I always have this fantasy that when I see a panhandler on the side of the road at a red light my car gravitates toward said panhandler and a tragic accident occurs

I used to engage panhandlers and inform them regarding the availability of social services, but then I discovered that they already max out their social services, and the handouts are strictly a bonus.

And many of them are not at all homeless, or crippled.

Help the helpless, yes. Someone at the red light, look down at their shoes. Are they wearing $100 Nikes?
Their smarter than you think.

You fantasize about hitting people with your car? I just hope you have good insurance if you ever do.
...and a good criminal defense lawyer, too.

Panhandling can be extremely lucrative. A good street corner and a good sign go a long way. Starting a non-profit is very similar but simply on a larger scale and with a better sign or slogan, there are executives at non-profits who make millions.

That's good. We all have the Right to our own thoughts and fantasies.
....and I was just inquiring because from time to time I have been in the unfortunate position of having to deal with drivers who try taking things beyond just fantasy.

Edited to add: let's just say it can get very frustrating dealing with people who seem to have no concept of others having Rights equal to their own. Put some people behind the wheel and whole different personality can come out of 'em. An unpleasant personality that tends to revolve around the idea of, "me first, f' everyone else on the road".

I wouldn't worry too much about me. I'm quite a sane and respectful driver (who likes to fantasize) and haven't hit anyone yet

I once had a woman outside of a health clinic in Oviedo see me pull into the lot in my lexus coupe and ask me to pay for her son's (maybe 12?) insulin.

I promptly parked the car and spent around 10 minutes on my ipad with her and enrolled him into children's medicaid. (I'm a licensed insurance agent, most of you know that.)

Who was (already) paying the doctor who wrote the prescription for the insulin?
Why did she not ask his office for help?
