That would be awesome. I'll be happy to pay for the flat rate shipping box of course!I should get Irons address and send him a bag from Arizona.
Todays outing wasn't all that productive as the ground was still a little bit wet.
Haven't had any measurable rain in 2 weeks, I figured I'd be able to drywash today.View attachment 201219View attachment 201219View attachment 201220
We were out in Doug's spot first time since he passed away....(RIP DOUG)
That's Doug's chair on the left, we left the dirt out to dry.
That's the way Doug used to do it.
That would be awesome. I'll be happy to pay for the flat rate shipping box of course!
.
That would be cool, I would really enjoy it!If your looking at it as something to pass the time, get a little workout, all while uncovering small gold that hasn't seen daylight for many years...
This stuff might be worthy...I should vaccum up the area and get a good sampler box.
Let me see what I can put together.
He didn't guarantee any set amount of Gold he just stated in the description "loaded with Gold." This is probably the only truly unsearched paydirt out there because they never send too much Gold on purpose.
I had a helper too!
Oh man that is awesome! PM sent!I heard some sellers pad every 10 bags or so with a little extra.
I know the stuff from roaring camp is that way IF you're a member of the month club.
I've got that ARIZONA practice bag ready.
PM me an address to send it.

Feel free to get the assistance of your helper.
I'll drop it off at the post office tomorrow.
Got it today sir, Thank you again! Gotta love Arizona mining dirt a magnet sticks to the plastic bag!I'll drop it off at the post office tomorrow.
Small flat rate box about 5.5 pounds.
Not your ordinary practice bag for sure.
Irons I read previously in the thread you bought 2 panning kits. Which one do you prefer?
I think im gonna get in on this.
You are on your own there. I watch youtube videos where folks do paydirt reviews and also videos that teach me how to pan.Alrighty then.......thanks for the info....................
Now gotta ask, what is the best prospecting message board?
Yes, it is a fun skill to learn and a relaxing hobby. I thoroughly enjoy it.say , this is fun

I would be all over that creek man! I did pan some of that awesome paydirt brother RTE sent me, I took some pictures too so I plan on making a post of it I just haven't got to it yet. It is drywasher concentrates and super magnetic and heavy. There is Gold in it too but you have to do a spoonful at a time and work it down slowly. I will be working on that bag for quite a while which is cool as hell!Hey Irons , have you done any qualifying or stratification of that Arizona paydirt yet?
ordered another bag the other day when gold was down and added an extra gram to the bag
panning for gold like this is satisfying and for me is a catalyst for prospecting and panning in the real world
I have access to some property that I know was sluiced for gold about a 100 years ago and not since
a creek runs through the middle of this ten acres and the 20 next to it so altogether I will have access to about 30 acres

getting the flour gold is a real tedious process and with time and patience I think I can get 90% or more....I trying drying some fines on paper towel and then get the magnet to clean the black and then maybe collect the flour

If I lived out west I would join the GPAA and prospect their claims or find another group to join that has claims for their members.

The dredge concentrates I get from Alaska dredgeman are so full of shattered mica and small mica chunks it really adds to the challenge of panning it. I keep a 30x loupe and small needle nose pliers handy to test the mica that looks like Gold and stays with the Gold when I am washing the black sand out of it.lots of stuff for this old guy to learn....the world of geology is fascinating
Many people are surprised that biotite mica can fool people into thinking that it is gold. This most often occurs when an inexperienced person is panning for gold and sees a bright flash in their gold pan.
After chasing the tiny, highly lustrous flake, they think that it might be gold. However, slight pressure with a pin can break the flake of mica, but a tiny flake of gold will bend around the pin.
You can't go wrong with Goldbay, Dave is the real deal and he's honest. The chunky Gold paydirt is excellent and you can buy just nuggets if you want, large or small. I am good enough at panning that now my new favorite is his 103% ROI paydirt bags. They are small bags around a pound and a half of dirt with a full gram of small Gold added. One bag takes me an hour to pan out and If I have more time I'll pan out 2 or 3 bags.We have lots and lots of mica in my area too. I've been dealing with it for years. We even have areas where they mine Mica, for what purpose I have no idea. I think I'm going to order a bag or two from GoldBay. Mostly looking for some chunky gold that I can use for practice with my new metal detector. Thinking about ordering a Chunky bag and some extra 6 or 8 mesh gold nuggets. Any suggestions Irons?
WOW, this is an interesting hobby and the video was quite informativeKlesh breaks down panning Gold at home. I learned a lot from this guy.
