort in their first home game to address the current political climate by having players and coaches address their fans

'It speaks volumes': South Carolina women's basketball coach says Trump has ignored tradition and not invited her college championship winning team to White House
    • Dawn Staley and her champion South Carolina Gamecocks are still waiting for their invite to the White House
    • 'We haven't gotten an invitation yet and that in itself speaks volumes,' the women's basketball coach said
    • Staley said she isn't even sure her team, which won the NCAA women's basketball title in April, would go now if invited
    • Every previous NCAA women's basketball champion since 1983 has been invited to the White House, spanning five different presidents

It's about time we start putting these feminazis in their place! You may not like Trump but you have to admit, he's an entertaining guy and he cares not who he offends or pisses off. I like that in a POTUS! I don't know, after 8 years of constantly being pissed off by King Negro and his communist minions Trump has been a refreshing change

We at least took a step in the right direction last election.

Do you not agree that we dodged a huge bullet in whatsherface not being elected? Not having Trump as POTUS means we would have her as POTUS. You don't honestly think we'd be better off with her, do you? We'd have Al Gore on the Supreme Court right now, and two more Justices replaced who had been planning on retiring had she gotten elected.

Had that woman won, we'd have been well and truly f'ed for at least another whole generation. Perhaps forever.

As it stands now, we have a good chance of setting the Court up for most rulings to be on the Conservative side for years, if not decades, to come. That way if another Obozo-type gets elected who wants to fundamentally change America, they won't be able to. At least not nearly as easily had the Court been packed with liberals.

Defiant NFL players continue to kneel while others raise their fists hours after Trump warned them to stand for the national anthem - as Colin Kaepernick is seen wearing a shirt with a pointed message
    • Some NFL players continued to kneel during the national anthem on Sunday
    • It came less than 24 hours after President Trump issued a fresh demand Saturday night calling for players to stand
    • This week's protests came as Colin Kaepernick was spotted strolling through in New York wearing a 'Me Against The World' t-shirt
    • Last week more than 100 players and some owners and coaches took to their knees during the The Star-Spangled Banner following Trump's tweets

Sports fans are victims of "knee" protest
    • By Edward Jay Goldberg

Let us set the record straight from the beginning: This is not an article about politics, race or political correctness. This is an article about victims.

Victims, you ask; who are the victims? I am glad that you asked. The victims are the many loyal and casual sports fans who purchase tickets to events, contests, games at very high prices and then are exposed to issues that have absolutely nothing to do with the event at hand.

Let us get another thing straight: This has nothing to do with eliminating free speech, as I absolutely believe in the right of every person to speak their mind when the time and place is appropriate.

Our society is now witnessing the demise of professional football, and perhaps other sports, as league management and team ownership fail to live up to their respective positions and demand that the product on the field conform to the reason why the spectators purchase the tickets.

Note that I am not saying that a player is not entitled to his or her opinions. What i am saying is that there is a time and a place and certainly, the grass field, ice or hardwood court is not the proper place to do so. Their opinions should be focused on how to win and entertain their audience.

If the players feel so strongly about an issue, then they have the same access (probably more) than the average person to the news media, social media, etc., where they can speak about their feelings. In fact, many of them are wealthy enough to rent a hall or stadium, hire a band, invite the public to attend, play the national anthem 100 times and bend their knees until they feel that they have made their point.

This belief that saying whatever a person has on their mind or demonstrating whenever or wherever they choose makes the general public victims to their opinions. For example, the actor(s) who chose to lecture the vice president when he attended a Broadway show. How about the people in the audience who paid more than $250 per ticket to see the performance? How about the victims in the audience who may not have agreed with the actor(s)?

Perhaps the Supreme Court has to take another look at the whole issue of free speech, not to stifle it, but to ensure that all citizens' rights are truly protected.

So staying with the current trend, let's look at the football game of the future. As the national anthem is played, several players “bend the knee;” other players stay in the locker room; several women who believe that females should be allowed to play in the NFL march on the field; a few cameramen shut down their lenses because they protest having to video the chaos and on … and on … and on ...

It is definitely time to re-establish sanity in the land.
