WOW! Clinton Global Initiative Is Shutting Down – Will Fire 22 Employees!

    Oh, my!

The Clinton Global Initiative is shutting down!

On 12 January, The Clinton Foundation just did a WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) filing. It says the reason for the firing of 22 employees is “Discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initiative.”

Here’s a screenshot of the filing:

You can see the full filing on the State of New York website by clicking here.

    Twenty-two workers are affected.

Clinton Global Initiative closing down! https://labor.ny.gov/app/warn/details.asp?id=5801 …

    4:14 PM - 14 Jan 2017

In September, it was announced that the Clinton Global Initiative was cutting back.

    Politico reported in September:

CGI at its peak employed around 200 full-time staffers. Many of those have sought — or accepted — new jobs in recent months as the fate of the initiative became uncertain. It’s not clear how many remain employed, precisely how many jobs are being eliminated at the end of the year or how many would be retained in 2017. A Clinton Foundation spokesman would not answer those questions, but he defended the foundation’s handling of CGI’s wind-down.

“All full-time CGI employees will have their jobs with benefits at least through the end of the calendar year,” said the spokesman. The foundation is providing departing staff with “a wide range of resources that include career coaching, access to job leads in a variety of fields, and resume and job search strategy,” the spokesman said, explaining, “we informed CGI staff of this transition more than four months before the end of the year, and have provided information about CGI-related roles that will continue.”

Now, it looks like those who made it past the end of the year are being fired, too.

With no more influence, the Clinton Empire is crumbling.

    It’s over!

Wasn't it NY that told Trump he couldn't shut down his charity because it was under investigation?

I'd think that would apply to,the Clinton's as well

Media Recommendations To Sean Spicer and Trump Communication Team…
Posted on January 15, 2017 by sundance

After 18 months of getting the presidential election completely wrong, not a single mainstream media outlet has looked honestly in the mirror, admitted their inherent flaws and committed to any change in approach, management or journalistic personnel. Exactly the opposite, they’ve quadrupled down on the same old – same old.

Consider a media request for access as you would any employment application:

♦ Drug test anyone who requests credentials for the White House press. Conduct background checks, criminal checks and credit checks via a third party security vendor. Dismiss any applicant who does not pass a strict background check.

♦ Keep using twitter and facebook daily, or as determined to send direct messaging to a news-consuming public. Keep using social media, and/or any alternate communications platforms to communicate with the American People.

♦ Establish a strict dress code for credentialed media. No casual days, ever. 100% business professional, 100% of the time. No business casual, ever.

♦ Discontinue the live-feed broadcast of the Daily White House briefing. Stop allowing a press briefing to be the daily news lede ‘in-and-unto-itself’. Only conduct the WH press briefing when POTUS is actually in the White House. Set an earlier time for the press briefing – ex. 7:30am daily, for a set amount of time, ex. 1hr. Deliver the day’s bullet-pointed news as it pertains to the White House and current events, answer questions and be done.

♦ Draw a distinction between “interviews” and “press conferences”. Pressers should be short question and answer sessions; eliminate long-winded background set-ups for questions in press conferences. Background expository prior to a question is an interview technique during an interview, not a press conference.

♦ Eliminate “exclusive interviews”, which are notorious for editing and disinformation. When granting interviews bring in two media entities to conduct an interview; one each from either side of the political continuum, and they can interview together – taking turns on the questions.

♦ Ten hour work days. 7am to 5pm. Use TWO Continuous, Alternating, Press Secretaries, not just one. Focused intensity and urgency.

♦ Have a quarterly lottery for press briefing media attendees who pass the background check and application process. Equal opportunity participation. Seating = first come first seated, general seating, every day. Doors close promptly 6:55am, late = shut out.

♦ Drop the traveling Presidential press pool completely. Give the press a daily schedule, and then make media use their own resources to cover the events therein as they deem needed including air travel. Equal access without preferential treatment. This also includes foreign travel. The “credentialed press pool” only applies to White House pressers.

♦ When POTUS, V-POTUS, or cabinet officials travel, give first preference to local media, not national. Allow local reporters to ask questions pertaining to their community perspective on the event or engagement.

♦ Drop the insufferable White House Correspondent’s dinner fiasco. It’s a ridiculous and vulgar display; a bubble event, with no inherent value for the country. It is also a grotesque exhibition of disconnected indulgence. There’s too much work to be done, just go about doing it.

♦ Engage the legacy media as a communications unit. Deliver the Trump message as a communications unit. Have a self-broadcasted roundtable meeting of communications officials with a rotating group of media invited to attend. Maybe every other Sunday etc.

♦ Have POTUS give monthly EVENING press conferences; with part of the presser containing an ongoing and established outline to share progress on agenda. Perhaps half for ongoing efforts, half for current events.

♦ Re-establish a media work ethic by setting high standards, high expectations and a zero tolerance for laziness. Make the media rise to the level of professionalism required by never letting circumstances dictate your standards.

♦ Set an example with the recent display of CNN’s Jim Acosta. He can either write a public apology outlining his rude recent behavior, or he can lose his White House credentials. Make shame a great motivator again.

That is Hope Hicks, Trump's 27 year old shy and quiet communications and media genius. Hillary's team had 10-12 people fucking up the job Hope did and does all by herself.
She never applied for the job, she had no experience in politics. Yet Trump picked her over hundreds of others who wanted the job.

Hope Charlotte Hicks is the former press secretary for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, current spokeswoman for Trump's presidential transition team, and incoming White House Director of Strategic Communications.

If you want to talk to Trump you have to go through Hope.
Oh yeah. She is freaking gorgeous too. . . . :2 thumbs up:

IMF REPORT: U.S. Economic Growth Expected to Boom Due to Trump Policies

    Ryan Saavedra Jan 16th, 2017 8:01 pm 54 Comments

The IMF Projects Big Boom In U.S. Economy
It’s no secret that the United States economy has performed average at best under Barack Obama. Supporters of the President point to indicators like unemployment rates to defend the President while completely ignoring the fact that there are 95,000,000 Americans not in the workforce.

With runaway national debt approaching $20,000,000,000,000 and more Americans on food-stamps than under any other President in American history, it’s hard to say that the economy has been even average at best.

In the two-months Donald Trump has spent as the President-Elect he has already scored numerous wins for the American economy from companies like Ford, Alibaba, IBM, GM (announcement to be made this week), Chrysler-Fiat, Amazon, and Carrier just to name a few.

Now the International Monetary Fund has released a report that shows that the U.S. economy is expected to boom over the next two years under President Trump.

The IMF says that after a lackluster 2016 which had a lousy 1.6 percent economic growth rate, that 2017 is projected to have a 2.3 percent growth rate followed up by a 2.5 percent growth rate in 2018.

    From The IMF:

After a lackluster out-turn in 2016, economic activity is projected to pick up pace in 2017 and 2018…

…This forecast is based on the assumption of a changing policy mix under a new administration in the United States and its global spillovers…

…The projection for the United States is the one with the highest likelihood among a wide range of possible scenarios. It assumes a fiscal stimulus that leads growth to rise to 2.3 percent in 2017 and 2.5 percent in 2018,

Hyundai To Boost Investment In The US To $3.1 Billion Over 5 Years

    by Tyler Durden
    Jan 17, 2017 8:23 AM

Having been unleashed with a series of angry Trump tweets, the outpouring of carmarker investments in the US has turned into a veritable torrent, and just hours after GM announced it would invest $1 billion in new US factories, adding 1,000 jobs, Korea's Hyundai Motor Group said it also plans to lift U.S. investment by 50% to $3.1 billion over five years and may build a new plant there. It has become the latest auto firm to announce fresh spending following Ford, Fiat, Toyota and GM, after President-elect Donald Trump threatened to tax imports.

As a reminder, Trump has repeatedly warned of a 35% tax on vehicles imported from Mexico, where many automakers have taken advantage of the country's lower labor costs. Toyota Motor, Ford, and Fiat Chrysler have all recently unveiled new U.S. investment plans, while over the weekend German automakers were the latest to come under fire from Trump, provoking a blistering response from Angela Merkel.

According to Reuters, Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors which make up the Hyundai Motor Group have not been directly criticized by Trump but they may have felt vulnerable because among major brands, they have one of the lowest ratios of cars built in the United States to cars sold.

To be sure, just like all other carmakers who reacted to pressure by Trump, only to deny they did so, Chung Jin-haeng, president of the group, denied the plan was due to, drumroll, pressure from Trump, adding that a new U.S. factory would depend on whether demand improved under the next U.S. administration.

"We have to be committed to the U.S. market - a strategically important market which can make or break our global success," he told reporters in Seoul on Tuesday.

Hyundai plans to spend the $3.1 billion to retool existing factories in the United States and boost research on self-driving cars, artificial intelligence and other future technologies, Chung said.

He also said that the group is considering a new U.S. factory to build high-margin, high-demand models such as a U.S.-specific sport utility vehicle and a Genesis premium vehicle. That would come on top of Hyundai's factory in Montgomery, Alabama, and a Kia plant in West Point, Georgia.

Analyst, meanwhile, are skeptical if this presidential pre-appeasement will work:

Ko Tae-bong, an auto analyst at Hi Investment & Securities, said that while the increased investment would please Trump, it would be risky move to invest in a new U.S. plant. "This could be a trap for Hyundai," he said, citing peaking U.S. market demand and the group's sagging global sales. Kia also has a plant in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, at which Hyundai plans to start making cars this year.

But Chung said the group was 'agonizing' over the Mexico plant.

It just started production last year as Trump threatened a big tax on imports from Mexico and as U.S. demand for smaller cars, which Mexican plants tend to specialize in, is shrinking.

Kia said last year that it plans to build 400,000 vehicles a year at its Mexico plant, but a spokesman said on Tuesday that the output figure was subject to change.

Meanwhile, the biggest Korean carmaker is facing rising global pressure Last year Hyundai and Kia posted a 2 percent decline in combined annual global sales - the first fall in nearly two decades, although the duo have forecast sales to rebound 5 percent in 2017.

Ms. Twitchy Michelle Malkin Discusses President Elect Trump…
Posted on January 16, 2017 by sundance

Ted Cruz advocate, Salem Media Communications corporate benefactor and Mark Levin acolyte, Michelle Malkin, discusses President-elect Donald Trump with Lou Dobbs. Video via GatewayPundit:

We’re rapidly entering a very familiar conservative complacency phase again. The last two visits through this exact geography were January to March 2010, and April through July 2014.

It takes a village of idiots to destroy an electoral victory…. or pass the patriot act. Watch, or skip to the credits and look for the screenplay by the usual suspects. Thad Cochran is Senator Keysor Soze.

Within the complacency phase interested observers generally forget how much corporate money is behind all of the “visible conservative opinions”, and how they are beholden to their benefactors to paint a very specific color of camouflage to the Potemkin village that disguises the UniParty.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Paul Ryan (Eric Cantor, John Boehner), Kevin McCarthy, Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn etc. cannot exist without an audience willing to stand at CPAC and applaud the Omnibus spending bill construction crew.

Malkin etc. will customarily lead the cheering, hat in hand. They haz plans.

This is the complacency phase where Malkin, Levin, Limbaugh, Erickson, Hannity, National Review, ALL the crony-constitutionalists et al, become valuable to the corporate GOPe machine by donning the overalls of loyal opposition….

Yell louder. Pontificate harder. Protest much, yet accomplish zilch, zippo, nada.

After watching the show, Pavlovs’ battered seal clappers exit the arena dosed, yet again, to ensure they don’t notice nothing ever gets accomplished. But, don’t forget to buy the books folks… wait for the bell, pull lever, get pellet – go nap.

Watch! If this is your first time to the CONservative corporate media rodeo, you’ll see it unfold in real time. It’s as predictable as Dana Loesch selling Superbeets.

Thank God, President Donald Trump knows this phase also. It will be interesting to see Trump call out the feckless weak-kneed, financially dependent, squish.

Hopefully, Bannon/Trump will rip all their asses, build the damn wall despite their protestations, begin deporting illegals, watch Obamacare implode if the Milquetoast republicans won’t repeal/replace, force a budget and throw our voting grenade into the heart of the machine destroying the beast along with the various ‘Robert’s-The-Bruce’.

    But, that’s a big ask.

    Fireworks?

    We shall see.

WINNING AGAIN! Bayer Promises Trump Multi-Billion Dollar Investment In The U.S., New Jobs

    Ryan Saavedra Jan 17th, 2017 2:08 pm 2 Comments

    Can’t Stop, Won’ Stop Winning

Okay, this is becoming ridiculous. President-Elect Donald Trump is winning so much for the American people that by the time we finish up a story on a company that has decided to create news jobs here in the U.S. or a company that will not ship jobs out of the country, a new story emerges of yet another company that will be doing the same thing.

Now the German chemical giant Bayer AG is promising President-Elect Donald Trump that it will spend billions of dollars here in the U.S. on research and development, creating new jobs.

    From Fox Business:

“After [Trump’s] meeting with Bayer and Monsanto CEOs, Bayer has committed to $8 billion in new U.S. research and development. Bayer will also keep 100% of Monsanto’s 9,000 plus U.S. workforce, and add 3,000 new U.S. high-tech jobs,” incoming White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said during a press conference call.

Separately, the companies promised to spend $16 billion for research and development in agriculture over the next six years with half of those funds dedicated to the U.S. “This is an investment in innovation and people that will create several thousand new high-tech, well-paying jobs after integration is complete, jobs that will keep America at the forefront of agricultural innovation and that serve U.S. farmers by delivering better products and services faster” according to a joint statement released by Bayer’s CEO Werner Baumann and Monsanto chief Hugh Grant.

With all of the jobs I am bringing back into the U.S. (even before taking office), with all of the new auto plants coming back into our…..
country and with the massive cost reductions I have negotiated on military purchases and more, I believe the people are seeing "big stuff."

Trump promised that he would do all he could for the American worker. In his last rally in the early morning of election day November 8th in Grand Rapids Michigan, he ended with this historic quote:

I am with you. I will fight for you and I will win for you. I promise.”

Trump is keeping his promise. As of today Trump has added or saved nearly 1.2 million jobs.

WashPost: ‘Never Trump’ Republicans Complain About Never Getting a Job at the New White House

    by KATIE MCHUGH17 Jan 20171,500

Since the election, “Never Trump” means never getting a job in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, and that’s a bad thing, according to a new Washington Post article.

The article channels the post-election laments of establishment Republicans who signed the two main “Never Trump” letters during the GOP primaries.

Before he won, the conversation was, ‘We really would love for you to change your mind and join us,’ ” Peter Feaver, a National Security Council special adviser under President George W. Bush, said of informal talks with Trump aides. Feaver, who signed both letters, added that, “Since he won . . . the conversation is, ‘There likely will be a blacklist of people who signed the letters who won’t themselves be eligible for a post.'”

The “Never Trump” Republicans signed public letters saying Trump “would be the most reckless president in American history.” Now that Trump is about to take office, they’re prepared to nobly serve their country, but only if Trump will come to his senses and hire them.

The Washington Post portrays the routine job consideration of applicant’s loyalty as something sinister and frightening as it presents responses from Republicans surprised they are now unwelcome. According to the Post:

“It’s hostile,” said this person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of further retribution. “It’s not just that we’re frozen out… I was told they said there was an enemies list.”

Still, the Post’s editors are standing up for the Republicans they like.

“The president-elect has virtually no experience in national security and foreign policy, and his transition team could presumably benefit from the broadest pool of applicants for the influential appointive positions in the State Department, Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security,” the Post snipes. “[T]he purportedly blacklisted figures report to their jobs at Washington law firms and think tanks in a state of indefinite limbo as their colleagues, some working in the same offices, are flirting with potential administration jobs.”

Unhappily for those in the D.C. holding pens, the Trump administration has rejected much of Washington’s think-tank culture and is staffing key posts with military and business leaders.

“The president-elect favors people who have been successful in the private sector and amassed personal wealth over those who have achieved prominence in academic or policy fields,” the Post writes in another article. “Those close to him… see think tanks as part of a Washington culture that has failed to implement good governance, while becoming beholden to donors.” The same elite that attended the same schools, lives ensconced in the same wealthy zip codes, holds the same narrow views on trade, immigration, and war, are now competing with an alternative elite brought in by Trump.

Given their vitriol during the campaign, and the weeping and gnashing of teeth after Trump’s election night win, getting passed over for an administration job should not be a surprise.

But the political class thinks it’s indispensable, and there would be no consequences for them. They believed the 2016 election would be a polite argument between the Clinton and Bush dynasties—and Trump would never win.

What the Washington Post calls “establishment all-stars” find themselves shut out of shaping the future of the country with no one to blame but themselves.

    This is great two things.
    1) These never Trumpers ( neo-cons) will be working for democrats soon.
    2) maybe the five richest counties in the U.S. that surround Washington D.C. will be poorer in 4 years and that money goes to the mid west instead.
    3) Lindsey Graham is a scum bag!

The gift shops are filled with Trump supporters in Washington DC this week.

MAGA hats and cups are a huge hit in the downtown shops.

Unfortunately the stores pre-ordered Hillary Clinton Inaugural merchandise.

UNDER BUDGET: Trump Team to Return 20% of Unused Transition Costs to Treasury

JANUARY 19, 2017 BY RUFUS SHINRA 10 COMMENTS

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
With the official swearing in of Donald Trump less than 24 hours away, the president-elect is wasting no time following up on his campaign promise to reduce government spending and start completing projects “under budget”.

Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer held a briefing with reporters today to deliver an update on the transition process and readiness of the president-elect to take office. He started by introducing Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who told reporters that the process has been completed “on schedule and under budget”.

“We will actually return some 20 percent of taxpayer funding back to the U.S. Treasury, and that is exactly in keeping with the president-elect’s expectations going forward,” Pence said. He continued by stating that Trump knew how to “sharpen his pencil” (despite how mainstream reporters have been portraying him) and they are pleased to announce they will be returning a portion of the taxpayer money allocated for their transition costs back to the U.S. Treasury.

survey conducted by the Government Business Council and Government Executive, both groups that track trends in government.

Half of those surveyed said that Trump’s business experience would “hinder his management of the federal government” while two-thirds of people think Trump’s business relationships pose a conflict of interest.

Half of those who said they were leaving are retirement-eligible and have considered an early retirement, while 37 percent of people would look for a job outside federal government, the analysis said.

Only one percent of respondents said they would quit without having a plan for their next move, while an additional 12 percent of people said they were unsure of what they would do.

A survey by the same groups taken before the election showed that 35 percent of government workers would consider quitting their jobs if Trump won the election.

Trump fires 20% and 28% quit will be a good start on redundant bullshit employee reduction.
80% would be sweet and ought to be the goal.

All Things Related To ‘Climate Change’ Deleted From WhiteHouse.Gov At Noon Today!

    Cristina Laila Jan 20th, 2017 2:37 pm 62 Comments

All traces of the Obama Administration’s radical ‘Climate Change’ agenda were deleted from WhiteHouse.gov at noon today.

    According to Climate Depot:

WASHINGTON, DC — A climate of change! Perhaps the most stark contrast between the Obama administration and the Trump administration is on “global warming”. The climate differences were visible today as the White House website was scrubbed of all references to “climate change” at exactly noon today just as President Donald Trump was sworn in.

(Above Photo and Featured Photo Jason Koebler)

Global Warming which morphed into Climate Change is one of the biggest scams in modern times. Al Gore and other charlatans have made BILLIONS of dollars off of the Climate Change lie.

Thankfully, Donald Trump has been very vocal about his skepticism regarding Climate Change. It is morning in America again!

Report: U.S. Announces Withdrawal From TPP Within 24 Hours of Trump Inauguration…
Posted on January 22, 2017 by sundance

…and other fun stuff discovered walking through this new winner wonderland.

    [IMG][IMG]

Making good on a consistent campaign promise, and in absolute rebuke to the best laid plans of Tom Donohue, the Asian Pacific Nikkei reports:

WASHINGTON — Soon after President Donald Trump was sworn in, his administration announced the U.S. withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a trade pact championed by former President Barack Obama and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The White House on Friday also wasted no time in declaring a renegotiation of the North Atlantic Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA. (more)

It would appear the economic plan continued before the actual nomination is proceeding according to a well designed plan. The elimination of TPP is a complete rebuke of The Big Club.

But wait, oh it gets better.

    [IMG][IMG]

For the past six weeks I have been staring at an index card stuck in the middle of our research white board which simply states: “Why Mulvaney?” It’s been nagging at me, because choosing Mick “Cantalopes” Mulvaney for OMB director just didn’t make sense.

Then a friendly cow walked up and licked me square on the face.

My friendly bovine asked three questions:

♦ 1.) “What makes you think President Donald Trump wasn’t aware of the Mulvaney housekeeper issue“? ♦ 2.) “Remember how candidate Trump shot the arrow into the Achilles heel of Bush and Rubio’s Wall Street alignment“? and ♦ 3.) “Isn’t Paul Ryan quite literally, and similarly, attached to the Mulvaney pick”?

After an ah-ha moment I grinningly wiped the slobber from my noggin, and I must now apologize for my one-dimensional-chess, shallow thoughtlessness and previously expressed position.

While it is prudent to hide the smile and wait for the predictably toxic OMB confirmation hearing. In the interest of belaying concern, we might point out the Dem side of the confirmation hearing is not accidentally being led -quite loudly- by Senator Chuck Schumer who would like nothing more than to have a notch on his partisan anti-confirmation belt.

The Senate minority leader needs a win.

    Schumer being a New Yorker n’ all – nudge-nudge, wink-wink,.. say no more, say-no-more.

Oh, how the media would gleefully play up such a defeat, and how President Trump would be protesting the loss, almost pearl-clutchy if done just right. The optics of political opposition toward other cabinet appointments necessarily decreases; the dems already carrying a scalp to prove their oppositional bona-fides.

Additionally, considering all the angles, the first Trump budget is due by constitutional requirement to congress by March 31st. The media never held Obama accountable for this deadline, and he missed it in six of the eight years in office. Not a single Obama budget ever passed congress even though Dems controlled the House and Senate for two of those proposals.

Heck, after year #5 in office the media quit even mentioning the absence of an Obama budget, and worse yet the last two fiscal years Obama never even presented a proposal that mattered. Boehner, then Ryan, went along with CR’s, totally eliminated the debt ceiling and passed record setting Omnibus bills.

However, we can easily predict EPIC media protestations if a Trump budget doesn’t meet the legal deadline for submission; and we can only imagine how the media will SCREAM about Trump not having one.

♦ Phase Two – Walking out the play…. brings the OMB Director (Mulvaney or other), and the Paul Ryan budget approval process, immediately into play. If Ryan doesn’t get the Trump budget from fellow consort Mulvaney’s architecture, Ryan’s going to get it from a lesser ideological aligned, non GOPe, OMB director. Interesting paradox.

♦ Phase Three – Most predictably meaning a Trump budget proposal more likely at loggerheads with what Ryan would prefer. Where “loggerheads” is most likely defined as President Trump not spending enough on the stuff which will make Ryan’s Wall Street UniParty lobbyists happy etc.

♦ Phase Four – The above back-and-forth leads to a potential continuing resolution, or impasse of sorts. Which could ultimately mean Trump is in the same non-budget position as Obama, at least in the short-term.

In that “short-term” the president gets to prioritize what aspects of government are funded…. Oh, hurt me. Please don’t throw me in the Briar Patch, please.

    see where this is headed?

Tell me where President Trump loses in all of the assembled variables?

Either Mulvaney is confirmed albeit usefully damaged goods, and as OMB Director complies with Trump’s construction priority, setting up friction with Ryan…. which ends with Trump in control of spending prioritization anyway….. Or, Mulvaney doesn’t pass confirmation, Schumer is happy, and by direct extension Mulvaney’s primary advocate, Paul Ryan, is usefully wounded in the process…. which ends with Trump in control of spending prioritization.
