They just opened an office 2 miles from me and I accidently ran into the manager at our local watering hole this evening.
http://www.americansilverandgold.com/

We struck up a conversation when he told us a "blonde joke" and he seemed very down to earth. I actually asked him what he did for a living and he said he was into buying and selling gold and silver and such. Because we are of a similar political ilk, he hung around a little longer while we discussed our various ideas regarding TEOTWAWKI.

Just wondering how this company fares on the "trustworthy" scale.

KWIM?

No, I have never heard of them. They are members of the right groups for their business though. edit to add: see post below.

....and from their president: "If gold is your savings then silver is your checking."

Thanks...the guy I met seemed really interested that we stockpile food, guns and ammo but really freaked at how much I have in the markets. He seemed legit.

He called PMs and insurance policy and said, "if nothing happens in your lifetime, your kids and grandkids will not sell grandma's coin collection prematurely".

Hope Agavegirl sees the above post.

edit: I just went to PCGS's site and looked at the authorized
dealer's list. I don't see them there.

http://www.pcgs.com/dealers/

I looked under both names. So, I don't know.

Loose lips sink ships. Letting some random guys at the bar know what you stockpile and have in the market isn't smart. I'd be very worried they might follow me home or start asking about me at the bar. Stay safe.

He has no idea where. We have a permanent bugout location he knows nothing about and doesn't know our names. He was picking up take out and our conversation was 2 minutes long. I just asked him about the new store and told him I preferred barter items easily understood by locals. When he left, I looked up the store online.

SongSungAU thanks for the heads up. I won't buy anything I don't walk away with in my hot little hands. It is a physical location that is a branch of this business. If they have no inventory, they have no sale.
