If I was a psychiatrist I would tell you that every time you are bothered by this you should shoot your cannon.

that way you are reminded of the fact that you have a cannon and many others don't. now go use some kind of recreational alternative so you don't wake the neighbors!

Radical?

You might as well buy a Vulcan/Hesse/Blackthorn.

The only .22 i had was a MAB semi auto .22 from my father circa 1950? Has a floating firing pin, still shoots reliably well. I bought the TX22 some months ago when all the rage was the very pricey Ruger Mark IV. Got it mainly for the threaded barrel, but the price was good too - great piece. Grandson shoots the hell out of it.

I don't know that the much maligned KelTec CP33 was a good price ($630 ? ) - after much research and homework , I got it for the threaded barrel and the 33 rd mags. got a speed loader for it for obvious reasons. The 'experts' used to rag about KelTec being a cheap pos , but I'm thinking they've come a long way since the bad press a few years ago. Very happy with it.

The Keltec and Taurus are the most popular .22s now. You can buy a Ruger or Walther, but they are older designs and $150 more.

I believe the Keltec is a clam shell, so you need to Locktiite the screws.

Hammertime?

Menards has four of the Halder dead blow hammers on sale at about 1/3 of their normal cost. Plus, this falls into the timeframe of the Menards 11% MAIL-IN REBATE Good Through 5/28/22. So, if you are near a Menards store you can receive a 11% rebate to be used IN STORE on a future purchase. For those not near a Menards store, they do ship orders. IMO, it would be too expensive to justify the purchase of one hammer BUT if you order more stuff in the same order, it makes the shipping costs much more palatable. One additional point...... FYI.... At these prices, it is less expensive to purchase another hammer than it is to purchase replacement face inserts for the hammer!

The hammers on sale are the:

Halder Supercraft 19 oz. Dead Blow Hammer Model Number: 3388.035 for $8.99

Halder Supercraft 26 oz. Dead Blow Hammer Model Number: 3388.04 for $14.99

Halder Supercraft 2 lb Dead Blow Hammer Model Number: 3388.05 for $14.99

Halder Supercraft 3.75 lb Dead Blow Hammer Model Number: 3388.06 for $19.99

Here is the link to all of their Halder offerings:

https://www.menards.com/main/search.html?sf_categoryHierarchy=&search=halder+hammer

They ship quickly. I placed my order on Friday morning and they arrived Sunday via Fed Ex.

Keltec Sub2000 $480

Nice deal for those who like this type of weapon. With all due respect to the OP, I was never a big fan of rifles chambered in a pistol round caliber. I never saw the point but, different strokes for different folks! :2 thumbs up:

I don't own one, but it's a popular platform and cheap carbine that folds in half for easy storage. Lots of fanboys

I am tempted to sell some VZs and buy the MP knockoff, but I already have a 10" 5.56 AR pistol still unfired.

My goto's are LCP, SP101, Glock19 and VZ58.

Why 20 rounds?
I don't own a single one I guess. New WA law will kick in July 1st but I can still have them sent to a second property in another atate.

From videos I've seen on the subject I think it takes more than a space blanket to reduce a person's heat signature.
'Fraid so. Night is day as far as your body is concerned with imaging in use. You can tell if someone has long or short sleeves on as he "hides" there...

A thermal blanket may help camping. For drone avoidance, get underground or underwater.
