ORIGINAL POST:

Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) on Wednesday tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus, making him the first member of Congress to definitively have the virus.

According to a press release from Diaz-Balart's office, the congressman decided to self-quarantine in Washington, D.C. after the House's vote on the Wuhan Coronavirus Relief Bill on Friday. He decided not to return to South Florida because his wife, Tia, has pre-existing conditions that put him at a higher risk for contracting the virus.

Diaz-Balart began developing symptoms Saturday night, including a fever and headache and not long ago he was notified that he was indeed positive for the virus.

While he has been quarantined, the congressman has been working from home.

"I want everyone to know that I am feeling much better," he said in a statement. "However, it is important that everyone take this extremely seriously and follow CDC guidelines in order to avoid getting sick and mitigate the spread of the virus. We must continue to work together to emerge stronger as a country during these trying times."

Coronavirus: Italian army called in as crematorium struggles to cope with deaths

At least 93 people have died after testing positive for coronavirus in the north Italian city.

The Italian city of Bergamo, one of the worst-hit by the coronavirus outbreak, is having to transport its dead out of the city as its crematorium is struggling to cope.

Army vehicles have been brought in to move dozens of coffins from Bergamo to other regions, according to Ansa news agency.

The wealthy city, northeast of Milan in Italy's Lombardy region, has recorded at least 93 coronavirus-related deaths as cases continue to grow relentlessly each day.

The mayor of Bergamo, Giorgio Gori, said the true number of related deaths could be higher as many people with COVID-19 symptoms had died before being tested.

"The crematorium of Bergamo, working at full capacity, 24 hours a day, can cremate 25 dead", said a spokesperson for the local authority.

"It is clear that it could not stand up to the numbers of the past few days."

Coffins are now being taken to crematoriums in Modena, Acqui Terme, Domodossola, Parma, Piacenza and several other cities.

Coronavirus can live in your body for up to 37 days, according to new study

A new study in The Lancet medical journal published Wednesday found that the novel coronavirus lived in the respiratory tracts of some patients for more than five weeks. Some of the patients received antiviral medications but the drugs did not appear to shorten the virus's lifespan.

The 19 doctors who authored the study analyzed the medical records of 191 patients in China (135 from Jinyintan Hospital and 56 from Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital), including the demographic, clinical, treatment and laboratory data of 137 coronavirus patients who were discharged and 54 patients who died in the hospital.

They found that the virus was present in the bodies of patients with severe disease status for an average of 19 days, and inside the bodies of patients with critical disease status for an average of 24 days. Overall, the virus was detected for an average of 20 days in patients who were eventually discharged from the hospital. In the respiratory tracts of patients who died, coronavirus was detectable until death.

PERSON UNDER CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN IN SPAIN TRIES TO LEAVE HOUSE DRESSED AS T. REX
BY JASON MURDOCK ON 3/17/20 AT 7:13 AM EDT

Spanish police have urged citizens to remain indoors during the COVID-19 state of emergency after encountering one citizen on the street dressed as a dinosaur.

Video of the incident was posted to Twitter yesterday by Murcia police department, showing an unidentified citizen being stopped by a unit of officers who were attempting to enforce the government's plan to limit the spread of the disease—caused by a novel coronavirus that is now spreading globally.

On Friday, Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez imposed a 15-day state of alarm that restricted free movement apart from traveling to work, food, health medication or for caregiving.

One small exception was that pets can be taken out on short walks, but police noted on social media that dinosaurs are not considered to be included in this category.

"During state of alarm, walking of pets is allowed if accompanied by one person, always short walks so they can relieve themselves. Having a Tyrannosaurus rex is not covered. #stayathome," Murcia Police wrote on Twitter alongside the footage, which has since attracted tens of thousands of shares and likes on the platform.

The clip—which was edited to include the theme tune to the film franchise Jurassic Park—proved to be one small lighthearted moment during a challenging time for the country's authorities.

Italy Coronavirus: New explosive information

by Jon Rappoport
March 19, 2020

A very brief update. Read this carefully. Many people who were diagnosed as “coronavirus cases” in Italy, and then died, were almost certainly put on antiviral drugs. As you’ll see, below, a significant percentage of these people had prior heart conditions or high blood pressure. But at least one of the antiviral drugs, called ribavirin, carries this VERY RELEVANT warning, from cardiosmart.org: “Ribavirin may decrease the number of red blood cells in your body. This is called anemia and it can be life-threatening in people who have heart disease or circulation problems.” High blood pressure is a circulatory problem. Understand? Get it? LIFE-THREATENING. So how many coronavirus patients have been killed by the administering of ribavirin?

And with THAT, let’s jump in…because there’s more. Much more.

For those people who have any belief in the coronavirus…

Here’s the basic situation: the Italian health agencies are reporting escalating COV deaths—big fear-story out front…

But in the background, other Italian government researchers are combing through patient records, to take a much closer look…to see whether people are dying from the virus or other more obvious causes.

Are people dying coincidentally WITH the virus, or BECAUSE OF the virus? Is the virus a mere harmless passenger in the body, or is it the driving force?

The Italian results are astonishing, to understate it by a mile.

Bloomberg News has the story: 3/18, “99 percent of those whose died from virus had other illness, Italy says”:

“More than 99% [!] of Italy’s coronavirus fatalities were people who suffered from previous medical conditions, according to a study by the country’s national health authority.”

“The Rome-based institute has examined medical records of about 18% of the country’s coronavirus fatalities [so far, because it’s slow work], finding that just three victims [!!], or 0.8% of the total, had no previous pathology [disease]. Almost half of the victims suffered from at least three prior illnesses and about a fourth had either one or two previous conditions.”

“More than 75% had high blood pressure, about 35% had diabetes and a third suffered from heart disease.”

“The average age of those who’ve died from the virus in Italy is 79.5 [!!!]. As of March 17, 17 people under 50 had died from the disease. All of Italy’s victims under 40 have been males with serious existing medical conditions.”

BANG.

Average age of those who’ve died: 79.5. Are you kidding? Lots of prior medical conditions, weakened immune systems, and what this emerging study isn’t saying: all these people had obviously been treated for those prior conditions with toxic medical drugs. Furthermore, once they’d been diagnosed with coronavirus, chances are many of them were put on highly toxic antiviral drugs. Thus delivering the final blow.

Imagining the coronavirus was the CAUSE of death would be a ridiculous fantasy. But these people are counted as “coronavirus deaths” by the other Italian reporting agencies, who are jacking up the numbers.

Does this remind you of any other reports I’ve been detailing? The elderly people with obvious prior diseases who died in Australia; and the elderly people who were diagnosed as coronavirus cases in the state of Washington—all living in a long-term-care nursing home?

Getting the picture? This death-numbers con—aside from covering up the real causes of death, including MEDICAL—is the forward spear being used to justify locking down and wrecking economies all over the world right now, and that means attacking the people in any way connected to those economies who have to work to make a living.

There are statistical vampires at work, using the elderly and sick and dying to feed numbers to health agencies around the planet. Those agencies tap their press contacts, and horror reports emerge, and the unsuspecting public, in economic lockdowns, sit in front of the tube and watch these reports, and inhale the cooked-up fear.

Turn your mind to the highest setting, because nothing is riding on this whole deal except the immediate future of humanity.

And again, cardiosmart.org: “Ribavirin may decrease the number of red blood cells in your body. This is called anemia and it can be life-threatening in people who have heart disease or circulation problems.”

WORLD’S FASTEST SUPERCOMPUTER FINDS 77 POTENTIAL COVID-19 TREATMENTS
IT'S NOT A CURE, BUT IT'S A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
BY VICTOR TANGERMANN / 12 HOURS AGO

Scientists recently tasked the world’s fastest supercomputer with running thousands of simulations to find drug compounds that could fight the coronavirus.

Now, CNN reports, the IBM supercomputer — called “Summit” and housed at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee — has identified 77 treatments that may be able to stop COVID-19 dead in its tracks.

The research, detailed a paper uploaded to the preprint server ChemRxiv, could even help researchers develop a vaccine for the deadly virus — but so far, it’s only an important first step.

“Our results don’t mean that we have found a cure or treatment for the coronavirus,” said Jeremy Smith, director of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Center for Molecular Biophysics, in a statement.

“We are very hopeful, though, that our computational findings will both inform future studies and provide a framework that experimentalists will use to further investigate these compounds,” he added.

The massive supercomputer was tasked with finding compounds that could bind to the “spike protein” or “S-protein” of the virus that it uses to infect host cells. By rendering the protein ineffective, the virus would be inhibited from spreading.

Using previously-created models of the coronavirus spike, the researchers simulated how particles in the viral protein would react to different drug compounds.

The team cut down the list from 77 to the top seven most promising candidates to treat the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

“Given the results from both sets of docking calculations, our work suggests that at least the seven compounds identified here would be reasonable initial compounds for experimental investigations in limiting SARS-CoV-2’s virus-host interactions,” reads the paper.

Next, the team is planning to run another simulation using a highly accurate spike protein model first identified in a study published last week by a different team of researchers.

Copper3D organizing global campaign to 3D print antimicrobial masks on a global scale
Download the open source antimicrobial mask 3D printable model here

Screen Shot 2020-03-21 at 10.15.13 AM.png

Copper has been used in clinical settings to reduce the risk of bacterial and viral contamination, complementing traditional protocols, and one of the leading companies for 3D printing in this field is Copper3D, producing filaments for antimicrobial devices. In fact, copper is considered to be one of the most effective materials that exist for killig coronavirus.

“As a company, we have a very practical approach. We look for great challenges to solve and we analyze what mix, between technology and design, could lead us to an effective and novel solution to that problem. We have a great ally at our side which is antimicrobial 3D printing, with this technology and intelligent designs many problems can be solved […] All of this in very intense work loops since many of these problems are really urgent, as in the case of this COVID-19 pandemic”, said Co-founder Daniel Martínez.

And it was precisely this pandemic of COVID-19 that led Copper 3D to quickly think of a solution for the global shortage of N95 masks due to the exponential increase in world demand for this product, to which was added another additional factor; the fall in distribution chains worldwide. So they quickly worked on developing the patent for a model similar to a standard N95 mask but with some peculiarities (Antiviral, Reusable, Modular, Washable, Recyclable, Low-Cost), which were completely designed in a digital environment so that it could be downloaded anywhere in the world and 3D printed with any FDM/FFF equipment, even a low cost one. The name of this mask in “NanoHack”.

Daniel Martínez elaborates on this topic: “Now the challenge was purely logistical because there was a breakdown of the distribution chains in the world. On the other hand, 3D printing takes time, for example, one of these masks takes around 2:00 hrs. to print what forced us to think collaboratively based on the concept of Distributed Manufacturing and networks of 3D printers working 24/7 in order to make a big amount of masks in a short time. That’s when we decided that we should coordinate a worldwide network of startups, makers, universities and partner companies that will help us to print these masks, in order to quickly amplify access to this design and make it really have a global impact. And that’s exactly what we did: Hack this pandemic with Nanotechnology, 3D Printing, Distributed Manufacturing and Networks of Collaboration with many organizations and people around the world.

Additionally, Copper3D decided to immediately release the patent (which was filed and pending) so that this design would be completely Open Source. This is probably the first case in the history of 3D printing that the same design is downloaded massively worldwide to prevent more deaths in the context of a pandemic.

I keep complaining I'm treated like a mule...I believed my mom when she said they found me under a rock...Guy called me a bastard, I told them I fkd their momma (school grnd stuff)...I survived stitches, broken bones, belts, yeah, o.k., boy stuff, but I survived to get more broken bones, beat up and sore fists other times, headaches and broken household goods and sorrow with death...

idk

I 'feel' kinda stronger...

but then i get jerk boss', corrupt irs, excess taxation...corrupt employees, inspections from every legal entity allowed, by law, no doubt...

then I 'feel' kinda,
a lot weaker...

21 Million Fewer Cellphone Users in China May Suggest a High CCP Virus Death Toll
BY NICOLE HAO

March 22, 2020 Updated: March 23, 2020

Epoch Times – by Nichole Hao

The number of Chinese cellphone users dropped by 21 million in the past three months, Beijing authorities announced on March 19. Deaths due to the CCP virus may have contributed to the high number of account closings.
Cellphones are an indispensable part of life in China.

“The digitization level is very high in China. People can’t survive without a cellphone,” Tang Jingyuan, a U.S.-based China affairs commentator, told The Epoch Times on March 21. “Dealing with the government for pensions and social security, buying train tickets, shopping … no matter what people want to do, they are required to use cellphones.

“The Chinese regime requires all Chinese to use their cellphones to generate a health code. Only with a green health code are Chinese allowed to move in China now. It’s impossible for a person to cancel his cellphone.”

China introduced mandatory facial scans on Dec. 1, 2019, to confirm the identity of the person who registered the phone. As early as Sept. 1, 2010, China required all cellphone users to register phones with their real identification, by which the state can control people’s speech via its large-scale monitoring system.

Furthermore, Chinese people’s bank accounts and social security accounts are bundled with their cellphone plans; apps on Chinese phones check SIM cards against the state’s database to make sure the number belongs to the user.

Beijing first launched cellphone-based health codes on March 10. All people in China must install a cellphone app and register their personal health information. Then the app can generate a QR code, which appears in three colors, to classify the user’s health level. Red means the person has an infectious disease, yellow means the person might have one, and green means the person doesn’t.

Beijing claimed that the health codes are intended to prevent the spread of the CCP virus, commonly known as novel coronavirus.

The Mechanical Ventilator: Past, Present, and Future
Robert M Kacmarek
Respiratory Care August 2011

Abstract
The use of ventilatory assistance can be traced back to biblical times. However, mechanical ventilators, in the form of negative-pressure ventilation, first appeared in the early 1800s. Positive-pressure devices started to become available around 1900 and today's typical intensive care unit (ICU) ventilator did not begin to be developed until the 1940s. From the original 1940s ventilators until today, 4 distinct generations of ICU ventilators have existed, each with features different from that of the previous generation. All of the advancements in ICU ventilator design over these generations provide the basis for speculation on the future. ICU ventilators of the future will be able to integrate electronically with other bedside technology; they will be able to effectively ventilate all patients in all settings, invasively and noninvasively; ventilator management protocols will be incorporated into the basic operation of the ventilator; organized information will be presented instead of rows of unrelated data; alarm systems will be smart; closed-loop control will be present on most aspects of ventilatory support; and decision support will be available. The key term that will be used to identify these future ventilators will be smart!

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has placed the entire country of India under lockdown for three weeks, in an effort to combat the spread of coronavirus.

The nationwide lockdown order, affecting a country of approximately 1.3 billion people, will go into effect at midnight, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

“If we listen to the health experts we know that 21 days are crucial to break the cycle of transmission,” Modi said in a televised address. “For a few days forget what it means to go out. Today’s decision of a nationwide lockdown draws a line outside your home.”

The decision comes as India has recorded 519 cases and 10 coronavirus deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University’s coronavirus case tracking map.

The United Kingdom similarly imposed a three week-minimum national lockdown on Monday. Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson similarly called on citizens to stay in their homes to limit the spread of the coronavirus from household to household.

“From this evening I must give the British people a very simple instruction – you must stay at home,” Johnson said. “Because the critical thing we must do is stop the disease spreading between households.”

Exceptions to Britain’s lockdown include for people going to gather groceries or medicines from pharmacies, as well as minimal daily exercise and travel to and from work if work cannot be done remotely.

On March 10, Italy announced a nationwide lockdown. At the time, the coronavirus death toll had reached 463 people. Currently, Italy has nearly 64,000 coronavirus cases and over 6,000 deaths.

The U.S. has introduced travel restrictions affecting travel in and out of the country, and major sporting events and church services have been cancelled, however no lockdown restricting people to their homes has been declared at the national level. Individual states have instead declared their own “stay at home” orders.

States that have issued some form of “stay at home” order or another include: Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Massachusetts, Louisiana, Delaware, Ohio, California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Connecticut, Oregon, Kentucky and Pennsylvania.
