At the flea market this morning there were at least 10 guys selling .22s. There tables were full, all brands, $6 a box of 50 was the going price. Outrageous!

Everyone should remember that 'Coke' changed their product and called it 'NEW COKE'...

Try and find NEW COKE NOW!!!! WAHAHAHAHA!!

These boobs sometime try something that is new and they latch on to the idea. The only problem is, no matter how much they try and sell it, it is such a huge disappointing failure, that 'EPIC FAIL' doesn't even BEGIN to cover it.

Same with when S&W was sold to the English company that made so many bad decisions, they ended up selling it back to a US company after losing more than sixty percent of it's value. And they were lucky they didn't lose EVERYTHING, which would have been well over 120 million back them.

Sometimes at Midway, they'll put more back up, after it runs out. I've seen them do it more than once. Yeah, that's a screamin' deal. didn't expect it to last long!

Been to 2 dicks sporting goods in the last two weeks, both out of .22 still, it just makes no sense this shortage is lasting over 2 years.

While down at my dad's place in north GA a couple weeks ago, I managed to pick up a ~350 round box of .22LR ammo at the local Walmart for about 6 cents/round. This was the FIRST .22LR I'd managed to buy in a store in several years.

I've gotten 2 additional email notifications on this bucket of .22's since I posted this morning. I didn't notice them for half an hour or so. It was gone again by the time I checked.

Snagged up 2-325 round boxes at Dicks for $20 each. First 22lr I have seen in almost 2 yrs.
Was in the area so I stopped by Dicks again this afternoon, they had .22 but would only let me buy 5 - 50 round boxes at 2.79 each, I took the 5 but its cheaper on midway even with shipping when they have it.

All my local Walmarts show every caliber out of stock. Good thing I don't go to Walmart for anything

I was in our local store yesterday and they have removed ALL the .22 tags from the shelves, minus the Winchester 100 round plastic boxes of 40 gr. that they were asking almost $9.00 for. $.10 per shot (including tax) for Winchester, no thanks.

They have had and still have lots (had to be at least 40 boxes) of the ZQ I in 7.62x51 at $9.9?. They have kept this slot full the last few times I have been in. Nothing for the $10.00, 30 round boxes of 5.56x45 ZQ I though.

You guys ever use these? What the 4H was nice enough to give me for letting them use far more of a different brand. I'll take what I get from them though.

I dont think they are any different than std cci minimags....just bulk packed and celeb branded hollow point version......36g hollow point 1200+fps is what i hunt with no matter the brand

i am not brand particular so i have tried and used them all......CCI has always been a top tier performer..

one brand/type of ammo i will not use is remington golden bullets i have had issues in the past with them cycling semi-autos and overall ammo consistency

When I have a choice, I always go with CCI .22 LR. Failing that, then either Federal, or Winchester. I'm with you about Remington, wont buy it in .22 LR!

I started hunting with the aguila supermaximum hypervelocity stuff before the shortage .....and storing back the name brands a few years ago.....i have grown quite fond of the Aguila for hunting packs the punch of a 22mag and so far i havent had any duds.....accuracy is not as good though....but good enough to hunt with......liked the CCI stingers but price was a bit high

22lr .....has become readily available around us at .06-.08 a round...........22mag is still unavailible even at .30+ a round when some surfaces

cant go wrong with stockpiling 22lr

walmarts seem to have 22lr most of the time now....they do still enforce a 1 box limit per person per day here though

These were $38.16US for 500, so 7.6 cents a round.

Well this was fun. The Eleys that wouldn't shoot in my gun were subsonic. I got lucky as the two cases I bought were not and those shoot like a hot damn. Gotta get the chrony out and do some testing.
