Just did this and another order with them through eBay for the ebucks.
One day I hope these quick decisions pay off. My 401k, despite current degradation, is way up over gold and silver over the last 5 years, not counting partial match, which I max out.

Now, I don't know about the $300 gold and $6 silver I bought way back when has done in comparison.

My first acquisition of any 40% Kennedy silver.
This is what passes for a deal these days as this comes out to be a 1.84/oz premium.

Kennedy 40% Silver Half Dollars - $100 Face Value Melt Value

The Kennedy 40% Silver Half Dollars - $100 Face Value coin contains 29.579 troy ounces of silver bullion. The melt value of one Kennedy 40% Silver Half Dollars - $100 Face Value coin is $714.04 based on the current silver spot price.

Since I just bought some the spot price of silver should now plummet. No need to thank me!

I need gold back to $1780 before I buy some of those SD Bullion Perth knockoff 1oz. bars. They were $1844 each last month.

I saw this and though, it's a deal. But then I looked at the buy back price, it is below spot.
Am I missing something? I don't mind foreign coins, but I like them near melt, not with big premiums.
Tell me what I am missing please.

well, if he will sell them below melt price, I will hook him up.
I would have sold you mine at below melt price but sadly, they're all sitting at the bottom of a lake. Sad story really...

For $473 you get free shipping. Seller gets at best $470 after shipping. Probably more like $467-469. Buy back price is only $30 lower than sell price. That's really not much. The dealer needs to make profit. Only $60 on a $1000 sale. Better yet, you can always sell in person (or via forums) to those that like these things... and I know some people that pay more than APMEX. :)

I understand. I just think buying back below melt show the "value" of Sovereigns. Most I have I bought below melt, fleabay.
This is a special sale price at Provident. I don't go to APMEX very often.

(The advert, not the coin lol) Is GIM2 a "Private Client Group" that gets special pricing?

Swiss 20 francs gold AU $385.

I just paid $350 last month, but gold popped. This is decent for fractional gold.

I heard copper is at a all time high. Much silver produced as a by product of copper production. Connection?

If you are local to me there is a special selling opportunity in the County Seat. Best prices for gold and silver. I gotta run because I have some suba diving to do before it gets dark or the lake freezes again. Thought I would drop this for you guys before I run off.

These suckers are in for a real beating when I get there. I wonder if they know what spot even is.

These coin dealers et al have to buy wholesale so they can sell retail...after all they have a lot of overhead to pay. That is why, to me, holding PMs are not good for trading meaning paper gold might be a better way to capitalize on price moves. That's just my preference though and am just sayin...

If you happen to know, could you kindly share it?

I like the silver kilos < $850 with $820 being optimal. If silver falls back in profit taking.

That's why I don't go full retard buying these days....a little nibble here, a little nibble there....because at some point we may never see $<850 again. Maybe that's today, maybe not....but I believe a nibble here and a nibble there all averages out as wins in the end

So let this be a lesson to you all. Never EVER buy when I do. Wait until I buy then allow the spot prices tumble before pulling the trigger. :rage 1

Not in my buying range, but a relatively good deal @ $907 silver kilo.

Bar prices do not fluctuate 100% in line with spot. There is so much volatility this morning before the market opens which is exposing minimum manufacturer wholesale prices and dealer minimum premiums.

Spot pushes the market, but does not control it 100%. It's like a slimy, slithering snake that was just pulled out of the swamp with your bare hands.

You just described the entire US Congress along with the Biden Circus (laughingly sometimes referred to by some as an 'administration')

1/10th oz.gold @ $217 - $214 is a relatively good deal. My personal buying range is $195 - $200.
I may need to wait until Black Friday, but the world could end before then.

I have not seen any deals on silver. I am waiting for a pullback to $23 + $1.75 premium on kilos.

Ya, nibble when you can find the deals. This discount code was here somewhere on GIM a couple weeks ago. You had to break 2k so I had to add the silver.
