For cripes sake it's raining here too. 28F at the ground level and walking is just plain dangerous. Buddy called and asked if I wanna go to Lloyd with him, to which I replied with a humungous NOOOO. Been there and done that with him and I don't need to feel like I'm gonna die for 200 miles. Fuck.
Despite all of my bitching, it's been relatively general in WY. I hate winter and they are damn sure getting longer but outside of an idiotic cold snap in October the temps are on par. Last year, February was uncharacteristically cold, fingers are crossed that we won't suffer a repeat.
40s and sunny here. I almost want to open the windows. Nicest day in a long time. So far, this winter has been far milder here than the last 3 were. The real measure though is when it ends to the extent we can start doing spring stuff outside.
We hit 60 here in south central Ohio today!
Groundhog saw it's shadow, means we get six more weeks of spring then the real spring is supposed to arrive.
Most open winter since I've lived here - which has been since 1974.
Where I lived before that, well not many open winters there, N.E. PA.
