Good news indeed.
Sounds like company is using a third party to hire the illegals so as to get around hiring requirements.
McDonalds should switch to Martin's Potatoe Rolls. 10 times better.

Aryzta wasn’t able to verify that the workers had the necessary documents to work because they were brought in by a staffing agency,

just for reference,

for the past couple of years, the wall street whores have been speaking to how great a story this is,
the intro of all day breakfast, etc, etc. How great the ceo is and the job he has been doing.

reality is, once again, all lies and misdirection as evidenced above.

using illegal aliens and a foreign company on our soil to accomplish decreasing costs to pump the stock price

funny how that works guys:

first is daily,

second is weekly,

Trump Tower was built with 'undocumented' Polish workers (i.e. tax evasion, skirting employment laws, probably tax evasion, etc.

But Don the Con gonna Make America Great Again! Build the Wall!

A guest of an inn that I used to work for asked me to do the drywall at his downtown Manhattan condo because the locals were too expensive. I asked him if he was trying to have me kilt.

The union sued for lost dues. Trump settled.

Trump made no argument they were NOT illegal. He simply argued he didn't know they were illegal. Right.

Get sick of me, ban me, OK.

DEAL SEALED IN TRUMP TOWER SUIT
BY TOM ROBBINS
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Monday, March 8, 1999, 12:00 AM

TWENTY YEARS after a squad of nonunion Polish demolition workers cleared the way for Trump Tower by tearing down the old Bonwit Teller building on Fifth Ave., Donald Trump has quietly settled a lawsuit brought on their behalf. The lawsuit against Trump was filed in 1983 by a crusty ex-boxer and dissident member of the housewreckers union named Harry Diduck. It was Diduck's claim that Trump had cheated Laborers Local 95 out of at least $300,000 in contributions to its benefit funds by secretly employing the nonunion workers. The workers, many of them undocumented immigrants, sweated through round-the-clock shifts and some even slept on the floors of the building they were demolishing. They were promised $4 to $5 an hour, but many were stiffed for even those low wages. Trump dismissed the charges, saying any violations were the fault of an inept demolition contractor whom he later fired. But Diduck, the unlikeliest foe for the glamorous real estate tycoon, stuck to his guns and so did his lawyers, the late Burt Hall, a prominent labor lawyer and his partner, Wendy Sloan. After a trial in 1991, federal Judge Charles Stewart ruled that the Trump Organization and its partner, Equitable Life Assurance Society, conspired with a former union leader to withhold $325,000 in benefit payments plus interest adding up to about $4 million. An appeals court ordered the case retried and that is where it was headed until last month's settlement agreement, which was placed under seal. Neither side would give specifics. "It has been resolved on terms agreeable to both sides," said Sloan who was joined by lawyer Lewis Steel. Diduck died in 1992. "He never stood to make a nickel," Sloan said. "The money was to go to the [union] funds.

" "Thanks to courageous rank-and-file dissidents like Harry, justice is finally catching up to Trump Tower," said James McNamara of the Association for Union Democracy. Do nurses need a union? Some 400 women and men at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the northeast Bronx will make that decision on March 18 when they vote whether to join Local 1199 of the National Health and Human Services Union. If they vote yes, they'll join 87% of the city's nurses who already have opted to join unions, according to the pro-union Labor Research Association. The campaign at Our Lady of Mercy, run by the Catholic Archdiocese of New York, often has been bitter one. "The hospital is energetically campaigning against the union," said Local 1199 organizer Ben Weinthal. "We're not anti-union," said hospital spokesman Mary deBarros. "The most important thing is that nurses have all the information available to them when they vote.

" In one case, the union filed an unfair labor-practice charge against the hospital after a supervisor allegedly snatched union literature out of a nurse's hands while he was on break. The central issue, say pro-union nurses, is health care, not wages. Nurses accuse the hospital of cutting back on staff, thus shortchanging patients. "I certainly didn't become a nurse for the money or the glamor. It's a good living, an honest living that lets me take care of five children," said Margaret Horan, 41, a 20-year veteran at Our Lady of Mercy. "But they have cut back [staff] to the point where the safety of the patients is not being taken care of. We feel if we had a union, we would be heard," Horan said. Others say a union isn't the answer. "I have done my own representation for 33 years and have been received well, voiced my opinion and never felt shut out," said Mary Pat McGrath, 54, a nurse at Our Lady of Mercy since 1966. "If it's not broken, don't fix it, that's what I think.

Trump Towers:
Big farking deal, This undoc worker stuff happens ALL THE TIME. Every day.
EVEN with the NEW laws about work docs etc.etc etc.
It makes the world go around. Fleas with dog stuff.
I personally have been in the shadow of the Vehicle Assembly Building on a huge project when the FEDS
raided the job and shut the entire drywall contractor down....and the whole job.
It was like a light got turned on in a roach infested donut shop.
Guys running everywhere.
Hows it a national ( international ) contractor ( at Kennedy Space Center ) got near 100 undocs on the Space Center ?

So, at the Tower,
Demo guy ( insert, drywall guy, mechanical guy, electrical guy, roofer guy on a dif project)
got caught not paying benefits ( complaint probably by a guy who
was in the local who lost the bid ...but coulda happened in an audit somewheres )
and the whole thing went through the process. It HAS to go through this process.

Ya think the demo guy is gonna show up and say
" hey...heres 300 thousand...is that good ? ok, fine...then we are peachy ? "
and it all goes away ??? No.
Its the process.
There are so many contractors, business people ( PUERTO RICO !! )
that have and are doing this stuff you cannot count them all.
Find them, weed them out.
They get fired, the get a lawsuit, and they go to the next project.
Its how it works.
Its JUST like any other cheating scheme only different.
So many folks think they have a way " around " to get to be the low bidder.
Thats the beauty of our low bidder system.

If anyone thinks TRUMP was the instigator...uhhh......
No...he probably helped clean it up.
And some project manager , probably on the take, somewhere like 10 levels ( or more ) down from Trump probably got fired
along with the contractor.

So many fence sitters and motorcycle cops ( NON participants- I.E obstructionists )
making a big deal out of nothing , ( i.E. how a lot of things work in real life for centuries )
trying to make a name for themselves or justify their position in life, write a ticket, or
pick, pick, pick, pick, pick, pick at the people trying to DO something with their life.
Ya think ANYONE who could actually be the POTUS has lived a Unicorn life and not been
invloved in anything whatsoever that someone somewhere could start saying " look, look, look !!!??? "

The Media and the whole lot of the inner loop folks up there are..........pathetic.

More to say, but I have a lot to work on today.
Regards to all,
Haystack

please provide proof of what you say, as we here know it isn't true
Yeah it is, but its being probed and pecked on year by year.
Up there a coupla years ago, in Manhattan, and there was a 50 or more story tower going up. Actually a lot of them. Impressive.
There was a 100 lft tall---like the front yard ones you can buy at Home Depot, only huge--
inflatable RAT tied up in front of the tower.
The larger non union ( non union in many areas, not all ) contractors, were probing and using
non unions on the whole job.
They had to provide armed escort to the guys to get there. ( duh )
Closed loop it is, ex work associate here, in the newspaper printing business until 2000 or so,
lost a LOT up there even inside the union environment
Lost as in a cool million outta his own pocket. Out of state, out of town, not " connected ".
One of the last bastions it is...and it is getting chipped on daily.
Tough place to do business. We have always just said " no ".

another point to that Hystck, was the story about him was from 40 + years ago while he was a democrat............
Same as Roy Moore. Funny to hear dems rail against him and hold him up as evidence of how vile red team is despite the fact that he batted for blue team back then.
