Very cool thanks.
I worked with a guy 25 years ago that had a buddy who was raising money to go " out there " and do some searching as they said they had some intel that others didn't have.
I did not pony up any $ but I have sure been interested in it ever since.
Regards GH

Cadaver dogs find 'the lonely spot under a tree on deserted island where Amelia Earhart died': New theory claims aviator was a castaway and NOT captured by Japanese
  • Researchers believe they may have found the spot where Amelia Earhart died
  • Dogs trained to detect the scent of remains pinpointed to a certain area June 30
  • This was the same spot a British official believed he found her bones in 1940
  • Thirteen bones were sent to Fiji to be measured and had Earhart's measurements
  • These experts believe the 39-year-old crashed on the isolated Nikumaroro island
  • Earhart's body has never been officially found after she disappeared July 2, 1937
  • The iconic aviator was flying across the world with navigator Fred Noonan
  • Discovery of the remains comes after a photograph was recently unearthed
  • Some experts claim it is of Earhart and Noonan on Marshall Island after the crash
  • They claim it is evidence of another theory that the Japanese captured Earhart

I thought the show on history channel was pretty good. To me it seems to have more weight behind it than any of the other theories. Hard to say..
