No pie in the sky bullshit please, Mrs Irons wants to sell some Eagles, Libertads, Britannias, bars and rounds.

Please let me know what is a good selling price and I'll post a selling thread.

Thank You!

Looking at the major dealers, SAE's are pulling insane premiums of spot +$13 or thereabouts. Most other silver, including maples, philharmonics, etc., around a $6 premium and generic a buck or two less.

You could try selling at close to those prices but I think you'd do better (faster anyway if that's an issue) at a $2-$3/oz off of that.

I cut and pasted a Buy/Sell the other day (different thread) from a major market maker that is Dealers Only. I got access to it from a brick and mortar dealer friend a few years ago. Here is the latest sheet for silver posted yesterday. I do not have permission to do this, so I snipped out the name of the company and their contact info.
Also, I am interested in some Britannias, preferably BU Rolls if available.
Thanks
Dan

Yet the dealers still only offer their customers a buy price based on spot.

JMB is only offering a buck over spot for Libertads and .50 cent over for Philharmonics - less than 2 bucks over spot for Silver Eagles. Doesn't look like a shortage to me. I wouldn't sell for these prices.

A safe and relatively fair starting point might be along the lines of :

Spot + 25% for Eagles currently 34.25
Spot + 15% for other premium silver Brits, Libertads, Phils, Maples, etc. Currently 31.51
Spot + 10% for generic rounds and bars. Currently 30.14

Spot(ask) = 27.40 at this time.

A small discount to current prices locally or online, but still something of a deal for stackers. Also it seems like a decent starting point for a trusted individual seller. It's roughly where I'd price things here.

While the premiums on eagles are (too)high still, they're coming back to Earth everywhere NOT called "apmex".

This is the just the beginning.
The premium that dealers are willing to pay will soon widen, me thinks.

I wouldn't sell in here either, but the data on the mig is inaccurate. ...and by mig I mean philly. JMB is paying a buck over spot for Austrian coins.

Thank you everybody for your input, I don't bother keeping up with actual prices.

Random year Philharmonics buy back price is $27.86. The higher buy back price is for 2020 and 2021.

I see. Reckon they're trying to get some silly people to harm themselves. Mintage on those discs has been quite low since 2015...like < 3m low. Guess some people won't care to do their homework. Likely 2020 and 2021 will be significantly more common when all is said and done.

I got a newspaper flyer in the mail box the other day.
Some circus performers looking to buy anything of value.
You could call the number, but I'd be willing to bet that doesn't fall in your no BS pricing plan.

You should list them up in lots and do auctions.

From the price sheets posted it appears the dealers are paying more to their wholesalers. A lot more. Yet they still want to try and hustle their customers at spot on the buy side.
People need to start transacting person to person. I have no future use for APMEX and similar going forward.

You could go AUCTIONS with Reserves / Minimum Bid ( Each item has to meet a minimum price level / Start Bidding At. Where you feel good about and those bidding don't feel scalped). Jus' Sayin'

I like Libertads, so if you want to trade for something else, please shoot me a PM with a wish list.
