many of us know now that Ardent Listener has passed away,

was a gim'er for a long long time,

wife stated he was dealing with cancer for the past 9 years, which would mean he became a gim'er while dealing with issues like that.

and we would never have known it, as he never made an issue of it,

he was just himself, and a outstanding contributor over the years,

for those that remember him,

I'd say absolutely yes. I started a thread on Realcent suggesting that Ardent be given some kind of permanent honorary rank in lieu of his huge contributions for that site, and I think something like that would be in order here as well.

Great decision, this.
I frequently say ( more and more the last few years after an illness of my own )
" Smell some roses ", " Live some life ", " Hug the wife or the kid or the dog even ", " Party ! a little "
Life is short, too short to get completely absorbed in how the system is hosed beyond belief to the point of not enjoying
and appreciating what wonderful folks we are exposed to every day. JMO of course.
We were truly blessed to have been able to read his thoughts.

That's sad news!!! I haven't been visiting or posting as much lately as I've been too busy.

I just can't understand why someone would vote "no".
