Just came from the market....no shortages here. I few holes in the shelves here and there but I would say the store was 90% stocked . Meat cases were full and bright, plenty of milk eggs bread, produce. Cereal isles full as well as the end caps.

The Aldi store here is newly remodeled and has luxury cars in the lot and well dressed customers. They are low on eggs and dairy but still have them from different, more local suppliers. The perks of living in America’s Dairyland.

Just got back home from a trip. Along the way stopped at a Wollyworld in Little Rock. HOLLLY CRAP….they had EVERYTHING In stock. I’ve honestly never seen a store so fully stocked, even before COVID. Guess it’s the perks of living in their home state.

Yep, I've always noticed them right before it is supposed to rain. Usually about 24-48 hrs before. Not sure if they want the particulates / poisons to rain down or altering the rain chances.

Chicken 4.50 a lb. Bout triple from the last time I bought any which was admittedly a long time ago.
Amish store called yesterday. Wheat berries are finally available again. 50% increase from when I was looking for them less than 2 months ago. This is nothing more than price gouging. This wheat was in stock all along they just didn't sell it until they saw what the market would do. Now that it's leveled out of even retracing a bit, it's become available at the higher price.

Massive Cheese Recall Issued Over Possible Contamination

Kansas City-based cheese company Paris Brothers, Inc. is issuing a voluntary recall of several cheese products after it was discovered that they could be contaminated by Listeria monocytogenes.
The Food and Drug Administration states that the recall affects cheeses produced on May 4, 5, and 6 and contains the lot codes of 05042022, 05052022, or 05062022.
According to the FDA, the recall affects the following products.
- Cottonwood River Cheddar
- D’amir Brie Double Crème French Brie
- Milton Prairie Breeze White Cheddar Style
- Milton Tomato Garlic Cheddar
- Paris Brothers Mild Cheddar
- Paris Brothers Colby Jack
- Paris Brothers Pepper Jack
- Cervasi Pecorino Romano
Listeria can “cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems,” according to the FDA.
Healthy individuals can experience a severe headache, high fever, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea as a result of the infection.
According to the FDA, no illnesses have been reported.
