66+... double top? Still just buying silver here, but not as aggressively as I would have thought, just doesnt seem to be the time yet. No gold swaps for me at this time. As one joo bankster would say " just kinda waiting and watching"...

My budget won't allow me to start doing purchases of both until next month. Then it will be foreign fractional Gold when nothing of interest is found in the Silver pile.

I'll be looking for Sovereigns (just to keep Irons from catching them all...) but don't expect to find much (with Irons catching them all...).

This last leg up with the GSR has been interesting as it has occurred with PMs moving up. I don't think we are immune from further smack down at this point and even when the metals move I expect gold may make the break up first. Therefore I still see 70 as a good possibility. we c...

65-1 as of 8:40 am today and it looks like gold and silver may rebound some more especially with the earth quake in China. This number could jump up to 70-1 very quickly.

I actually need the price on silver to stay down for a bit longer till I can do my big order, just think if I buy 100 ozs today, its costing me $100 more so I need prices to stay low for just a bit longer :D

Does anyone dare to wait for 70/1 before swapping all au for ag?
That's when many of us made a lot of money.
We all know 15/1 is a matter of time.

Wait, I thought if we didn't trade all our gold for silver at 30:1 we were ruining our family.

We are not headed in the direction of 15:1..
Looks to me like we go higher? Zed mentioned possibly 68:1, I cant see any weakness in this chart
Not that I'm any sort of TA expert, just saying

Amazing the difference one week makes... think we are up and over the top, or is this just a rest before we continue the trek up?

Appears if 64:1 is broken we are headed lower for the short term?

I do believe that longer term the ratio goes higher, as I believe we have not quite seen a bottom yet. JMHO.

We are down near 63 right now and broke through that for a short time earlier tonight. This is a big week coming up. If we see continued strength then a solid argument can be made that we have seen the bottom - at least for a while. I'm not holding my breath, though - like a dog that has been kicked too many times in the past couple of years I still have my tail between my legs.

Amazing that we have slipped back under 60 that quickly... 68 is looking pretty far back in the mirror at this point.

Agree. In fact if we ride this down under 50 that is where I will make my first swap in the other direction.

Yes, less mass mo better.

They were very cool. I had bought 10 to flip based on what the 2012 PCGS 70 sets were doing, but got tired of the wait, plus it looks like PCGS 70 sets don't have quite the luster this year that they did last year. So I cancelled and just received a refund yesterday. She did add that if I changed my mind and wanted to order back at the original price by Friday I could do that. Class act.

I don't know what the slippery silverista will say, but we came down more than halfway to 51 from a high of 67/68 in three weeks. I would say there is a pretty good likelihood that we will see sub 50 before the year is out. If this does come to pass it would make the idea of trading out any recently bought sub $20 silver for the yellow metal a decent play.

Silver will easily double before gold does, maybe triple, Im hanging tough with the ugly stepchild. I may add a tad of the aunt if price allows.

I do know this. If I set a hard number, lets say 35. It will go to about 38 then reverse. And I'll still be stuck with the ugly little sister.

If it goes to 38 then I'm trading 1/4 of my stash, 35 another 1/4, and 30 below I'm all out. Just hopei get the chance.

Then it will probably bottom about 41.... I hate setting goals anymore. I had some ugly beat up 1 oz bars sitten on my desk ready to go trade for silver at 65:1.... couldnt do it. 70 was the goal.

I guess the good news is I did buy into a little silver on the dip, and I wont be as greedy when it comes time to roll it into Yeller this time.
