Monster Cownose Ray, Snook, Trout and More - ft. Outlaw, LakeForkGuy and Redneck Circus
    BlacktipH

    Published on Oct 25, 2016
In this episode, Josh goes inshore fishing with fellow YouTubers: Outlaw, LakeForkGuy, and RedneckVideos for a variety of species, including redfish, snook, jacks, cownose stingrays, trout and others. We were onboard fishing with Captain Glyn Austin from Going Coastal Fishing Charters in Sebastian, Florida. Before we could leave the boat ramp, hundreds of jack crevalles stormed the boat chasing finger mullet. After playing with the jacks, Glyn drove us to the inlet where we started drift fishing. We finished the day fishing for trout.

Canoe Fishing: 100 Miles thru the Adirondacks - Part 2
    Robert Field

    Published on Oct 25, 2016
Join me, Rex Del Rey, Ben Duchesney and Mark Vlaskamp as we journey 100 miles through the Northern Forest Canoe Trail in upstate New York. We'll face grueling portages, icy rapids, beaver dams and snow storms while catching big fish along the way.

In Part 2, we now better understand the challenges we'll face on this trip. We've worked through our portaging system and are feeling confident that we'll be able to cover ground more quickly going forward. What we don't realize, though, is that some of the greatest challenges of the trip are coming up in this episode.

    Watch Part 1 first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GsuW...

Watch to the end for a sneak peek at Part 3, which will air one week after this episode.

Thanks to our friends for their support, without which this expedition would not have been possible:

Tis the season! I totally messed up this video by not having the camera rolling for the 2 nice fish, both times I thought it was rolling but it wasnt. Then I went on to have the gopro pointed too high when I landed that blue, but fuck it all anyways :p Had 2 good casts from shore getting a 12 and 27lb bass, then came the peanut blitz, which was shortlived, launched the kayak once my kayak arrived, my buddy Tom had to make a couple stops in the morning as he lost his wallet, but we got out there by 8:45-9am. I was lazy and only brought my light rod thinking Id just throw lures out there but after seeing how quiet it was, snagging bunker seemed like the only way, I did something right tho as I landed the biggest bluefish of my life at 22lbs unofficially. Saw a whale to boot. See You on the water!

October 24 Hour Kayak Fishing Challenge. Dawn to Dusk to ER. Walleye, Carp, Bass, and More!
    FishAholic Fishing

    Published on Oct 31, 2016
Hey FishAholic's Happy Halloween! and I've been holding this footage since October 19th which would be my last day in Montauk by surprise. I started at dawn to complete my challenge and planned to fish until I got at least over 100" inches. While freshwater fishing from a little after 7am till 2pm I nailed some nice bass, walleye, and carp to get 54.5", then moving to saltwater to find some more species I was able to catch porgie, and black seabass to bring the total to 79.5". I tried for striped bass to bring my inches over 100" but I couldn't find one bass. Therefore I figured I would fish into dark then relaunch my kayak on the North side to get on a hot striper bite that has been going on for a few day. But suddenly as I continued fishing into dark I started having a lot of chest pain nearly a mile from the beach fight an outgoing tide. It felt like my chest was being compressed and my breaths began to be shorter I new what it was immediately. My lung had collapsed, and being this was my second incident I knew what it was. Luckily after battling to get to the beach and over and hour of fighting my breath to pack my kayak I drove to the hospital and was put on oxygen. The next day after much consideration I received surgery to repair my spontaneous collapsed lung genetic disorder and am recovering from surgery at the present time.

November 3, 2016 New Jersey/Delaware Bay Fishing Report with Jim Hutchinson, Jr.
    The Fisherman Magazine

    Published on Nov 4, 2016
Let’s just say it busted wide open this past weekend as airborne bunker along Central Jersey beaches on Saturday and Sunday gave pretty good indication of the stripers underneath.

Good action on Saturday around the Bay Head area, great on Sunday down into IBSP, and gangbusters Monday for both surfcasters and boaters alike down along much of the range extending south to Beach Haven.

Mid-week bite slowed quite a bit, but with forecast now for NW winds Friday followed by westerlies on Saturday, expect the bunker busting to pick up again this weekend. South Jersey anglers hope to find that first wave of arriving stripers taking live baits or trolled mojos as well by the weekend, with hopes that the start of this November run could turn out like the last one!

Big, Dream Boat bluefish are also in the mix along Central and South Jersey waters, while down through South Jersey and Delaware folks hope to return to the black sea bass grounds this weekend to take advantage of the 15 fish limit while the stripers continue to make the move towards the southern waters.

Remember to bring those 5-plus-better humpbacks in to a participating Dream Boat weigh-station for your chance to win the Cobia center console!

November 3, 2016 New England Fishing Report with Toby Lapinski

    • There is a lot going on right now from some very good surf action for striped bass and bluefish to excellent bottom fishing for blackfish and sea bass. Capt Greg of the Black Hawk was a bit hampered by winds last week but when he was able to sail it was all you could handle fishing both diamond jigging as well as fishing the bottom with bait. The good fishing has continued into this week and the weather this weekend looks pretty good as well.

    Rhode Island
    • I received an email today from Fisherman subscriber, Lawrence Thompson. He said that he read the article I wrote for the November issue – Tog Jigging – and he went out and tried some jigs for the first time off Quonny. He was using some paint-less banana-head jigs that he pours and ended up landing around 20 blackfish. Congrats on the good day of fishing and I’m happy that my article proved to be so helpful And for those of you that haven’t given it a look, check out the November issue online by clicking
on the YouTube card at the upper right-hand corner of the screen right now.

    Massachusetts
    • Saltwater fishing has been ok with some striped bass and tuna still being landed, but a lot of Bay Staters have turned their focus to hunting or freshwater fishing and the state stocked trout into a bunch of waterbodies from the Berkshires to the Cape recently. You can find the full list of state-stocked waters by visiting TheFisherman.com and reading my recent news item, “Fall Trout Stocking Underway.” There is also a YouTube card available right now at the upper right hand corner of your screen to take you directly to the story.

November 3, 2016 Long Island Metro Fishing Report with Fred Golofaro
    The Fisherman Magazine

    Published on Nov 4, 2016
Take your pick of inshore species this week – stripers, blues, sea bass, blackfish, porgies and even some cod are all there for the taking. Blackfishing may be the best we’ve seen in a long time, although much of the action in some areas is made up of fish just under the 16-inch size limit.

The fall striper run is at its peak whether you’re in a boat or the surf. Where there are blues, they are the biggest kind, with slammers to 20 pounds not uncommon this fall. Sea bass, porgies and cod continue to provide cooler filling mixed bag action on offshore wrecks and on the East End. If the weatherman cooperates, it could be a banner weekend.

If you’re into the surf, there are two big contests slated for this weekend – Saltwaters Tackle Surf Tournament and the Jones Beach Classic.

Get the full report for the Long Island, New York Metro region at http://www.thefisherman.com/index.cfm...

On Thursday, I took big John out to multiple areas inside the inlet and along the docks as we attempted to catch ...anything. Just caught a few small Sheepshead and catfish. The next day, Friday, I came out HOPING to at least get to the jetty and maybe catch a Red Drum or possibly a Black Drum only to find the fish had lock jaw.. except for the one big Red I caught.
The winds never got stronger so decided to make the short run out to reef #5 in the hopes of catching... anything. Not disappointing as the Red Snapper were thick as salt in the shaker.

Bass Fishing in 95 DEGREE Water?!?! ABSURD Power Plant Lake in Texas
    1Rod1ReelFishing

    Published on Nov 5, 2016
Bass fishing in a freaking HOT TUB!!! Before today, the warmest water I had ever fished was in the mid-low 80s... Fishing with LakeForkGuy, we tackled a power plant lake in Texas with water temps that nearly reached 100 degrees!!! One would think boiling hot water would completely shut down the bass bite, but amazingly, that was not the case. However, these RIDICULOUS water temps yielded another challenge, an obstacle that made it nearly impossible for us to land these chunky bass...

MONSTER SUNFISH!!! Getting HYPED while Bluegill Fishing (ft. Jon B. & apbassing)
    1Rod1ReelFishing

    Published on Nov 6, 2016
Fishing for GIGANTIC sunfish! Monstrous, ginormous, titanic, freak bluegills... By far the most fun I've ever had targeting this species! Most of us start our fishing careers catching panfish, but even as experienced anglers, we can always enjoy fishing for them, especially when they grow to ridiculous sizes! We travel to GY's ranch in Texas and attend a charity event for the cast for kids foundation. An awesome day spent helping kids enjoy our great sport, catching quality fish, and hanging out with friends!

(Yes, I got hyped fishing for bluegill, but I'm more prone to episodes of extreme hypeness when fishing around my best buds xD)

New Jersey Fall Run 2016 Kayak Cows

    Published on Nov 6, 2016
Our first Fall 2016 trip out front was a productive one. Everyone caught big bass up to 35 lbs on live-lined bunker and we even had some topwater action, underwater dogfish swarms and whale sightings. It was easily a top 3 day of bass fishing for me.

VLOG #253- Kayaking Crab Island! I found the Craziest CLOWN EVER!
    Yak Motley

    Published on Nov 6, 2016
In this VLOG, we kayaked Crab Island in Destin, Florida and did an awesome pub crawl on the Harbor Walk Village. This was Part #3 of the trip to the Destin Fishing Rodeo and our stay at the Emerald Grande Harbor Walk. It was Halloween weekend on the Emerald Coast so we decided to do a little kayak fishing and enjoy the Destin Night life! We checked out The Boat House Bar on the Destin Harbor Walk, Harry T's, Margaritaville, Duck Duck and the Red Door. The night life was a lot of fun! We ended the night watching the fireworks from the Emerald Grande!

100 Mile Canoe Fishing Adventure - Part 4
    Robert Field

    Published on Nov 8, 2016
Join me, Rex Del Rey, Ben Duchesney and Mark Vlaskamp as we journey 100 miles through the Northern Forest Canoe Trail in upstate New York. We'll face grueling portages, icy rapids, beaver dams and snow storms while catching big fish along the way.

In the fourth and final episode, we're still behind schedule. Day 7 begins with our final major portage, but our worst fear is realized when our portaging system suffers a serious setback. Then I make a critical mistake that costs us precious time, and we realize we aren't going to be leaving the Adirondacks on schedule.

What did you guys think about the series? Comment below! I'm looking for feedback to decide if I should do more series like this one.

Finally we were getting some Westerly breezes so big John and I headed out to the jetty to try and hook into a Red Drum or 2. The action at the jetty was dismal so we made the bumpy ride out to reef #5 to play with the hordes of Red Snapper and just maybe catch something to put in the cooler.

In this episode, Josh goes land-based shark fishing for giant blacktip sharks with Kyle the Fish Whisperer. Josh almost got spooled by what he thinks was quite possibly one of the largest blacktip sharks he has ever hooked! The conditions were very tough with strong NE winds and massive waves.

When the Stripers Found the Bunker...
    Sea-Money Fishing

    Published on Nov 7, 2016
Another chapter in the book of the 2016 Fall Striper Run, this time in South Jersey when some Bass found the Bunker at dusk and fed heavily, I had only the last few hours of daylight to find a bite and launched after seeing some nervous bunker, at first it was just Bluefish harrassing the schools but for the last hour of daylight, 30"-36" Bass crashed the party.

This fall has been slow so far, don't be fooled by the sensationalized fabricated reports of lights out fishing and hot blitzes, those moments have been very few and far between, social media gives the illusion that its going off and if you chase the reports, odds are you will end up frustrated and defeated, the best time to go fishing is when you have the time, regardless of what the reports say. Fish are few and far between out there but as always, if you put in the time, you will eventually find what you are looking for.

    Thanks for Watching!

November 10, 2016 Long Island Metro Fishing Report with Fred Golofaro
    The Fisherman Magazine

    Published on Nov 11, 2016
The 26th running of the Riverview Striped Bass Tournament saw the best combination of fishing and weather in its history on Election Day. Few if any of the 130 boats went fishless during the eight hour long contest as stripers to 41.2 pounds and blues to 22.2 pounds proved extremely cooperative. Th fall striper run is at its peak from one end of the Island to the other, and along both shores of the Island, and if you’ve ever dreamed about catching a 20-pound bluefish, now is the time.

Bottom fishing is top shelf on offshore wrecks, in Long Island Sound and off of Montauk with blackfish, jumbo sea bass and plate size porgies filling anglers’ coolers. Surfcasters are also cashing in on the fall run in many areas, particularly along South Fork and North Fork beaches. It is looking like the good fishing will last at least through the month and possibly into December so make some time to get in on all this great action before winter sets in.

    • There is still word of some albies being landed in the eastern Sound from about the Thames to the Watch Hill reefs, but your time is literally ticking away for a last shot at one of these fall speedsters. One positive note lately, however, is that the fish are running very large with a good number of 10-plus-pounders being caught. More consistent is the blackfish bite and word is that the deeper waters – say 30 to 60 feet – are producing much better now.

    Rhode Island
    • There is still some spotty but good striper fishing along South County with bass to the high 40-pound class being beached in recent days, but most anglers have turned their efforts to blackfish and the bite has been very good around the mouth of the Bay on both the Newport and Narragansett sides. A good number of 7- to 8-pound fish are being landed with enough over the 10-pound mark to make for some excitement.

    Massachusetts
    • In case you missed it, the 2016 commercial bluefin season closed up last week as the quota was met. However, fishing still remains very good for recreational sub-73-inch bluefin off Chatham and on up to the Golf Balls where they have been hanging for the last few weeks. Just note that any fish in excess of the 73-inch mark bust be released in the safest and speediest manner possible.
