Links and further reading below! This video will talk you through all the training you might need in real life to become fast, agile and explosive like Black Panther.

Obviously in the comics T'Challa has superpowers and a vibranium armour - we'll be skipping over that. Instead, I'm focussing on some interesting techniques to boost jump height, flexibility, proprioception etc.

For instance, did you know that stretching your tibialis anterior (a muscle on your shin) can improve jump height by reducing the antagonistic resistance? Or that training the flexor hallucis longus (big toe flexor) will also improve jump height and running speed?

I also discuss using eccentric plyometrics (such as depth jumps) and how to learn and use multiple martial arts with quick reflexes.

In this, What I eat in a day video, I will show you a full day of eating in my regular, daily life. I like to keep it simple, to have good and healthy food available is a must when you're on the run and work out a lot. Since a couple of months back I'm also a vegetarian, so my meals do look a bit different than before. I usually eat breakfast and the typical meal is oats with protein powder. I also eat a snack before lunch, then a snack again before dinner. To finish the day off I eat casein protein as a night meal. I think it's important to always give your body new fuel so that you always are fit for fight, both physically and psychologically.

So a lot of you have been asking me, how do you get though a fast easier, and what are some things you can do to further enhance the effect of your fast? So let's talk about 3 herbs that help with fasting...

0:30 - #1: Ashwagandha
This is an adaptogenic herb. What that does in the body is that it helps your hormones balance and helps your body modulate. This will help you feel a little more "normal" while you're fasting.

1:22 An ashwagandha study reported a 69% average reduction in anxiety, compared to the 11% in the placebo group.

1:47 Ashwagandha has traditionally been used to boost memory in Ayurvedic practice.

3:02 - #2 Rhodiola Rosea
This is also an adaptogenic herb. This herb can actually increase your ability to burn fat because it contains something known as rosavin.

3:24 Rosavin works by stimulating an enzyme called hormone-sensitive lipase which has the ability to breakdown fat that is stored in adipose tissue.

3:37 Now there was one study that was done that took a look at 130 overweight patients, and they gave half of the group rhodiola rosea, and the other half, a placebo. The rhodiola rosea group led to a mean weight loss of 19 pounds (11% reduction in body fat), compared to the only 8 pounds of loss by the placebo group.

4:35 - #3 Green Tea Extract
You can get it by flat out drinking green tea, or taking a green tea supplement.

4:44 Green tea contains EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) that increases the hormone CCK (cholecystokinin), which is responsible for creating the feeling of satiation. Essentially - this will help keep the cravings away!

Powerlifting has its roots in dimly lit garages where mythical tales of triumph and defeat were on display under the veil of heavy metal, chalk, and blood. Men mightier than mountains (in their own mind) have been built through home gyms since the beginning of the sport of Powerlifting, and whether you plan to compete or not, Powerlifting as a training regimen is highly effective. Although there are many who travel to gyms to train, these people will never experience the joy of stepping out your back door into a training facility enviable by even the best outfitted commercial gym.
