We showed off the amazingly cheap but well made knives offered by gearbest.com in an earlier, non sponsored video - it must have worked well for that site as they now offered us sponsorship.

They sent is eight folding knives we picked, and then we went ahead and build what probably is the world's first folding knife jousting machine...

A machine that can clash blade against blade so hard even the best folders in the world will suffer. Watch how the products (all of them under 16 € end user price) fare against this most brutal machine.

The finale will be on the 10th of Dec., 2017. Stay tuned, and leave us your best bet in the comments!

How to disassemble and maintain the Spyderco Manix 2 Pocketknife
Nick Shabazz

The Manix 2 is a great knife, with a not-so-great disassembly process. But we get through it. Together.

Also, note that Spyderco has now changed their warranty policy so that disassembly is A-OK and Red-Loctite is banished. For more information: https://youtu.be/Ed0kzmsz0Qs

The Spyderco Manix 2 Pocketknife: The Full Nick Shabazz Review
Nick Shabazz

Published on Dec 19, 2017
The Spyderco Manix 2 is a great knife, with great ergos, a great blade, and on the whole, it's one of the best cutting tools out there. It's a bit big, and it's perhaps not the best choice for EDC if you don't plan to do a lot of cutting, but it's a serious cutting tool, and a solid gem.

The Rike Knife 1508S Pocketknife: The Full Nick Shabazz Review
Nick Shabazz

Published on Dec 24, 2017
The Rike 1508S is a great knife, with a nice action in a compact, integral frame. It's a bit pricy, though, and way too thick behind the edge, but if they fixed those issues, this could easily be a gem.

The Arcform Slimfoot Pocketknife: The Full Nick Shabazz Review
Nick Shabazz

Published on Dec 30, 2017
Today, we're going to take a look at the Arcform Slimfoot, which is very nicely manufactured and absolutely beautiful. Sadly, it's also pricy, host to a huge number of Knife-Gripe featured issues, and entertainingly, very thick. So, although it's a beautiful knife, and a great choice for Instagram, as a functional piece, for me, it's 10 pounds of "nope" in a five pound bag.

How to disassemble and maintain the Spyderco Vallotton Pocketknife
Nick Shabazz

Published on Jan 4, 2018
The Spyderco Valloton is a knife with a lot of screws, but ultimately, it's not too tricky to take down. Here, we do a bit of knife-rescue 911 to prevent the spread of rust, but mostly, it's smooth sailing.

Also, note that Spyderco has now changed their warranty policy so that disassembly is A-OK and Red-Loctite is banished. For more information: https://youtu.be/Ed0kzmsz0Qs

The Boker Nano is a weird little knife. Although it's solid, it's also thick, a bit tacticool, and not terribly good for cutting anything. So, the Nano is a Nono.

The ADV Pocket Butcher Knife: The Full Nick Shabazz Review
Nick Shabazz

Published on Jan 15, 2018
The ADV Pocket Butcher is a very interesting fusion of traditional design with modern knifemaking. It's nicely made, absolutely unique, and a pretty decent cutting tool. But it's also a bit big, a bit pointy and sharp, and kind of absurd in the pocket.

At the end of the day, it's not the most practical blade ever, but it's unquestionably a neat idea, and it bodes well for blades to come.

The Benchmade 320 Precinct Pocketknife: The Full Nick Shabazz Review
Nick Shabazz

Published on Jan 19, 2018
The Benchmade Precinct is a little EDC flipper from Benchmade. Although it's made from nice materials, and has a really excellent flipping action, the poor build quality and insane price make this one Precinct you're going to want to avoid.

Figured this was as good a place as any to see if there's any interest.

I have a Limited Edition SOG Carbon Fiber Tomcat III San Mai (S95CF).
Mine is number 25 of only 300 made.
I'm looking to thin the herd and this is one I'd be willing to let go.
Please let me know if you have any interest.

Per the SOG website - When introduced in 1998 the Tomcat design won Overall knife of the year.

Blade length: 3.75"
Overall length: 8.65"
Weight: 6.5oz
Edge: Straight
Steel: VG-10 San Mai
Handle: Carbon Fiber
Finish: Satin
Sheath: Nylon

Mint, in the original box, with sheath, certificate of authenticity noting #25 of 300 produced and SOG product info paraphernalia.

These were listed at $370 on the SOG website when new. I did NOT pay that price and don't expect you to either.

Please feel free to make an offer here or PM if you want to.
Thanks
JW
