So the only proof we have that the FBI actually said that comes from an Internet article (clickbait) written by this guy.

Pathetic old men frantically searching for the truth on the internet, twitter and Facebook.

....but Mr P you don’t understand ....he wrote what I want to hear so it must be true.

I stand with Mr Paradise on this one.

Ya can't play it both ways and cite "unnamed sources" or allow a one source article to allow you to a draw a conclusion on your side of the argument while dismissing the exact same standards being applied by people on the other side of the argument.

A little consistency with the way you apply your logic isn't a lot to ask.

Having said that, the article should stand on it's own merit. Nobody should be allowed to block or censor the article, the readers should be able to look at it and make their own conclusions. If it's a viable article time will tell.

"They told me that nothing ever happens to people who don’t talk,"

Not really a threat, so much as an admonition; like being shaken down for protection payments.

"Nice computer store you got here. Be a shame if something bad happens to it."

We really don't know what was, or wasn't said.

I could imagine the FBI saying "We'd appreciate you not saying a word about this to anyone."

May have even had him sign a nondisclosure lest he be arrested for interfering with a Federal investigation?

I could see that happening.

I certainly hope that Rudy and Donald take whatever steps are necessary to protect this guy and his family. I'm tired of hearing about good people trying to do the right thing getting suicided. Enough already. Protect the patriots! Let stop sacrificing them!

THIS is the scam of the century that hardly gets any notice. WHY? IF there truly was so much on there, why hasn't the FBI / DOJ done anything about it? Two possible explanations:

1) The FBI is covering something up for someone
2) There really isn't anything on the laptop

and once you give up the information, you no longer have any leverage...that pendulum swings both ways and it's a really bad tactic

but damned if it doesn't work more often than not

Cigarlover: I saw your concern about the translation.

I picked a screen shot of the guy speaking. The translation in English begins "Many people..."

The Mandarin pictographs on that line begin with:

"Many"

1602955391873.png

followed by:
1602955342957.png
followed by:
1602955515690.png
<-- ren = person

You would pronounce this to sound like this: "Hun dwo ren"

Now, if you play the sound of him speaking, you will instantly hear him say "Hun dwo ren" = many people.

That's all the Mandarin I'm gonna teach today, but as short as the lesson/example is, it gives you written English, spoken Mandarin, and written pictographs all at the same time. And they all match -- and you can test it by turning on the sound and listening for the phrase.

So at least we know that what the guy is saying is what is being printed. Nobody could get away with fake translation even for five minutes. While there are damn few of us Yankee "Big Noses" (in Mandarin: "Da Bz!") that can sling Mandarin, there's probably about a million ethnic types in this country alone that can handle English and Mandarin. They would scream bloody murder in a heartbeat.

It would be a CNN moment like whatzisname standing waist deep in rainwater while a guy just comes walking by in six inches of water.
