The silver premium is huge and the GSR is out of wack against silver, IMO. I'd trade all my gold with little to no numi value straight up for silver in a heartbeat, non-graded pre 1933 included.

Who's getting the gold and who's getting the silver. I wouldn't sell my silver for gold at nearly 80:1. That's nutz

I like my silver and gold. I'm no speculator, I just collect shiny metal and send it to the bottom of the lake for safe keeping.

Spot: Silver $25 Cheapest silver at $29, $3 over spot:
$234 premium to get to the price of gold at ratio

Gold $1954 Cheapest gold Maple at $2034, $80 premium to get to the price of 78 silver rounds at ratio.

I'm mindfucked.

78 to 1 correct.
I should be converting gold pulled from the ground into silver according to the chart.
Hmmm,

Hmmm,
The problem with silver is the premium right now. If you sell your gold at the reasonable premium it is now and then take that money and buy silver at the severe premium you have to pay, 78 goes down...I didn't do the math but it's probably in the 60's. I'm still buying silver when I find deals but I'm trading nothing.

The 2 oz. silver becomes collectible after a couple of years like 1/10th platinum because of super low mintage.

You can buy a roll of 10 on ebay for $2 more and use a crefit card.

Kilo silver back in stock at SD $847. I also like the 100 oz bar, 1oz. & 1/2 oz. random gold coins. Everything is on Monday beatdown sale.

They also instituted the three tier pricing vs the one price for all.

Me too. The ASE is the gateway drug for silver. There will be plenty of newcomers willing to outstrip supply. Premiums will go higher despite today's beatdown. Same thing might be true for morgans and peace dollars.

I bought a few of these. Platinum seems to be at a good price for me to dip my toes in :)

If you have been observing platinum you would have seen the paper price around $850 last year and 1 oz. coins @ spot + $200 if you could find it.

My optimal purchase prices are $1050 for 1oz. and $120/$125 for 1/10th. You may need to wait until 2025 when any surplus platinum should dry up, then it should move up to palladium spot. I have waited longer for silver, but its metrics are technically different.

I think I'm doing alright
Today's purchase was: $245.87 shipped for 2/10ths
I bought an ounce back in Nov for $1016.19 shipped (this has already been lost somehow - will try an relocate when the water warms up a bit)
