I had a co-worker/friend, circa Y2K+-

He grew up in Mexico and his father worked in a Copper mine.

Copper, I exclaimed. What about gold and silver?

Turns out Cu is the King, while Pt, Au, Ag, Ni, Pb, et al are merely by-products of Copper mining.

The by-products were carted out of the mine every day in huge chunks, or so it was told...

i keep a supply of emergency food. In addition im probably sitting on around 7,000 rounds of 5.56 and 7,000 rounds of FN 5.7, which has skyrocketed to the point i refuse to discharge it.
