Oh, so you were a thief. Got it. Shoulda just said so.

darn new, kinda harsh there

if a guy is any good at all, at least 40% of that is going to just taxes, takes him down to 25-30 bucks
then you have tools, truck, equip, etc to cover (easily $5 an hour)
then you have to allow for office expense of some type (easily a few bucks an hour)
then insurances, and allowances (can easily run a couple of bucks an hour)
etc etc

so effectively, at that rate he is actually dragging home 15-20 an hour

that isn't far fetched at all IMO, and he darn sure isn't making bank

you can work at mickie d's for 15 without all the drama and days without wages due to weather, waiting on a project, etc.

We are all good at what we do and hiring an accountant can free up productive or relaxing time.
then you gotta pay more fucking money so its down to about 10 bucks an hour. they (tptb) dont want you to be independent. they want you to be part of the borg!

when he punched out he was done for the day, l couldn't go home at 3:15 in the afternoon worry free, and he doesn't have all the pain I got
that is the part about self employment that most cannot understand,

it takes a special person, and a very independent person to do it,

sink or swim, it is all on you

there is no sick leave, maternity leave, paid days off, etc
