Incredible what an epic fail the series appears to be right now. I still think its day in the sun will come.

I bought one with the 15% ...hasn't arrived yet. Factoring in the bucks and CC I got mine for like $620.
Let us know if they give you something other than an '07. With more ebay buck promotions this might be the best deal going in gold. Apmex also had $10 gold commems eligible for bucks but I dont see much numi potential there long term.

These things were so hated they do not even have a GOOD book written about them...

As the gold price starts to correct to match all the money and US bond creation - these things in TOTAL will adjust way upward.
They just started with the recent $1200 to $1500 gold prices this 2019 year until today 9-28-19.

BTW all gold numis coins will start an upward long term price escalation...

These coins were hated...
they were shunned...
they were kicked down to unbelievable low mintage's...

The OLD GALS will have their revenge on the male collectors...
Mark my words But I will not hold my breath...

Besides I ended up with 53 coins under 3,000 mintage's in USA gold 1/2 ounce...
Imagine that? Many UNDER 2,000 in that bunch...
That shows male fickleness on steroids... LOL

Problem is... There arent 1000 people who have any interest in the president’s wives coins. Low mintage only matters in relation to demand. When demand is nonexistent, doesnt matter how few coins were minted. Whatever the number, it was too many. There’s a reason you arent holding your breath. LOL. That being said, I will buy the low mintage coins when I can get them for spot.

Just another basket of gold derivatives in my plan...

I doubt there is many full sets available because of the work and lack of love
For the old gals...

You won't lose a cent on those golden babes, HS. And it won't be just because of their numismatic value. It will due to the ballooning price of the metal they're made of. Meanwhile, you've had the enjoyment of accumulating the interesting collection. It's an envious set, sir; and I only chuckle along with you on your unique way of being able to espouse, "See, I told you so." (Yes, that pun was intended)

THANK's how you make money - they are pure gold - they are... hated - but that is
how you make money - looking for a hated ITEM & thinking contrary since 1998 never hurt me.

GOSH... OMG... gold was only $255 in 2000... ish for years... what is it now a grand? LOL an

Silver was $4.00 silver eagles were $6.50 ish

I know my extra slabs out of my sets - are 20 Mercanti's 70s MS & PF - in the last few years are rather RARE -
I snuck them in... my wife LOVED 'em!

HS, it looks like there are a lot of folks who just don't get it. So, you and I will just have to have our chuckles together until they do. Gale Garnett had the words to explain it--"We'll Sing In The Sunshine." I laugh at current prices, and my sovereigns won't fit in a roll tube; so I had to get a safety deposit box. Keep singing! "We'll laugh every day..."

And we both have been at it long enough to get the joke...just sayin".

Farpdinkle IN my research I found the govy
T-AGENTS confiscated every gold coin in bank "Safe Deposit boxes"

1934. They did not steal the gold = nope they left nice new paper $20 Federal Res. Notes
for every $20 gold coin - as a gift for the past owner...

Too make it worse - six months later FDR said the legally taken coins by
recent law (his law their coins) were NOW (LOL) worth a hell of a lot more.
HE made 3 billion $ for his govy - and then
raised their price to $35.00 from $20 - bet those folks wish they kept 'em in
a phony light plug box in their wall... I'll bet ya!

HIDDEN in plain sight!
Safe deposit
boxes are for paper stuff only - sorry, word to the wise...

BIG STUFF?
Get a fireproof by design floor safe - perhaps in garage - carpet over it.
Cheap fire protection....

BTW - I knew ALL the Fort Knox gold was gone when the Chinese started to complain about
(not only the tungsten coated bars but a few months prior) -
all the 400 troy ounce 90% gold bars from the U.S. mint.

Clintons were too cheap after their theft to even send them out to a govy smelter.
Probably because someone would snap a picture of billions of dollars of HIJACKED GOLD
and put it on some rudimentary computer social screen back in the Clinton Summers Rubin
(1995-1998) selling off America's gold days...

FRD melted all the 90% coins pre-1933 gold of all kinds - and sent them to Fort Knox back then.
That thief was a stamp collector - he "shoulda" known - but did not give a Rhett Butler DAMN about gold
- he was a total socialist one-worlder of the highest regard with his wife and her girl friend.
Besides he owed the BIG EIGHT SECRET WORLD RULERS something.

i once read that quarter eagles were exempt from fdr's crap. anyone else seen that?
Yes I saw that too. BUT I figure that the BANKERS' tellers grabbed them all for their families because of rarity of availability.

Debt being that it may (for any person in the depression) made them probably gravitate to coin shops as a front so they could sell the $20 & $10 out the back door - so to speak.

Human nature never changes...

BTW - have a BAG of $1,000 junk silver around for the same thing alas 2020s...
