Speaking of liberal left douche bags, sounds like Anthony Weiner will be sentenced on the 25th. I guess we'll find out how much political pull Huma still has n Her. Another fucken liberal pedophile, He is begging the judge for leniency.
    http://www.tmz.com/2017/09/13/anthony-weiner-asks-for-mercy-sentencing-letter-to-judge/

Anthony Weiner says he's turned a corner in his recovery, and he's asking a judge to show leniency when he's sentenced for sending obscene material to a minor.

Weiner fired off the letter to the judge in his case, saying, "I am 345 days off my destructive behaviors and have a daily practice to help me never return to them." Those behaviors include his multiple sexting scandals ... the last of which involved his lewd online communication with a 15-year-old. Weiner pleaded guilty, and will be sentenced Sept. 25.

The letter, obtained by TMZ, contains repeated references to his treatment and deep regret for continually humiliating his wife, Huma Abedin, and crushing her aspirations -- a clear reference to her role as Hillary Clinton's longtime aide.

Weiner also describes how he plans to explain his actions to their toddler son when he gets older. He writes, "I'll tell him I was a guy who did a very bad thing to a young person I never met. I'll tell him I put his amazing mother through years of trauma and broke her heart."

Huma filed for divorce the day Weiner entered his guilty plea. There's no talk of reconciling with her in the letter, but he sounds determined to mend fences with her.

The judge could give Weiner a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison, although sentencing guidelines recommend 21 to 27 months.

He closed the letter with ... "Every day I quietly do what I can to keep getting better, and to fix the damage I've done. I have much more work to do. Please show me grace so that I may continue."

    "Never return to them"?......
That right there is a big red flag...
Wiener may be able to lower the odds of reoffending but to say never indicates he is still in denial...
Yes Mr Weiner you have a lot of work to do , let's see if 10 yrs in Sing-Sing helps you get your mind right...
But I am not holding my breath. It will not surprise me if wiener gets a slap on the wrist and never sees a day behind bars....

The problem, as I see it, is 10 years would not be enough, prison does nothing to rehabilitate someone the like of him, it would only make him worse in other ways - at tax payers expense, I might add.

What we have here is, failure to communicate.

Back in the day this kind of statement made in court would have been met with laughter followed by the 40 year jail sentence. Now its grounds for dismissal and even a book deal! Fuck this country these days!

There was a judge up these ways that was complaining about how the junkies that would enter pleas and say that they were victims. I hadn't looked into the judge presiding over the Weiner Neiner Neiner case but I do hope he looks Tony in the eye and says, "Too fooking bad for you. You are an ingrate and a disgrace to your career, your wife even though she has her own issues and you are no kind of role model for your child. The court officers will now bring you to the tattoo parlor for your back knockers".

    Another chuckle..........

Charlottesville: The mental status exam Trump failed
    • By Steve Nolan

Talk about Donald Trump’s mental health continues but no therapist is allowed to diagnose a non-patient. This is the way it must be in the medical profession; but what is called, “The duty to warn,” has motivated many therapists to shout a warning cry.

Throughout my career as a military therapist it was always part of my duty to separate personality disorders from military service. It is a specific, honorable discharge for psychiatric reasons. Personality disorders are discharged because they are non-adaptable to the norms of military life (rules, regulations, Uniformed Code of Military Justice) and they are not considered curable.

Personality disorders are different from other mental conditions; they rarely respond to the medical model (alleviation of suffering through symptom relief) leading to a successful outcome. With depression and anxiety and most mental afflictions there is treatment for symptoms and a good prognosis for recovery. With Antisocial and Narcissistic PDs particularly (the most potentially dangerous in a combat zone) there is little or no distress (ego dystonic) and their way of thinking is ego syntonic (it feels normal) -- think of a mafia godfather running a crime syndicate but sleeps like a baby, has a wonderful appetite; think of the wife-beater who says, “She had it coming because the house was a mess.”

Most PD’s come to the attention of a military clinician due to disobeying orders or breaking the law. The narcissist behaves as if norms, rules, regulations do not apply to him. Examples of maladaptive beliefs that would lead to discharge would include: refusal to accept the commander in chief as a United States citizen, believing that the Geneva Convention ties the hands of the military, thinking that military sexual assault is the result of throwing men and women together, thinking that you know more than the generals, wanting to murder family members of the enemy, believing that enemy leadership is stronger than American leadership, stating that you want the enemy to increase cyber warfare against the United States, insisting that proven U.S. intelligence is false, believing that American citizens expressing First Amendment rights are the enemy of the people, and, of course, habitual lying by itself would eventually lead to disciplinary action, military separation or imprisonment depending on severity.

The military enlistment oath is to defend the Constitution. Assaults on constitutional guarantees would be an instant disqualifier.

Charlottesville is the mental status exam that Donald Trump failed in front of the entire nation, not only because he defended those whose views are anti-American, not only because he insulted all those who fought fascism and suffered under fascism, but he demonstrated that he does not understand the Constitution he has sworn to defend -- a necessary requirement of military leadership.

The narcissist’s personal agenda trumps the societal agenda, or, even the human rights agenda. Donald Trump demonstrates that he is ignorant of the fact that every white supremacist, neo Nazi and KKK member would automatically be disqualified from military service because they refuse to accept that Jewish, African American, Muslim, LBGT, etc., are their equals. They would be required to take orders from people they publicly state are inferior.

Donald Trump’s inability to see white supremacists as domestic enemies of the Constitution by itself would have required me to discharge Pvt. Trump or Cpl. Trump or Sgt. Trump from the United States Army. His constant lying to the American people about proven cyber warfare by Russia would put him in serious disciplinary trouble if he were a member of the intelligence community he now commands.

Even without a diagnosis, Trump’s mental status has forced others to act on the nation’s behalf. Acting Attorney General Sally Yate’s refusal to violate the Constitution was her duty to warn, FBI Director Comey’s testimony before Congress about what he believed to be obstruction of a federal investigation was his duty to warn, Walter Shaub, Government Ethics Chief’s, resignation due to Trump’s constitutional violations, was his duty to warn the American people.

The list will continue to multiply until we the people, through our elected representatives, remove from the highest office someone who would be unfit to hold the lowest office in the U.S military.

DNC Has Another Tragic Fundraising Month – Goes Further in Hole
    by Jim Hoft 30 Comments

The DNC had another tragic fundraising month.
When you cater to the non-working class these things happen.

Even the liberal media is starting to talk.

Boy wonder Obama left the party broke and in shambles.

The DNC is out of ideas and out of cash.

    The Washington Free Beacon reported:

The Democratic National Committee’s already dire financial standing worsened during the month of August, according to its Wednesday night filing to the FEC.

The DNC raised just $4.4 million last month, the second lowest August fundraising figure for the party in the past decade. The party had less cash on hand at the end of the month than it did at the beginning, as its spending outpaced its fundraising by $44,575.

And it gets worse. The DNC’s debt substantially increased from $3.4 million to $4.1 million, a figure equal to about 60 percent of the committee’s total cash on hand.

I'll just leave this right here. As more people get tired of the legal system that seems to be infiltrated with liberal judges and fanatical political wannabes, I'm quite sure we will be seeing more stories resembling the following.......

William Smith, 28, from Dallas, Texas was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday morning, decapitated and slumped against the front door of the judge who had granted him bail in August.

Smith was arrested last month following allegations by his then girlfriend that he had raped her 8-year-old daughter.

After a police investigation in which Smith was found in possession of child pornography, he was arrested on two counts related to child pornography and one count of child molestation.

    Trump's embrace of...
    A post-American world
    • By FAREED ZAKARIA

President Trump's speech to the United Nations was well delivered. But it was a strange mishmash of topics and tones, in parts celebrating realpolitik but then also asserting the importance of freedom and democracy. There was, however, one overriding theme -- the embrace of nationalism. And in striking that chord, Donald Trump did something unusual, perhaps unique for a U.S. president: He encouraged, even embraced the rise of a post-American world.

First, the mishmash. Early in his speech, Trump asserted, "In America, we do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone." But then, a few minutes later, Trump proceeded to castigate North Korea, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba for their undemocratic political systems, virtually demanding that they all become Western-style liberal democracies.

The danger of this kind of lofty rhetoric is that it has been selectively applied, so it is seen cynically by the rest of the world as a way to dress up American self-interest. Trump took this hypocrisy to a new level. He denounced Iran for its lack of freedoms and, almost in the same breath, made favorable mention of Saudi Arabia. By any yardstick -- political rights, religious tolerance, free speech -- Iran is a much more open society than Saudi Arabia, which is an absolute monarchy allied to the world's most fanatical religious establishment, where churches and synagogues are prohibited.

The main thrust of Trump's speech was about nationalism. He celebrated sovereignty and nationalism, choosing an odd example. Latching onto a few words by President Harry Truman in support of the Marshall Plan, Trump described that approach to international relations as "beautiful" and "noble." But can anyone imagine Donald Trump actually supporting the Marshall Plan? It was a massive foreign aid program, administered by government bureaucrats to help foreigners revive their industries -- which became competitors to American firms. The amount spent was staggering -- as a percentage of GDP, more than five times what Washington spent during the combat phase of the war in Afghanistan, according to Harvard's Charles Maier. To make the Marshall Plan work, Washington encouraged European nations to cede economic sovereignty and create the European Coal and Steel Community, which was the genesis of the European Union.

The most significant line in Trump's speech was this one, delivered dramatically: "As president of the United States, I will always put America first, just like you, as the leaders of your countries will always, and should always, put your countries first."

But this is what countries like Russia and China have been saying for the past few decades. For the last 70 years, the great debate among nations has been between those who argued for narrow national interests and those who believed that lasting peace and prosperity depended on promoting broader common interests. The latter, conceived by FDR and supported by every U.S. president since, is what produced the United Nations and all the organizations that monitor and assist with trade, travel, disease, crime and weather issues, among a host of others, that spill over borders and can only be handled at a regional or global level.

But Donald Trump is tired of being the world's leader. He whined in his speech that other countries are unfair in their dealings with the United States, and that somehow the most powerful nation in the world, which dominates almost every international forum, is being had. His solution, a return to nationalism, would be warmly welcomed by most of the world's major players -- Russia and China, but also countries like India and Turkey -- which tend to act on the basis of their narrow self-interest. Of course, that will mean a dramatic acceleration of the post-American world, one in which these countries will shape policies and institutions, unashamedly to their own benefit rather than any broader one.

Trump grumbled about the fact that the United States pays 22 percent of the U.N.'s budget, which is actually appropriate because it's roughly equivalent to America's share of global GDP. Were he to scale back America's support, he might be surprised how fast a country like China will leap in to fill the gap. And once it does, China will dominate and shape the U.N. -- and the global agenda -- just as America has done for seven decades. Perhaps the Chinese will suggest that the organization's headquarters be moved to Beijing. Come to think of it, it would free up acres of land on the East River where Donald Trump could build a few more condominiums.

Thursday Limbaugh was talking about the "1" party system in Washington & how badly they are hiding it & everyone has caught on to it.
Glad he is going main stream. Tin foil hat sales are gaining speed and more and more people are starting to think instead of believe.

This all sounds positive to me. China can have the UN, pay for it, and shape their agenda. Meanwhile we need to get out of the UN and make our own way.

Trump's race-baiting rhetoric is simply who he is
    • By EUGENE ROBINSON Washington Post Writers Group
    • 4 hrs ago

President Trump's race-baiting attack on African-American athletes is nothing new. During the civil rights movement, blacks in the South who dared to stand up for justice were often punished by being fired from their jobs. Trump is demanding that National Football League team owners act like the white segregationists of old.

It was gratifying to see the overwhelming rejection of Trump's hideous rabble-rousing by NFL players, owners and fans. But let's be clear: There is no reason, at this point, to give Trump the benefit of any doubt. We should assume Trump's words and actions reflect what he truly believes.

His opening salvo, delivered Friday at a campaign rally in Alabama, could not have been clearer, or cruder: "Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that (expletive) off the field right now. Out! He's fired. He's fired!'"

Trump was referring, of course, to players who take a knee during the singing of the national anthem. The practice was started by quarterback Colin Kaepernick -- and adopted by a smattering of players around the league, almost all of them black -- as a way of protesting police shootings of unarmed African-Americans.

Trump claimed in a Monday tweet that "the issue of kneeling has nothing to do with race," but that is a lie. Kaepernick's method of protest had everything to do with race, as its intent was to focus attention on racial injustice.

Trump was speaking to a virtually all-white audience in the Deep South. About 70 percent of players in the NFL are African-American. Some political analysts put two and two together and concluded that Trump was playing to the racial anxieties and animosities of his base. If this is true, however, he seems to have miscalculated.

Hundreds of players, black and white, protested during the anthem on Sunday by kneeling, linking arms or, in some cases, declining to take the field until the music was over. Many coaches and owners joined in. Almost all team owners released statements defending the players' right to protest, including New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, a friend of Trump's who contributed $1 million to his inauguration committee and gave him a Super Bowl ring. Kraft said he was "deeply disappointed" by Trump's remarks.

Perhaps stung by the near-unanimity of the NFL's reaction, Trump sought refuge by appealing to an audience he might have expected to be friendlier. "So proud of NASCAR and its supporters and fans. They won't put up with disrespecting our Country or our Flag," he tweeted Monday.

But a half-hour later, NASCAR's most popular driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr., responded by tweeting, "All Americans R granted rights 2 peaceful protests." Maybe next, Trump will try his luck with the professional rodeo circuit.

Trump's intent, I assume, was to create a wedge issue, with patriots on one side -- his side -- and non-patriots on the other. He did not realize that so many people who might dispute Kaepernick's position on police violence would nevertheless defend the players' right to take a stand, or a knee. We have a president who does not understand our fundamental freedoms.

On Saturday, he publicly dis-invited the Golden State Warriors' Steph Curry -- one of pro basketball's transcendent stars -- from the White House. Curry had expressed reluctance to visit, and instead of reaching out, Trump slammed the door. I suppose you could argue that rich and famous athletes can take care of themselves.

But recall that Trump and his father were sued by Richard Nixon's Justice Department for illegally refusing to rent apartments to blacks. Recall that Trump continued to insist the "Central Park Five" -- four black men and one Latino -- were guilty of a brutal rape even after DNA evidence conclusively proved their innocence. Recall that Trump led the "birther" movement, ridiculously claiming that Barack Obama wasn't born in the USA. Recall his campaign appeal to black voters: "You're living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58 percent of your youth is unemployed -- what the hell do you have to lose?"

And recall his reaction to Charlottesville, where he discerned some "very fine people" among the torch-wielding parade of Ku Klux Klan members and neo-Nazis.

I don't believe this can all be political calculation. I believe Trump is telling us what he really thinks -- and who he really is.

CBS Senior Legal VP, Hayley Geftman-Gold, Fired For Callous Las Vegas Victim Statement…
Posted on October 2, 2017 by sundance

Allow liberals to express their views openly, without filtration, and you will usually find a streak of hatred, vitriol, anger, rage and general propensity toward violence that surfaces as an outcome of their intolerant worldviews. Unfortunately it’s not the exception, it’s the norm:

“I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

NEW YORK – CBS has parted ways with one of the company’s top lawyers after she said she is “not even sympathetic” to victims of the Las Vegas shooting because “country music fans often are Republican,” when discussing the tragic mass shooting that occurred in Las Vegas late Sunday night.

“This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families,” a CBS spokeswoman told Fox News.

Hayley Geftman-Gold, the network’s now-former vice president and senior counsel, took to Facebook after a gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas, killing at least 58 people and sending more than 500 others to hospitals.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs [sic] will ever do the right thing,” Geftman-Gold wrote in a now-deleted message. Geftman-Gold continued: “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc [sic] country music fans often are Republican gun toters [sic].” (read more)

Fear is at the core of liberalism, and love/trust is at the core of conservatism. Liberalism is about control. Conservatism is about self-empowerment.

Control is a reaction to fear.

Think in terms or politics and society – the fear behind liberalism is the fear that someone might withhold things (opportunities, money, whatever) from me, fear that if you live your life in a way I dislike that it might affect my life, fear that if you get that job, there will be nothing left for me.

Fear that if you make tons of money, it’s means there’s less money out there for me. So people who believe in liberal ideologies seek control as a means of trying to create guarantees and safeguards against those circumstances they fear.

Modern liberals try to control the world and people to enable their comfort and happiness. Which, as we know, is an endless quest. Trying to control others does nothing in the way of making oneself happy. By extension, voting in this mindset so that government can try to control others will also – shocking – not lead to a happier, more comfortable life.

The conservative (and moderate, independent, but for the sake of expediency, the conservative), on the other hand, relies on himself to meet his own needs. And the trade off of being free to live his life as he wishes is also understanding that he has to make peace with how you live yours.

By extension, aware that he wants to be able to hold onto this liberty and freedom forever, the conservative votes accordingly, so that everyone can remain free and in charge of his or her own life.

But here’s the crucial difference, perhaps, particularly where misery on the left stems: The conservative does not worry, so to speak, about you. The conservative knows that you were born with the same access to self-love, self-empowerment, self-determination and self-reliance that we all were, no matter the circumstances into which you were born. (Think about the millions of people this country has allowed to crawl up from poverty into prosperity – the conservative KNOWS this is possible.) And the conservative believes that if you want prosperity, or a good job, or a good education, you can make it happen – but you have to work hard.

The conservative hopes and intends that the free markets bring you all of the affordable and positive opportunities and resources that you need. The conservative also knows that on the other side of that hard work is great reward – material and, more importantly, emotional, spiritual and mental.

The conservative understands that not only is it a waste of time to try to control you, it’s actually impossible. Humans were born to be free. And if we put a roadblock in front of you, you’ll find another way around it. So we see attempts at control as a waste of resources, energy and time at best, and at worst, creating detrimental results that serve to hinder people’s upward mobility or teach dependence. We see much more efficiency, as well as endless opportunity, in leaving you to your own devices. And we want the same in return.

This is where the media and democrats inappropriately disparage MAGA republicans as heartless. The conservative believes that there is one and one path only to sustainable success and independence – and that is self-empowerment. All other avenues – welfare, affirmative action, housing loans you can’t actually afford – ultimately risk doing a disservice to people as they teach dependence on special circumstances, the govt, or arbitrary assistance (that can disappear tomorrow). And the real danger – they will ALWAYS backfire, and leave the recipient in equally or more dire circumstances. Any false improvement will always expire.

The conservative believes in abundance. The liberal believes in scarcity.

The conservative believes man is born free and will be who he is, no matter what arbitrary limitations or rules are put on him. The liberal believes man is perfectible, and by extension, believes a society at large is perfectible, and command and control is justified in the quest to a “perfect” utopian society. (Sounds familiar!)

The conservative tends to be more faithful – and not necessarily in God, but in the ability of the individual to find great strength in himself (or from his God) to get what he needs and to be successful. Therefore the conservative has an outlet for his fear and disappointment – trust and faith in something bigger.

The liberal believes the system must be perfected in order to enable success. Therefore disappointment is channeled as anger and blame at the system. Voids are left to be filled by faith in the govt, which they surely then want to come in and “fix” things.

And therein lies the roots of love and fear respectively.

For the conservative, when life presents great struggles, he knows he has the power to surmount them. Happiness stems from internal strength and perseverance. For the liberal, when life presents great struggles, the system failed, therefore they were at the mercy of a faulty system, and they believe that only when the system is fixed can their life improve. Happiness is built on systemic contingencies, which they will then seek to control or expect someone else to.

One blames himself. The other blames anyone and everyone but himself.

And there it is. There’s where the meanness comes from. The liberal ideology causes that person to cast anger at the world when things go wrong or appear “unfair.”

She constantly chooses only to see the “injustices” – and that makes for a very miserable, mean, blame-casting existence.

One last point that we have seen over and over and over with many (not all) of our liberal friends:

    Extreme stinginess and cheapness.

In our conservative community growing up, we were always taught that you give when people are in need – make donations to the Red Cross when there’s an earthquake, donate to charity when you can afford it, etc. Even if it’s just $50 here and there – it’s the right thing to do.

Generally, conservatives see this as the responsibility that comes with gaining from the capitalistic system; if you happen to benefit greatly from the system, it’s your duty to give back.

The liberal, on the other hand, does not seem to share this same viewpoint, at least not in my experience. And perhaps think this is linked to believing in scarcity, and that your dollar comes at the cost of mine.

So it seems that liberals, on some level of consciousness, feel guilty about not being voluntarily charitable. Therefore, to write off their guilt, they outsource their “generosity” to the government by voting for wealth re-distributive policies. Thus, the liberal cheats himself of the joy and addictiveness of direct generosity. (Not to mention – re distributive policies ALWAYS end up dis-empowering those who they’re meant to help.)

However each of us got here, it’s probably a fact that we have the turmoil of those storms in common, perhaps some unease that we could share and always, we also find fresh ground to cover from day to day. We’re developing valuable relationships as we trust one another in our community in the woods. The chatting in the branches encourages, strengthens and equips each of us for some serious walking.

We think the Treehouse is a good armory for those who doing long distance walking for the sake of our nation. We hope you’ll think so, too. Find yourself a good branch ….or just pull up a rock to the campfire.

You’ll find there’s far more of us, than them. BIGLY.

Jimmy Kimmel Didn’t Cry for the Nearly 59 People Shot Each Month in Chicago

During the opening monologue on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, host Jimmy Kimmel cried over the Las Vegas attack, pushed for more gun control, bad-mouthed Republicans, but did not say a word about the number of innocents gunned down in Chicago every month.

Kimmel rightly lamented the “59 innocent” who are dead as result of the Las Vegas attack, but there was a not a peep about the nearly 59 a month on average that have been killed year-to-date in Chicago in 2017.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the current death toll for Chicago 2017 sits at 527.

Moreover, Kimmel’s monologue contained no lamentations for the more than 63 individuals who were killed on average every month in Chicago during 2016 (the Chicago Tribune reported a total of 762 murders for 2016). And nothing was said for the nearly 4,400 victims who were shot and wounded during 2016.

I think people are going to get tired of Jimmy Kimmel turning his show into another Bill Mahr type of gig, all lefty politics, all the time. The Left is turning everyone into political animals 24/7. Dude is a worthless POS.
