I say LESS THAN 10 years. But I am always optimistic that way.

Cutting their nose off despite their face. That is a SHAME.

Let the blacks in SA starve and die of thirst from their own stupidity.
Why a single white person is still there baffles me.
The writing has been on the wall for a long time.
They should have got out long ago. There is obviously no future for them in South Africa except death and destruction.

The only non-white successful businesses in South Africa are in the Indian Culture.
Once it is obvious to them the Indian culture will pack-up and move back to India.

If the Boers do move to Russia Russia will definitely give the US a run for the Agriculture Money of the World for generations to come.

Consider how difficult it would be to leave a land that you grew up in, was settled by your fathers father father, and improved and farmed by your family for a century or more.

I have considered it for years. Again, it is death or leave. They have the choice thrust upon them. Not good, obviously, but it's time to check out.
All my grandparents left everything in Europe to come to the USA, the families had been in Europe for all of recorded history. They left and nobody was trying to put a burning tire over their heads. At some point you have to come to your senses and move on.

All that and it's probably true that all those white SA's love all their black neighbors and friends and farm workers. There are no doubt a lot of good people down there who get along well with the white folks. There are just more and more of them whose minds are being poisoned by the communist, hate whitey crowd. It might be one of those situations where you just can't believe it's going to get worse. But, it is going to get worse. They need to pack up everything they can carry with them and flee to anyplace, like Russia or Australia, that will take them and start over. It's sad, but you need to preserve your life and family.

I'm not saying they need to stay, hell I'd get out of there as fast as I could if I were in that situation.

All I'm saying is that those folks have a long history of successful landmanship, and how difficult that must be to be forced to leave.

All opinions can change at the wrong end of a gun.
It is a shame. It is such a beautiful country.
At the time I was there all the people were very friendly and hospitable.

For along time I wanted to go back. NOT NOW!!!

Amazing how fast the coloreds can trash a country in one generation. Whitey should get on the next chopper out before he can't. The best hope for SA is China going in and taking over. They will execute all the rabble rousers and start over. Leroy will be back living in the trees before too long.

That is China's Modus Operandi in the Western African nations. They are there scarfing up the natural resources China wants. The Chinese are in the bush buying mines and workers from village chiefs who pay close to slave labor rates. They deal with the Government when going after crude oil.
The Chinese are not interested in the cities and high population areas.

That's what they report. They landed there and no one that was using the land as farm land.

Here is a native who explains the history.
h ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rASKrisLXS4

Kind of like the Native Americans, the Africans were using the land as "Range Land" for animals to roam and plants to grow. If you owned a 600 acre woodland forest for hunting and foraging, should I be allowed to take for farmland? I do believe this will be Zimbabwe all over again though.

These Boer families already know Dutch, English, and a dialect or two of Tribal languages. Now they'll have to learn Russian too !
These kids have a great future anywhere they go or work.

It’s a brilliant move by the one who is using it to consolidate power.
Until they realize that it's a lazy and stupidity problem and run the country into the ground.

Kinda like give the controls over to a student pilot that can't land.

Well, With the Boers packing up for foreign pastures the business Indians will not be far behind if they have not started already. Most will head back to India and some will head to Canada and the U.S.
Both have good size, respectible communities those Indians will mesh right in with.

I have no issue with LEGAL Immigration.

This should solve all of South Africa's problems immediately.

I remember quite well after the whites gave up power, almost immediately, I read a story about the US handing over AID to South Africa. You know, the place that didn't need US Aid the day before. They were put on welfare as soon as they took power.

A parasite is a parasite be it a biologic, .gov, or people. It ultimately kills its host.

S.A. was a beautiful country. The surfers at Durban, Table Rock at Cape Town, my first view of wild penguins. And at the time all the people were friendly, sociable and helpful.

I believe that will be lost.

Start small, say 5% of the farm land, see if food production stays the same, if it goes down, stop and reverse course...oh well, starving in your own country without the foreign invaders will always be someone choice.

How is this ANY different than crazy libs calling for violence against anyone they don't agree with?
Isn't this the very same thing? If you build it we will destroy it. If you earn it we will take it.
If we don't like it we will remove it (monuments), protest it (POTUS just for one), demand you change to our way of thinking (Pretty much everything lib).

The Indians were brought to SA as sugarcane workers. Most are of the wrong caste to make anything in India.

As Land Confiscations Loom, South Africa Rules 300,000 Gun-Owners Turn Over Their Weapons

The Constitutional Court of South Africa recently ruled that 300,000 gun owners must turn in their firearms.
This judgement came in response to the North Gauteng High Court’s ruling in 2017 which said Section 24 and Section 28 of the Firearm’s Control Act were unconstitutional.
A report from The Citizen explains what Section 24 and Section 28 entail:
“Section 24 of the Act requires that any person who seeks to renew a licence must do so 90 days before its expiry date Section 28 stipulates that if a firearm licence has been cancelled‚ the firearm must be disposed of or forfeited to the state. A 60-day time frame was placed on its disposal, which was to be done through a dealer.”
Now that the High Court’s initial ruling has been overturned, gun owners who failed to renew their firearms licenses must hand in their firearms to the nearest police station, where authorities will then proceed to destroy them.
Many naïve political observers will paint this event as a casual gun control scheme, but any astute student of politics will recognize that the floodgates are now open for further encroachments – not only on the gun rights of South Africans, but also on others facets of theirs lives.
A look at South Africa’s current political climate will give us an idea of the potential ramifications of this gun control scheme.
Political Trouble Brewing in South Africa?
Though South Africa witnessed rising levels of economic freedom shortly after Apartheid ended in 1994, the country has taken a more interventionist path to economic development in recent years.
This situation is becoming more pronounced with the South African National Assembly recently voting 241-83 to amend the South African constitution to allow for land expropriation without compensation.
The socialist-leaning African National Congress (ANC) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) parties are leading the charge for expropriation under the banner of fixing racial disparities that have supposedly remained intact since Apartheid’s conclusion.
While land confiscation has not been officially finalized, South Africans should worry about the direction their country is going.
And how does gun control fit into this equation?
Gun Control: A Tool for Tyranny
No matter how socialist apologists rationalize it, the redistributionist agenda the South African government is pursuing will not be implemented passively. Ultimately, it must be carried out by force.
The kind of force socialists seek is a monopolized kind, which extreme forms of gun control like gun confiscation help facilitate.
The history of gun confiscation is one of repeated cases of tyranny.
From countries such as Cuba to the Soviet Union, aspiring demagogues have used gun confiscation to disarm the populace. Logically, an unarmed populace will put up little resistance against their tyrannical acts.
In South Africa’s case, farmers and their workers are already suffering ongoing attacks against their property. One could only imagine what it would be like for these persecuted farmers once they are stripped of their right to self-defense.
For many Americans who have enjoyed historically unprecedented gun rights, South Africa’s gun control experience may seem distant and strange.
But make no mistake about it, South Africa’s latest flirtation with gun control is not based on good intentions, especially when considering the political climate the country is enduring.
South Africa should serve as a fair warning to Americans of the dangerous consequences gun control poses.

See how were moving away from 'Expropriation without Compensation' to 'Land reform'?

Land reform policy gets backing from British Prime Minister Theresa May

British Prime Minister Theresa May told journalists at a business forum in Cape Town earlier on Tuesday that she welcomed SA’s approach to land reform.
May said Britain supported South Africa’s land reform programme, provided it is carried out legally.
She would discuss the issue with President Cyril Ramaphosa, she said.
“The UK has for some time now supported land reform. Land reform that is legal, that is transparent, that is generated through a democratic process,” May said in response to a reporter’s question.
"I will be talking about it with him later [on Tuesday] … but I welcome the comments he has already made about approaching land reform, bearing in mind the economic and social consequences … and that land reform will be no smash and grab,” May said.
Last week South Africa accused US President Donald Trump of stoking racial divisions after he said he had asked Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to study South African “land and farm seizures” and the “killing of farmers".
May is on a three-nation African tour ‚ with South Africa her first stop. She was set to visit Kenya and Nigeria as part of the visit. - Additional reporting by SowetanLive
