It’s Not a Turndown, It’s a Takedown – Catherine Austin Fitts

By Greg Hunter On June 18, 2022 In Media No Comments
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com(Saturday Night Post)
Catherine Austin Fitts (CAF), Publisher of The Solari Report and former Assistant Secretary of Housing (Bush 41 Admin.), contends this is what the so-called “reset” looks like. High food and fuel prices along with crushing interest rates are no accident. CAF explains, “To me, this is part of the ‘going direct reset.’ There is an official narrative, and the official narrative is they’ve got to stop inflation. . . . Let’s look very simply at what happened. They voted on the direct reset. Then they injected $5 trillion into the economy that went to the insiders. Then they used Covid to shut down the economy run by the outsiders. Now, the outsiders want to open another business, and they are going to radically raise the cost of capital to the outsiders. What’s going to happen is that $5 trillion is going to buy more assets more cheaply. To me, this is part of centralizing the control of the economy. They are asserting very significant central control. This is not a turndown–this is a takedown.”

HaHa. I presented CAF because I think she's one of the brightest lights out there regarding the current illegal manifestation of our world. Her sexuality was never considered, other than she's obviously an older well edumacated female.

Interesting in that is how one of the great dividers of today is utilized, converting everything into sexuality so that more folks can be separated overruled and segregated into easier to embarrass and defeat groups.

Inappropriate, and out of place, perfect for my enemies on this forum...

You must admit that the picture the author chose to post in the article is less than complimentary and not particularly representative of what she actually looks like.

BTW, I'm not your enemy, I'm just a guy in the same sinking ship as you trying to find an amusing moment here and there to generate a brief but rare smile while we sink into oblivion together!

She's an older woman whom I revere for her brain.

Ya I believe you were going for amusement, but my trigger finger is getting real sensitive.

Surely you mean more slavery, with much higher constrictions arminius.
That is what I see, and history guarantees.

I watched half of that.

When CAF started going on about a "con-con" (derogatory term) and "ramming changes through" she revealed herself to be ignorant, a liar or both.

The PROCESS makes that IMPOSSIBLE. EVERY STATE has to vote on proposed Amendments; and a 3/5 majority has to approve them!

This is the Sand-In-The-Gears stuff I've been complaining about. Everything we can do, can't be done. So we just sit tight and accept the Status Quo until we starve; and then, some secular Messiah will rise up...like Lyndon LaRouche (who is thankfully dead).

This woman is not one we should listen to. She makes some good points; but she tipped her hand here.

Huh, you're totally wrong. She is against having a con con. States we need to stick to our constitution. Talked about it in reference to them wanting to take our guns away.

You couldn't be more wrong about this.

Why would you hold something she didn't say against her?

I watch this lady and try to catch her every word. She is one of the brightest lights that Greg Hunter interviews and I would rather see her than anyone else on his show. My opinion.

The problem today is that so many are INDOCTRINATED into Statist sponsored Fabian socialism & Marxism that they dont even know what liberty really is.... it is now a foreign concept to them... the brighter ones under the dellusion of statism want liberty, but only on their terms... these people are absolutely disgusting in every way.

Yes.

And I'm FOR an Article V Convention! It is, or was, one of only a few ways to exit this runaway train of insanity!

And NO, anyone who gives it thirty seconds thought, after two minutes of reading Article V...NO, a "runaway convention" is IMPOSSIBLE.
You couldn't be more wrong about this.

Because she flat out said it.

The problem is the Left changed the Constitution (Amendment 17) in ways that effectively erased Federalism (state sovereignty)

The only way to put it BACK, and impose Term Limits, clarify Citizenship, and deal with the criminal insider-trading and graft...is going to be to BYPASS the criminal Congress. Article V Convention.

To say its dangerous is to spread fear - and slow the process. Because, for so many people, the Status Quo is doing great.

We have black race hustlers and poverty pimps. Do we now have Political Chaos Contrivers, who derive their status from this Long Emergency and thus don't want to see it end?

That’s why I put so-called Political Conservatives in the middle of the continuum on my scale of left/right political philosophy. The Statists are the real left wing, the Marxists of all varieties, for instance, the American Conservatives are actually centrists, the Libertarians are a bit further right, Classical Liberals are the farthest right I’m willing to go, as I believe that a minimal government is necessary and the Anarchists are farthest right, as they believe in zero government. I can’t quite get there with them, yet.

You can start by reading the Constitution.

And then you can work it logically. Fifty or a hundred CREDENTIALED delegates (not yahoos who just get picked by cities or party precinct captains, or whatever) are all going to "runaway"? And then 30 state legislatures are going to vote to approve idiocy?

How does THAT work? And if that's the case, can the nation be saved, with so many politicos ready to overthrow it?

Now, look. The problem we have STARTS with Washington, their past perversion of the Constitution and their present dismissal of it. And of their LIFETIME TENURE.

Term limits are needed. The Senate needs to be returned to State Legislatures. Other acts to undo what has been ruined, or put in new limits or strengths of Federalism and State input...all need to be enacted.

CONGRESS WILL NOT DO IT.

CONGRESS IS JUST FINE WITH WHAT IS. And "Voting Harder" does nothing. The last Republican Congress was almost as bad as this one. It's the Uniparty - maybe not intended that way, but a Beltway lifer is a Beltway lifer. You'd need a microscope to tell McConjob from Vodka Nan.

We can correct the Constitution, or we can play John Rambo and walk the streets looking grim. And most of us getting killed, and the US becoming a banana republic with the terrified survivors empowering a Strongman.

I can start, and possibly work it out? Would you like me to bow to your intellectual superiority?

Term limits are needed.

This is a big yes. This is one of the biggest keys to straightening out washington.

We can correct the Constitution

Wrong. We need to get the gov to obey the constitution. A con con would be an even worse disaster, guaranteed to be used by the same folks screwing up things for us now to screw things up more.

Catherine Fitts has been screaming about this since the Clinton administration. She has tried to warm people for several decades now. She withdrew quite a bit from the public and has worked on setting up a role model community. She told us 20 years ago what was coming and few listened. I did. She is on my short list of trusted people. Catherine Fitts, Gerald Celente and Bob Chapman were the main reasons I started buying metals and prepping.

Here is the sort and sweet version. I'm happy to see the Greek subtitles as Greece is a total mess. CAF not only understands the reality of finance but also understands we are fighting for our souls.

So, where are Term Limits supposed to come from? God? Do you think Congress will put them on themselves?

Thanks for the snark on "Intellectual Superiority." Yes, I'm feeling a bit of it...after 30 years (since Bubba Erectile) listening to the ignorami arguing about what the Constitution says or doesn't say. It is a SHORT DOCUMENT. READ IT.

Article V is very short:

Article V

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

There. That wasn't hard.

Runaway conventions are a sham argument, to generate FEAR of the only way we are going to GET change.

But it seems the idea of a chaotic, bloody French-style revolution is more exciting. So that's what they push for.

Wrong. We need to get the gov to obey the constitution. A con con would be an even worse disaster, guaranteed to be used by the same folks screwing up things for us now to screw things up more.

And how do you make them do that?

Repealing Amendment 17 would enable the States to take action to control the House through the Senate - returning a Balance of Power. Is the Congress going to repeal Amendment 17?

Is ANY meaningful change going to come from the system as it exists?

Is "Voting HARDER" going to do anything?

Do you know what is "insanity"? It's doing the same thing over and over, ignoring your failures, and expecting different results.

When the thieves find it easier to rob US treasury, what is it, a billion dollars a day to isreal alone among others, we are about finished. We interrupt that and they will start a war, we're on the precipice of that now as more and more become aware of the daily theft.

Please do me a favor and take your mis-information bullshit off my thread.

Read it, or don't read it.

If you don't read it but repeat the tevee babbling about "runaway conventions"...then we don't have any reason to discuss this, anymore.

I used to be FOR a CON CON but knowing how deeply embedded the cabal seems to be in EVERYTHING, I can easily see how a constitutional convention could QUICKLY go bad and backfire. We have a functional constitution - the problem is people have "shredded it" for decades.

Well, then, there's no solution.

Because the riot-in-the-street solution, is a quick way to wind up dead. Who survives, wind up being under Communism.

Voting won't work. Lawsuits, in GOVERNMENT courts, don't work. There is no foreign power to save us.

Just keep telling yourself that every exit ramp off this Highway to Hell, is "not going to work"...and you'll be wise, informed and superior as you do nothing until they come for your food and to poison you.
