Wise purchase. I love mine.
I am familiar with it because I have a couple of local dealers that have one and they showed me how to use one. Right now, what I do is when I have a silver piece that I bought elsewhere (ex: from a coin show or from a flea market), that is questionable (i.e. too underweight or does not measure right), I will usually take it to one of those dealers to have it tested out. There is also another LCS that has a very expensive (cost = $30,000) x-ray gun that will also test a silver piece to verify that it is what it is stamped on it.

I believe that a Sigma will be a wise purchase when i plan to get one next month especially when I plan to start selling silver chinese panda coins starting next year to expand my "Schedule C business". I want to do my own Sigma testing and that is why I plan to get one.

Any good deals out there on Silver Eagles?...
I need to buy a tube for Christmas gifts...
They don’t need to be BU cause I want my grandkids to hold them and feel them in their pockets...

The peace of mind alone is worth the cost, even better if it help you avoid counterfeit material.

Here is a "circulated" Ducat... were these restrikes ever in circulation? Probably just an ex-jewelry piece. I don't know... but thought I'd post anyway as it works out to be pretty cheap after eBay Bucks.

Although why bother when you can have a 4 Ducat coin for under $10 shipped straight from the manufacturer! :)

So how do you find out if the item is one of the "select items" that is excluded?

EDIT TO ADD: I guess you have to add the item to your cart and apply the code there and see if it takes it or not.
Helpful hint: If you put multiple items in your cart it will apply the 15% to the total (Max of $75)

I gota still stay with silver, it will triple and more before gold doubles, bottom line is how many people will be running to buy metals when the Armageddon starts, silvr triples to 45 most can buy some, gold doubles to 280 per 1/10th ounce not so many can buy.

I found the quarters and searched throughout the day, off and on, to surf for any better deals, and I even went looking for dimes
These quarters from Apmex are the best bet and I came here to share, but like always, there are fast rabbits around here;)
$96.98 delivered, was a fair, below spot, price for 90% Constitutional Coinage

kinda makes me think back a bit, like the 'good old days', when a silver quarter used to cost 25¢
now I'm paying $2.42 each for these quarters

This Deal Was Sweet!
Better than bucks, money stays in my pocket and from profits from some previous ebay sales, I had $100 to toss back into the game, profit, so, that made one roll Free! while the rest were all under spot.

I didn't max out the deal but I did just fine!
Thanks Ebay!
:2 thumbs up:
