10mm is way more common nowadays. All ammo manufactures sell 10mm auto ammo.

Is a 10mm the same caliber as a 0.40?

The Glock 29 is my favorite walking in the woods pistol for mountain lions, black bear, Javelina boars, Mexican wolves, maybe a rapid fox, and 2-legged God-only-knows-who we might encounter in the woods. Yes we have them all here. My wife has seen a bear run through our backyard and neighbors have seen mountain lions on several occasions. Do you reeeally want to carry a puny 9mm? Not me. Especially when I have my grandson with me. Urban dwellers don't understand. With a extended grip sleeve and 15 round magazine loaded with 200gr hollow points I am pretty well armed.

Have not seen 10mm on the shelves since last Summer, along with a few others.

Been shooting a 10mm Colt Delta Elite since 1988. 10mm is a bad ass round!

You can't put their heads on sticks if you use 10mm. Not enough left to tell it was a head

What would a viking say?

Just watched this again two nights ago.

I thought we already went through the 10mm / 40cal phase and reverted to good ol' 9mm.
Yep, Plenty of 9mm ammo already squirreled away. Why add another machine that don't like to eat what you already got ?
Especially in this ammo shortage world.

From the article itself: "... If you are familiar with the M&P 2.0 pistols, adding a millimeter won’t change a thing – except for your ammunition budget projections".

Yeah, it's price gouging across the board with ammo. I saw a box of 380 target ammo for $40. $65 for 44 Mag, and 1000 rounds of low end 223 for $400. Maybe buy a press and stock up on powder and primers when times are good.

i think 41 ammo is even harder to find. Plus 6 vs 16 ;) although the 10 is pretty wimpy compared to the mighty 41.

Since the 10mm Bullet diameter is the same as a 40 S&W (.401) they are not to hard to find. The brass and primers are a whole different matter.

You can buy as much 10mm as you want right now on SGAmmo. Hollow points, FMJ it's all there. It also shows up regularly in my area Dunhams Sports.

.41 magnum provides better ballistics from mild to hot loads and a far wider choice of bullet type than 10mm. It is the magnum of choice for discerning gentlemen :) Also, wheelguns have more class :p

All joking aside, 10mm is great, but I already have multiple handguns chambered in .41 magnum and .41 special, and I find that anything I could do with a 10mm, I can do better with a properly tailored .41 magnum or special load.

My favorite 41 is probably my 1985 Lew Horton 657 or maybe my late 70's 57 or maybe even my RedHawk. My favorite 10mm has got to be 1 of my dan wessons or my delta or my smith 1006 or maybe my long slide fusion, I dont know. gonna need to pick up one of those M&P's though!

10mm is closer to .45acp than 9mm. Makes it a great pistol caliber carbine round. PSA would sell a bunch in AR pattern with 10" barrels that use Glock mags.

Some 10mm available at SG and Target Sports, but price per round is up there.
Underwood has some 10mm loads in stock, black friday discount code BF21 for 15% off
brings the ppr down to slightly over $1/per, but Underwood is full power 10mm :)
