Voters in San Francisco successfully recalled three members of the city’s school board Tuesday, capping a campaign led by city parents upset the board had prioritized renaming schools instead of resuming in-person classes last year.

Board members Faauuga Moliga, Alison Collins, and board president Gabriela López were all recalled from their positions after a successful campaign by city parents upset by what they deemed misplaced priorities. Initial results, reported by the San Francisco Chronicle , showed each one received more than 70% of the vote share favoring a recall.

The board had sought to rename a number of district schools in 2020 whose names were deemed offensive, while making little effort to reopen classrooms to in-person instruction following pandemic-induced closures, infuriating parents who said the board should have been focused on re-opening schools.

The recall campaign counted San Francisco Mayor London Breed among its supporters, who in November said the “school Board’s priorities have often been severely misplaced” and that parents felt the board was ignoring them.

“It was clear from the start that this recall effort was a grassroots effort led by parents; that’s who got out there and collected the signatures,” Breed said at the time. “I am supporting the parents' call for change.”

The three recalled board members were generally seen as significantly more liberal than many other California elected officials. Among the schools the board had sought to rename was one named after sitting Democrat senator and former San Francisco mayor Dianne Feinstein.

Other schools the board tried to rename bore the names of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

With the successful recall, Breed will now have the opportunity to name the replacements for the three recalled board members, as the recall does not include replacement candidates.

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold was sued over the destruction of election records, failure to properly test voting equipment, and obstruction of independent election audits. The relief sought in this case is a full, independent forensic audit of Colorado voting systems and the 2020 election in Colorado.

In the filing to the case, Hanks asserts the following:

WHEREFORE, on their First Claim for Relief, Plaintiffs pray that this Honorable Court enter judgment declaring that Defendant violated C.R.S. § 1-5-608.5 by failing to have Colorado voting systems tested by a federally accredited laboratory before the 2020 election. Plaintiffs pray that the Court enter judgment that an independent forensic audit is necessary to determine whether the voting systems meet legal standards, and whether the systems accurately recorded the votes of the people of Colorado in the 2020 election. Plaintiffs pray that the Court order the Defendant to pay the costs of such audit. Because of the importance of this case to the voters of Colorado, Plaintiffs pray for advancement on the docket and accelerated discovery pursuant to C.R.C.P. 57 (m). Plaintiffs pray for an award of costs, expert witness fees, reasonable attorney fees, and all other appropriate relief.​

In this portion of the case, Hanks argues that the voting machines in Colorado weren’t properly certified by certified auditors per state law. The same situation occurred in Arizona. The TGP reported that the auditors in Arizona hadn’t been properly certified prior to the 2020 Election, therefore, nullifying any certifications they made before the 2020 Election.

The second point that Hanks makes is that the Secretary of State destroyed election records. Hanks states:

Forensic examination found that election records, including data described in the Federal Election Commission’s 2002 Voting System Standards (VSS) mandated by Colorado law as certification requirements for Colorado voting systems, have been destroyed on Mesa County’s voting system, by the system vendor and the Colorado Secretary of State’s office. Because similar system modifications were reportedly performed upon county election servers across the state, it is possible, if not likely, that such data destruction in violation of state and federal law has occurred in numerous other counties.”​

The third point from Hanks is that a recent law that Griswold put into place, despite unanimous pushback prevents independent election audits. [If this is allowed to stay there will never be independent, adequate, and honest election audits in Colorado]. An example of recent issues in the state where the machines should be audited is given in the case.

In the most recent election, November 2, 2021, the El Paso County clerk’s office transmitted election data to Defendant’s website using an internet connection. As batches of votes were transmitted, the total votes counted increased on Defendant’s website by approximately 20 per cent. This happened twice. The El Paso County Clerk telephoned Defendant’s office. Defendant’s office was unaware that its website was showing inflated vote totals from El Paso County. Defendant’s office and the El Paso County Clerk agreed to manually decrease the vote totalsthat had been transmitted by the voting system.​

Governor Kemp’s staff received 40,000 election fraud affidavits for the 2020 election in Georgia. But how can this be? It was the most secure election ever.
A local group called Georgia Patriots (led by Holly Kelser) showed up to deliver about 40,000 sworn affidavits regarding 2020 election fraud to the office of Governor Brian Kemp.
Former Newsmax reporter Emerald Robinson and the Pillow Guy Mike Lindell accompanied them as the staff showed their displeasure.

To be fair, Kemp tightened up the election laws, after the fact, and took a hit for that. On the other hand, Secretary of State Raffensperger is a villain in the election process which was flawed, with laws at the last minute and Zuckerboxes everywhere. He made a deal with Stacey Abrams of all people which heavily favored Joe Biden and other Democrat candidates.
This group seems to focus on the voting machines but I don’t know what evidence they have or don’t have.

Wisconsin Officials Threatened With Jail For Not Complying With Subpoenas In Election Investigation​

Assembly Republicans in Wisconsin are looking to put election officials behind bars as part of their review of the 2020 election.

On Friday they looked to jail the state Elections Commission chairwoman, Ann Jacobs, Racine Mayor Cory Mason and other officials, The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.

The court filing marked the latest shift in approach for Michael Gableman, a former state Supreme Court justice who is leading the review for the Republicans. Three days ago, he abandoned far-reaching subpoenas he issued in January to the immigrant rights group Voces de la Frontera Action.

A month ago an attorney working with Gableman told a judge he was hoping to avoid trying to jail the mayors of Madison and Green Bay.

But on Friday Gableman intensified his efforts, telling Waukesha County Circuit Judge Ralph Ramirez he should incarcerate those mayors and others if they don’t sit for interviews with him behind closed doors.

Recounts and court rulings have verified that President Joe Biden won the state by 21,000 votes, but the Republicans in the assembly still have questions about the election.

Those targeted by the most recent filing include Jacobs, Mason, Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway, Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich, Madison and Green Bay city clerks, two Milwaukee workers and information technology employees who work for the state Department of Administration and the Elections Commission.

“After saying he wanted to arrest me, then saying he didn’t, Gableman once again is asking the courts to arrest me and eight other public officials,” the Madison mayor said. “It’s an awfully bold move for someone we don’t even know is authorized to conduct an investigation.”

In January, Gableman, who is leading the investigation into the state’s 2020 elections, accused two mayors of a “cover-up” and stonewalling the investigation.

While testifying before the Wisconsin Committee on Campaign and Elections, Gableman threatened to subpoena former Facebook employee Michael Spitzer Rubenstein to testify.

Gableman also warned that he may jail two Wisconsin Democratic Mayors if they continue to avoid his interview.

An attorney for Assembly Republicans is seeking to jail the mayors of Madison and Green Bay if they don’t sit for depositions soon — even though the two say he never gave them a final date for when they were supposed to meet with him.​

Gableman this week sought court orders requiring Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich to answer his questions or be jailed if they decline to do so. In his filings, he contended the pair had defied his request that they meet with him in November. The two have disputed they were required to meet with him then.​

Jeffrey Mandell, a lawyer for Green Bay, sent a letter to Waukesha County Circuit Judge Ralph Ramirez saying Gableman’s legal work was so shoddy that he would seek legal sanctions against Gableman.​

​

Mandell argued Gableman had filed the wrong kind of lawsuit in the wrong court. The type of case Gableman brought should only be used when private individuals have disputes over money, Mandell contended.​

“[Green Bay Mayor] Eric Genrich and [Madison Mayor] Satya Rhodes-Conway have chosen to ignore the subpoenas issued by the Wisconsin Assembly because they have no intention of answering uncomfortable questions about what they did with the millions of dollars in Zuckerberg money that they took,” Gableman said.

“Reasonable minds might wonder whether the millions of dollars each of these mayors received from the Zuckerbergs may have induced them to do something other than treating all candidates fairly and impartially. And whether those mayors used the Zuckerberg money to get out the vote for Joe Biden,” Gableman said.

“They are trying to run and hide from accountability to the citizens they are supposed to serve,” Gableman told lawmakers. “Why go through all of this legal evasion, maneuvering, and expense unless they do not want the public to know what they have done?”

On August 16, 2021, when the EAC released its latest survey data from the states, the total number of inactive registrations reported by North Carolina dropped from about 1.2 million in 2019, to about 765,000 in 2021 - a 36% drop.​

Judicial Watch is settling the lawsuit it filed against State of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County and Guilford County in April of 2020.

The settlement is reportedly based on new data showing the state has finally cleaned up its voter rolls.

In 2019, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) found that voter registration rates in a significant proportion of North Carolina's 100 counties were close to, at, or above 100% of their age-eligible citizenry.

These statistics are considered by the courts to be an indication that a jurisdiction may not be taking the proper steps required by law to remove ineligible registrants.

Additionally, Judicial Watch’s analysis reportedly also showed that at the time of the EAC report, the entire State of North Carolina had a registration rate close to 100% of its age-eligible citizenry.

Judicial Watch had warned the state of North Carolina and the two counties that lawsuits would be filed if timely action was not taken to clean up the voter rolls.

Republicans Win Another Special Election​

Republicans have picked up a special election victory in Jacksonville, Florida.

Republican Nick Howland won the city council race on Tuesday where there are more registered Democrats than Republicans in the county.

“Republican Nick Howland on Tuesday night clinched the necessary number of votes to take the City Council At-Large Group 3 seat. At about 7:45 p.m., with 196 of 199 precincts reporting, Howland maintained a strong lead over his opponent, Democrat Tracye Polson. Howland’s lead was greater than the remaining number of votes left to tabulate according to data from the Duval County Supervisor of Elections’ website,” News4Jax reported.


“At just before 10:30 p.m., all precincts were reporting and all mail-in and early votes had been counted. Howland won with 51.69% of the vote to Polson’s 48.31%. The seat was left vacant when Tommy Hazouri, who was a former council president and mayor, died in September,” the outlet added.

“It’s an exciting night. We anticipated we’d do well, but we did better than we expected,” Howland said. “It means our message resonated, which is a strong support for public safety. creating jobs and investing in every neighborhood in Jacksonville.”

When asked what was the first thing he hopes to accomplish in office, Howland responded: “Immediately we’re going to be faced with looking at the budget. I want to help the sheriff figure out how he’s going to keep our streets and neighborhoods safe.”
