This should be fought by commenting to ATF, writing your congressman, etc., but don't buy into the craze IMO. Don't pay $500+ for this stuff. You can get comparable AR ammo for around $300 shipped now if you look around.

Shit, I think id still rather have bricks of 22lr over this stuff. Its bs poltics, but this specific ammo isn't anything special over XM193 or even PMC for the average shooter. 62 grain is better for 1:7 twist barrels, but unless you're a competition shooter you wont see it.

Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

People need to be held responsible for their actions.

It's not some far-away bureaucratic specter that applies this nonsense to your life. It's an actual man walking around in your town.

Find that man. Confront him. Tell him to G.T.F.O of your town.

You don't know who is the BATF Agent in your town do you?

You don't know who is the Federal Prosecutor who drives to your local Federal Courthouse and eats lunch at which diner do you?

I'm sick of people bitching about all this Federal nonsense and then refusing to confront the actual, on-the-ground people doing it. Those people need to be held responsible. Shun them. Ostracize them. Throw them out of your business. Don't sell them a car. Don't allow them in your church. Don't cook them food. Don't mow their lawn. Make them publicly known in your town.
.................I'd love to see this happen :beerglass:

I liked his analogy about "setting demolition charges in an abandoned building". That's exactly what FedGov is doing. The small administrative rulings they install now won't be felt by the majority of Americans until it's too late.

Just like the Patriot Act, NDAA, IRS, etc., legislators will pretend than can't anything to get rid of it because it's a "done deal" from years past.
Frog in the Pot Conditioning is one of the tactics the Think Tanks and bureaucrats use nowadays to get the level of controlling government they eventually want.

Mis-Titling is another. See Charlie Prime above. Patriot Act is actually Anti-Patriot and Anti-American, National Defense Authorization Act has nothing to do with National Defense.

The M855 controversy is simply a vindictive and retributive end run by Eric Holder to attack the 2nd Amendment, much like throwing a monkey wrench into a gearbox.

Not sure if this has been posted yet:

http://dailycaller.com/2015/03/20/atf-director-resigns-amid-controversy-over-backdoor-ammo-ban/

"The director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives resigned suddenly on Friday while the agency is still reeling from its failed “backdoor ammo ban” of the popular 5.56 M855 bullet.

It is unclear if B. Todd Jones’ departure is at all related to that proposed ban. A statement released by the agency only said that he will resign effective March 31 to pursue opportunities in the private sector. ABC News reported that Jones will take a job in New York City, possibly with a professional sports league."

The rat is leaving the ship. Maybe he was forced out. Or he and Holder are secretly engaged and plan to marry.
