Silver gaining on the back of gold’s outburst today. Still unnoticed and unloved.
Like a Red-headed stepchild.... better to sell it off while it's still worth something.

83.3/1 per my calculation. Coininfo doesn't seem to be working.

Looks like coininfo is trying to resolve their tech difficulties.

I talked to a dealer about a new paradigm shift for playing the GSR. He said 55 to 1 would be right around where you would want to trade silver for gold. Any thoughts on this?

I think 40/1 or below is a good place to trade Ag for Au. I also think that trading Au for Ag at the present ratio is very, very tempting.

40/1 would make sense if you bought silver now because it’s over 80. Your 80 ounces would turn into two ounces of gold if I am thinking correctly. Alchemy!!! Yeah I have thought of trading now but two things arise:
1) Storage issues
2) doubt that we would ever get a 40/1 scenario again.

Have any of you done this, past or present? Do dealers do an even exchange? What if you have halfs and fifths....?
I'd definitely do the silver into gold. What say youse guys?

I did some trading when the ratio was mid 30's to one, wish I'd traded more. I can't complain, I did real well.

I'm considering trying to do a few trades soon, Au for Ag.

I think most people are thinking about trading their gold for silver with the ratio this lopsided. I think the general idea is just to trade as many ounces of one metal as you want for whatever that buys in the other. Of course the dealer will take the vig, that is how they survive.

Ordered a monster box yesterday. I’ve never felt this good about a purchase.

I just don’t see silver going more than a few dollars lower ever, and if it does I’ll get even more at a cheaper price. Win-win.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the premium?

Used my debit card on Eagles, I know I always harp on about maples having security features, but I haven’t seen any fake sealed monster boxes ever. I digress.

$17.51042 per coin. When I ordered spot was $14.3? according to APMEX.

I fully intend on swapping this for gold years down the line (running out of room in my small safe) and I hope I could possibly cash in on some type of numismatic value if possible.

69.78130735870413 Ratio for this purchase.
