I've owned this land for 30+ years, it's time to sell as my plans have taken another path.
It's located in Claiborne County, Tennessee on Cave Springs Rd. This mountain property has about a half mile of frontage on the Powell river. There are two good springs and a cave on the land. It is mostly woods with about 8 acres that used to be field and could be cleared again. Several good building sites. Over 100 Maple trees in one area. This place hasn't been logged in 60 years. Taxes are $98 per year and there are no restrictions on what you can do or build. Electric, Telephone and county water at the road. No zoning in this county. Deer, Turkey, Grouse and an occasional Bear and Elk can be found here. Perfect homestead land in a very survivalist thinking area.

It would be a bitch of a commute, but I'm half way sold. Post some pics if you've got them.

mtn--just curious, but is this close to where you will be? I'm sure a lot of folks here would agree that would make the land more valuable--having reliable, trustworthy neighbors.

Nope, I'm looking at an acre on the Tennessee river close to the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, I'll be able to dock my Riverboat there.

Check the OP, I've added requested info.

GORGEOUS FARGIN PLACE!!!

If I had anywhere near that much dry powder, I'd be all over that.

Nice property. East Tennessee is the only place East of the Mississippi River that I would locate.
