I got a text over a month ago from a friend in another part of the state that his brother was at Yale New Haven in a diabetic coma. No change since then apparently, they have him on an anti-seizure med. I'm not sure how long he was unconscious before he was found as that affects how much brain damage could have occurred. The friend is relying on the doctors, but they are geared to minimizing risks, first that they don't get sued, second to maybe help the patient. His brother was a big pot smoker, which may actually protect the body from damage with all the preserving chemicals in it. Any thoughts on this?
