    Do the math. The three single-day announcements below will add more than 6,500 new jobs, average around $50,000 per job, and contribute tens-of-billions to a revitalized new America-First economy. This is MAGAnomics in action. This is a direct result of economic policies initiated by President Trump. This is part of the reason why the U.S. GDP will easily exceed 4% growth in the next three years of Trump’s first term.

    Economic Nationalism – America’s largest private employer, Walmart, has announcedtheir plan to increase their minimum wage to $11/hr and give out bonuses between $200 to $1,000 to each of their more than one million employees:

    CNBC – […] “We are early in the stages of assessing the opportunities tax reform creates for us to invest in our customers and associates and to further strengthen our business, all of which should benefit our shareholders,” he added. “However, some guiding themes are clear and consistent with how we’ve been investing — lower prices for customers, better wages and training for associates and investments in the future of our company, including in technology.”


    Walmart said the changes will benefit the retailer’s more than 1 million hourly employees across the country and will go into effect as soon as February. (read more)

    Additionally, as a direct result of the new tax landscape in combination with the one-time write-offs for investment, Chrysler has announced they are moving the majority of their Heavy Truck manufacturing from Mexico to Michigan:

    DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler is moving production of heavy-duty trucks from Mexico to Michigan and paying bonuses to U.S. workers in response to the passage of U.S. tax reform late last year.

    The automaker will invest $1 billion in its Warren Truck Assembly Plant to make the Ram Heavy Duty Truck starting in 2020. That truck is currently made in Saltillo, Mexico, where workers will continue to make commercial vehicles.

    FCA says the Warren plant will add 2,500 new jobs.

    The company also plans to pay $2,000 bonuses this spring to about 60,000 hourly and salaried U.S. employees. Senior executives won’t get the bonus.

    FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne says the company should adjust its manufacturing footprint to reflect “improvement in the U.S. business environment.” He says employees should also share in the tax savings. (read more)

    Capping off the trifecta of good news, Toyota/Mazda has announced a massive $1.6 BILLION investment in new manufacturing in Alabama that will employ 4,000 U.S. workers:

    Toyota Motor Corp (TM) and Mazda Motor Corp announced on Wednesday they will build a $1.6 billion joint assembly plant in Alabama that will employ up to 4,000 workers, a boost for President Donald Trump, who wants automakers to expand U.S. production.

    Toyota President Akio Toyoda and Mazda President and Chief Executive Officer Masamichi Kogai joined Alabama Governor Kay Ivey in Montgomery at an event to announce the decision.

    “Welcome to sweet home Alabama,” Ivey said to the two executives, after saying that the anticipated 4,000 workers at the plant to be built in Huntsville would earn an average of $50,000 a year.

    The plant will produce 300,000 vehicles a year and should open on a 2,500-acre former cotton field in 2021, about 14 miles from Toyota’s engine plant in Huntsville. (link)

    Friday on his Fox News Channel program, host Tucker Carlson explained one of the possible reasons President Donald Trump’s reported “shithole” remarks have generated some much “outrage,” especially from elected leaders.

    Carlson acknowledged some of the hysteria was “tactical” because it is intended to score points against Trump. However, some of it he postulated was because it was forcing lawmakers to explain what defines America.

    Transcript as follows:


    Washington, D.C. is a divided city, but today saw a moment of rare political unity. Lawmakers in both parties came together in grave agreement that it was unfortunate, unacceptable, indeed threatening, that President Trump would refer to poor and dangerous countries as in effect poor and dangerous.

    Now, some of the outrage was tactical, obviously. A way to score political advantage, but a great deal of it was entirely real. It was authentic rage.

    So, why are the people in charge hysterical about this? Is it because Trump said something racially insensitive?

    Let’s see. Just yesterday, Nancy Pelosi dismissed the DACA negotiation because there were too many white people involved and most people here didn’t even notice. So, left-wing attacks on the basis of race are now common. Very common.

    So, could it be they found it shocking the president would criticize an entire nation? Maybe. But then, the left has no problem bashing huge parts of this country.

    HILLARY CLINTON, FORMER DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: You can put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic.

    BARACK OBAMA, FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: They cling to guns or religion or antipathy towards people who aren’t like them.

    CARLSON: So, they don’t have a problem dismissing entire populations. So, what is the real reason for the panic you are watching right now on cable television?

    Maybe it’s because Trump’s remarks are forcing precisely the kind of conversation our leaders don’t want to have. He didn’t do it on purpose. It was accidental, but he still raised questions they’d rather not answer, like who exactly are we importing into our country and how are they doing once they get here?

    The answer, of course, well, they are all valedictorians and war heroes and, in fact, way more impressive and way more American than you will ever be, so shut up. That’s what we’re told. That’s what we are required to believe. What if it’s not true?

    Last year, the U.S. accepted 23,000 people from Haiti and 172,000 from Mexico. Immigration from El Salvador have been so brisk in recent years that one in three Salvadorians now lives in the United States. Has America become a better country as a result? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe we ought to talk it through and decide before we continue with our current immigration policy.

    Leaders who actually cared about their people would do exactly that. And yet, our leaders just yell at us until we stop asking questions.

    Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina released a statement today that neatly summarizes how most of official Washington thinks about this subject. In a statement, Graham dismisses the idea that America should even think about what kind of people it lets in.

    “I have always believed that America is an idea,” Graham wrote, “not defined by its people, but by its ideals. Diversity has always been our strength, not our weakness.”

    America is defined by its ideals, OK. So, what are those ideals? It might be useful to know considering how important they are. Well, diversity is our strength is the only one our leaders seem to agree on. The less we have in common, somehow the stronger we are. Is that true? We better hope it’s true because we’re betting everything on it.

    But there’s a deeper problem with what Sen. Graham said. “America is not defined by its people.” Really? What do its people think about that? Are they pleased to learn their leaders consider them merely a commodity, a set of interchangeable parts?

    America’s actual people with their actual families and towns and traditions and history and customs may be surprised to learn that they are irrelevant to the success or failure of what they imagined was their country.

    According to Lindsey Graham, you could take our entire population and swap it out for 320 million, I don’t know, Chinese or Indians or Africans or Canadian or people from New Zealand, and the place would be no different, so long as the idea was still there. Does anyone actually believe that?

    How about we test that idea starting with the U.S. Senate? Would South Carolina get the same representation from someone randomly selected out of the phone book? As Lindsey Graham would say, the Senate isn’t defined by its people. It’s really just an idea. And as soon as you start defining things by ideas rather than individuals, people become irrelevant.

    Guess what - they came out a couple days ago, in time for this week's payroll!!!

    My check was "much" larger than expected and all my employees are walking around with a smile on their face

    The System is Actively Working To Defend Itself…

    People often attempt to describe the larger umbrella of control with terms like “Deep State”, the “Administrative State”, the “Establishment”, the “industrial media”, and other descriptive word assemblies. The inherent goal is trying to describe various alignments and connections of institutional government with private sector social and financial interdependency.

    It is, in essence, what we generally describe as “The System”.

    The presidency of Donald John Trump is an existential threat to that system. A John Galt per se’. President Trump represents an uncontrollable, unaligned independent, free-thinking change-agent; a disruptor who exists entirely outside of the systems’ ability to influence favorable action.

    It is a remarkable dynamic to witness.

    To fathom the disruptive nature of the inherent conflict it helps to remember that roughly half of the U.S. demographic has been institutionally led to a point where their sense of being -amid the matrix of life- is defined by their acceptance of the systems’ inherent disposition of collectivism.

    Half of the U.S. electorate have no concept of freedom, individualism or, in essence, their own cause-and-effect relationship within their outcome.

    All elements, people, organizations and entities, who depend on the continuance of the command and control structure within the system, are now focused intensely on eliminating the disruption that is Donald John Trump.

    The defenders of the disruption, Trump supporters, are people who value their largest ‘sense-of-self’ within simple concepts of freedom, individualism and liberty.


    The conflict between the collectivists and the individualists is where we see the visible representative of individual freedom known as President Trump under an unrelenting and vicious attack.

    In large measure this conflict is so consequential it is more openly visible than we have ever seen before amid the world of politics. Think about it.

    I mean really think about it.

    For the past 24 months the entire enterprise of society to include media, entertainment, sports, business and commerce has focused exclusively on U.S. politics and Donald Trump.

    Every conversation, every-single-minute of every-single-media-broadcast was about candidate trump, and is currently about President Trump, nothing else.

    The system is pulsating every second of every day around President Trump.

    Right now, to those control agents, nothing else matters except President Trump.


    Put your reference point back about three years and ask yourself if you can ever recall a time when 1,440 minutes of every day, every word, every topic, every action, everything, was centered around the same entity or issue.

    That’s how inherently adverse the larger system is to the disruptive change-agent we know as President Trump.

    It’s really remarkable when you think about it in full scale.

    Never before has this taken place. Never before has a single entity commanded 100% of all adverse attention from the dependents within the system.

    The relationship between the intra-connected dependents within our nation, and their place amid the hierarchy of control, is why institutional media and institutional government are in complete synergy of purpose.

    Those who have held power over our national economic and social fabric are apoplectic about their inability to stop President Trump from burning through the horsehair and dropping the sword of Damocles upon their collective throne.

    Burning through that horsehair is the Big Ugly.

    The moment when the horsehair finally breaks, is the moment when everything changes.

    All systems are currently working to ensure he is stopped.

    There are trillions-of-trillions at stake.

    Almost a century of carefully carried out central planning, spanning multiple generations of nudge-by-nudge action, had the U.S. system positioned on the cusp of full autonomous control. Every outcome within the system was planned to exacting and specific control detail….

    ….and at the very last second, of the very last minute, of the very last hour, free people stopped the entire system – and elected Donald John Trump as the president.
    Remarkable.

    Apple stock jumped to end Wednesday's session near the highs of the day after Bloomberg reported that the company has told employees it will issue individual bonuses worth $2,500 because of the Trump tax cuts.

    Interestingly there was a notable absence of this move in any press release, and even more notable was the absence of any mention of the Trump tax cuts that implicitly prompted this generous move.

    Additionally, Bloomberg notes that the iPhone maker will begin issuing stock grants to most employees worldwide in the coming months, said the people, who asked not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly.

    The report followed an earlier company press release where Apple disclosed how much it expects to pay in repatriation taxes as it transfers its massive offshore cash pile back to the US.

    Citing anonymous sources inside the company, Bloomberg reported that the iPhone maker will begin issuing stock grants to most of its employees worldwide in the coming months. Earlier, the company said that it intends to use some of its repatriated cash to build an additional tech support campus, while also financing the construction of new data centers and the hiring of 20,000 employees.

    Apple didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The Cupertino, Calif. company joins a growing list of American businesses that have celebrated the introduction of corporate-friendly tax law with one-time bonuses for staff. The other firms include AT&T Inc., Comcast Corp., JetBlue Airways Corp. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

    Employees who rank below the director level (a rank that denotes senior employees) will be eligible to receive the bonus payment in stock. Apple - the world's most valuable company - has more than 120,000 US employees, including those who work at its retail stores.

    Apple announced in a press release on Wednesday that the company will be investing $350 billion into the U.S. economy over the next five years.
    According to a press release, Apple plans to create 20,000 new jobs in the United States over the next five years thanks to a $350 billion capital investment.

    Combining new investments and Apple’s current pace of spending with domestic suppliers and manufacturers — an estimated $55 billion for 2018 — Apple’s direct contribution to the US economy will be more than $350 billion over the next five years, not including Apple’s ongoing tax payments, the tax revenues generated from employees’ wages and the sale of Apple products.

    Apple specifically laid out in the press release their plans to create 20,000 new jobs through hiring at their current campuses as well as the creation of new ones.

    “Apple expects to invest over $30 billion in capital expenditures in the US over the next five years and create over 20,000 new jobs through hiring at existing campuses and opening a new one. Apple already employs 84,000 people in all 50 states,” the press release reads.


    A GBH research note revealed in January that Apple would be bringing $200 billion in foreign cash back to the United States as a result of the GOP tax reform bill.

    “With Apple & Cook set to repatriate roughly $200 billion of cash based on our estimates we believe accelerated buybacks, another dividend hike, and potentially larger M&A will be the trifecta of benefits shareholders could expect to see in 2018,” the research note read.

    Moving production of the Ram pickup truck to Mexico was a mistake, Fiat Chrysler’s chief executive officer, Sergio Marchionne, said Tuesday.
    In answer to a question from CNBC, Marchionne said:

    The heavy-duty truck, at least in Chrysler’s case, was moved to Mexico in 2008. Ninety percent plus of what gets produced out of Mexico gets sold in the United States. I think this notion of making a car which has got nearly 100 percent utilization in the United States is a bit bizarre. I think it should have never been moved.

    Last week, Fiat Chrysler announced that it was moving production of the Ram to Michigan, which it says will create thousands of jobs.

    “Repatriation of the heavy-duty Ram was owed. We had to correct the mistake of 2008,” Marchionne said.


    The Trump administration’s pro-business stance and the recently enacted tax cuts played an important role in the car company’s decision, stated Marchionne.

    “We are working in an environment which is a lot more beneficial, that’s much more pro-business than it’s been in a long time. Tax reform is going to compensate some of the cost differential in building the car here, as opposed to building it in Mexico,” Marchionne said

    The CEO of a Florida-based software company is making sure his employees know the reason for their fattened paychecks.
    CEO Sheldon Wolf, the founder of Tampa-based software developer Spellex Corporation, made sure that President Trump would be credited for the tax cut bonus by ensuring that the “memo” section of each $1,000 bonus check reads, “Trump Tax Cut and Jobs Act,” Fox News reported.

    Wolf told Fox & Friends that although his company is small, he was inspired by larger companies, such as AT&T and Bank of America, which decided to share the benefits of Trump’s tax reform package with their employees.

    “I thought, ‘Well, what about us smaller companies, companies with less than 100 employees or less than even 50 employees? We could do the same thing,'” Wolf said. “I wanted to do it because I’m excited about the new tax plan from Trump and the GOP, and I wanted to share the wealth, as they say.”


    “[It] plainly said, ‘This is why you’re getting this check, because of the change in the new tax plan,'” Wolf added. “I don’t think they’re particularly fans of President Trump, but nobody was complaining. They were all happy.”

    Spellex Corporation is the latest company to join the hundreds of employers offeringbonuses from $1,000 to $2,000 or giving other employee incentives due to the tax reform legislation Trump signed into law.

    Some of the companies that announced they would be giving their employees bonuses or other financial incentives include American Airlines, AT&T, Fiat Chrysler, and Wells Fargo.

    One of the things I hear that pisses me off every time is people are so comfortable saying "I can't". Too many people are so comfortable with defeat they don't even try. And 'obozo hussein saying there is no magic wand is exactly the defeatist attitude the left needs to spread to keep their base lazy and angry.

    The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is one of the key economic constructs where DC politicians show their UniParty corporate stripes. [Another is immigration usurpation] The professional political class within both parties are aligned in common cause to retain both open-border immigration access (cheap labor), and multinational corporation control over North American Trade.

    Decades of carefully constructed legislation, written by corporate lobbyists to the benefit of their crony-constituents on Wall Street, are at risk from President Trump’s America-First economic trade platform which includes exiting NAFTA.

    Democrats and Republicans who have been purchased by the massive lobbying of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are in direct confrontation with President Trump on this issue.

    WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that terminating the North American Free Trade Agreement would result in the “best deal” to revamp the 24-year-old trade pact with Canada and Mexico in favor of U.S. interests.

    Lawmakers as well as agricultural and industrial groups have warned Trump not to quit NAFTA, but he said that may be the outcome.


    “We’re renegotiating NAFTA now. We’ll see what happens. I may terminate NAFTA,” Trump said in an interview with Reuters.

    “A lot of people are going to be unhappy if I terminate NAFTA. A lot of people don’t realize how good it would be to terminate NAFTA because the way you’re going to make the best deal is to terminate NAFTA. But people would like to see me not do that,” he said.

    Trump’s comments come less than a week before trade negotiators from the United States, Canada and Mexico meet in Montreal for the sixth of seven scheduled rounds of negotiations to update NAFTA.

    The talks are viewed as pivotal for the success of the NAFTA renegotiation effort because major differences remain over aggressive U.S. demands on autos, dispute settlement and a five-year sunset clause — proposals that some business groups have labeled “fatal.” (read more)

    It simply cannot be overstated how far the UniParty is willing to go in their effort to keep the U.S. economy restrained through the lies and deception at the heart of NAFTA. There are trillions at stake.

    The multinational corporations, and specifically the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (Tom Donohue), are willing to wage thermonuclear war against President Trump on this issue; and on immigration. There is a massive disconnect between what is in Americas’ best interest and what is in the best interest of the multinational corporations and financial class.

    President Donald Trump is under tremendous pressure, and receiving jaw-dropping threats, from the corporations that benefit from NAFTA – along with threats from purchased politicians who have taken hundreds of millions in lobbyist payments from them.

    The stakes are so high and the corporate influence so strong, there is nothing the opposition will not do to stop President Trump from exiting NAFTA.


    There’s probably only a few thousand people who understand the severity of this issue and comprehend how far these interests are willing to go to stop Trump. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is out of bounds. There are many issues important to them, but NAFTA is their holy grail of economic usurpation.

    These professional republicans in DC and State Government will destroy any election to punish POTUS Trump if he withdraws. Those in charge of the most powerful levers of politics will target the full weight of all weaponized government against President Trump, and against his administration.

    The stakes on this issue are all financial; and when the outcomes are purely financial, the hatred from those attached to that outcome is exponentially more dangerous.

    Watch the next few days and weeks closely, we’ll see it.

    This group is willing to inflict harm, actual physical harm, against the family and interests of Donald Trump if that will fulfill their objectives. They are cold, calculating, and dangerous people.

    This fight is where Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, George W Bush and Bill Clinton join hands to destroy the risk that is Donald Trump. The entire apparatus of politics and money will align for a singularity of purpose.

    The U.S. economy keeps churning up new signals of sustained strength.
    Jobless Claims. Filing for unemployment benefits fell to the lowest level in almost 45 years, Labor Department figures showed Thursday.

    Jobless claims fell by 41,oooo to 220,00, far below the 249,000 expected by economists. That’s the lowest level since 1973. The drop in claims suggests that employers are holding on to employees as the labor market tightens. The numbers may also reflect companies’ reaction to the tax cuts, with some employers being hesitant to let employees go so soon after a massive corporate tax cut.

    On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve’s beige book cited anecdotal evidence that some employers are having trouble finding workers to fill positions in manufacturing and construction. That could point toward rising wages as employers offer better compensation to lure away already employed workers.


    It’s likely that the official unemployment rate, already very low at 4.1 percent, could fall even further.

    Fourth Quarter GDP Looks Stronger. The Atlanta Fed’s latest forecast for gross domestic product, a broad measure of economic output, rose Thursday to 3.4 percent. It was boosted by the Fed’s release of industrial production figures a day earlier. The New York Fed’s forecast, due to be updated Friday, stands at 3.9 percent.

    These are some of the final forecasts of GDP before the official figures are released January 26.

    Manufacturing Growth Still Strong. The Philadelphia Fed’s survey of manufacturing business showed that this sector continues to grow in January, although a few measures slipped below the very strong figures for December. Businesses reported an increase in manufacturing employment overall, with 24 percent saying they hired more workers and just eight percent saying they employed fewer. The average workweek also increased, indicating increased activity among those employed in manufacturing.

    The outlook for the future looks strong. Seventy-two percent of firms reported that they expect an increase in underlying demand in the first quarter of this year, with 12 percent saying the increase would be significant. Nearly 70 percent expect to increase production

    It's become increasingly obvious that Shmuck Schumer picked a fight he can't win.

    Trump is on fire this morning. First, he's calling for the Senate to go full nuclear, which would render the minority completely obsolete. Just a few years ago I'd have been completely against this. The senate after all us supposed to be the deliberative body.

    My opinion is changed because the Dems are no longer the loyal opposition. They are working on soft coupe de tat with their seditious "resist" strategies.

    Who doesn't believe that if the Dems had the Senate majority that they wouldn't do it.

    I appreciate how tramp is framing the discussion re the closure,

    making it all about the dems and the illegals, while telling the amerikan people, choose one

    interesting enough, nothing is coming out or being reported from the red party apparatus
